We investigated the impact and predictive value of bladder function in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)on the efficacy of transurethral ***,imaging,and urodynamic data of patients who underwent transurethral prostatectomy at West China Hospital of Sichuan University(Chengdu,China)from July 2019 to December 2021 were ***-up data included the quality of life(QoL),International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),and IPSS storage and voiding(IPSS-s and IPSS-v).Moreover,urinary creatinine(Cr),nerve growth factor(NGF),brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),and prostaglandin estradiol(PGE2)were measured in 30 patients with BPH and 30 healthy *** indicators were determined by subgroup analyses and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve *** the 313 patients with BPH included,patients with severe micturition problems had more improvements but higher micturition grades postoperatively than those with moderate ***,good bladder sensation,compliance,and detrusor contractility(Dc)were predictors of low postoperative IPSS and *** urinary concentrations of BDNF/Cr,NGF/Cr,and PGE2/Cr in patients were significantly higher than those in healthy participants(all P<***1).After evaluation,only DC was significantly related to both urinary indicators and postoperative recovery of *** with good DC,as predicted by urinary indicators,had lower IPSS and IPSS-v than those with reduced DC at the 1st month postoperatively(both P<0.05).In summary,patients with impaired bladder function had poor *** combined levels of urinary BDNF/Cr,NGF/Cr,and PGE2/Cr in patients with BPH may be valid predictors of preoperative bladderfunction and postoperative recovery.

Objective To find a viable alternative to reduce the number of doses required for the patients with post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD),and to improve efficacy and patient *** In this study,we used ginger oil,a phytochemical with potential therapeutic properties,to prepare ginger oil ***-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)was used to quantify the main active component of ginger oil,*** absorption experiments were conducted to optimize the various pressure-sensitive adhesives and permeation enhancers,including their type and ***,the ginger oil patches were optimized and subjected to content determination and property evaluations.A PTSD mouse model was established using the foot-shock *** therapeutic effect of ginger oil patches on PTSD was assessed through pathological sections,behavioral tests,and the evaluation of biomarkers such as tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF),and melatonin(MT).Results The results demonstrated that ginger oil patches exerted therapeutic effects against PTSD by inhibiting inflammatory responses and modulating MT and BDNF *** experiments revealed that ginger oil patches maintained a stable blood drug concentration for at least one day,addressing the rapid metabolism drawback of 6-gingerol and enhancing its therapeutic *** Ginger oil can be prepared as a transdermal drug patch that meets these requirements,and the bioavailability of the prepared patch is better than that of oral *** can improve PTSD with good patient compliance and ease of ***,it is a promising therapeutic formulation for the treatment of PTSD.

Background:No data exist on the efficacy and safety of anlotinib plus camrelizumab doublet as second-line therapy for advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).Although anlotinib and the programmed death-1(PD1)inhibitor camrelizumab are used as treatments for ESCC,the combined use of anlotinib and camrelizumab as a second-line therapy has not been ***,this study explored the efficacy and toxicity of anlotinib plus camrelizumab as second-line therapy for advanced ***:Fifty-eight patients with advanced ESCC undergoing second-line therapy,either with anlotinib plus camrelizumab or anlotinib plus S-1,were enrolled and retrospectively analyzed at Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December *** primary endpoint was progression-free survival(PFS),with secondary endpoints including the objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),and assessment of ***:In patients with advanced ESCC,the anlotinib plus camrelizumab group(N=32)exhibited longer PFS(8.00 vs.4.53 months,P<0.001),higher ORR(28.1 vs.19.2%,P=0.431),and higher DCR(87.5 vs.65.4%,P=0.045)than those in the anlotinib plus S-1 group(N=26).Treatment-related adverse events(TRAEs)were predominantly grade 1/2 in both groups,with a higher incidence of grade 1/2 skin toxicity in patients treated with anlotinib plus camrelizumab(P=0.033).Two patients(6.3%)developed grade 1/2 immune-related *** incidence of grade 3/4 TRAEs did not differ significantly between the two *** Cox regression analysis identified that the drug regimen(P<0.001),Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status(P=0.008),and differentiation grade(P=0.008)were independent prognostic factors for ***:Anlotinib plus camrelizumab exhibited promising antitumor efficacy and manageable toxicity when used as a second-line treatment for advanced ESCC.

This research presents an innovative approach to accurately predict the nugget diameter in resistance spot welding(RSW)by leveraging machine learning and transfer learning ***,low-fidelity(LF)data were obtained through finite element numerical simulation and design of experiments(DOEs)to train the LF machine learning ***,high-fidelity(HF)data were collected from RSW process experiments and used to fine-tune the LF model by transfer learning *** accuracy and generalization performance of the models were thoroughly *** results demonstrated that combining different fidelity datasets and employing transfer learning could significantly improve the prediction accuracy while minimize the costs associated with experimental trials,and provide an effective and valuable method for predicting critical process parameters in RSW.

The influence of the longitudinal acceleration and the angular acceleration of detecting target based on vortex electromagnetic waves in keyhole space are *** spectrum spreads of different orbital angular momentum(OAM)modes in different non-line-of-sight situations are *** errors of target accelerations in detection are calculated and compared based on the OAM spectra spreading by using two combinations of composite OAM modes in the keyhole *** to the research,the effects about spectrum spreads of higher OAM modes are more *** error in detection is mainly affected by OAM spectrum spreading,which can be reduced by reasonably using different combinations of OAM modes in different practical *** above results provide a reference idea for investigating keyhole effect when vortex electromagnetic wave is used to detect accelerations.
