Afforestation in sandy soils can cause soil acidification and affect Cu and Zn release. The behaviors of Cu and Zn release from contaminated arable sandy soils were investigated in the laboratory with the methods of simulated acidification of the soils. The results showed that soil acidification could change chemical forms of Cu and Zn in the soils, impel the transformation of Cu and Zn from carbonate associated fractions to exchangeable, organic matter and oxides associated fractions, and thus increase the release potential of Cu and Zn in the soils. The effect of the acidification on Zn leaching was more significant than that of Cu. Water solubility of Cu and Zn in the soils was increased with decreasing pH, and the solubility of Cu and Zn was increased exponentially at pH 3.8-4.5, and 6.2-6.5, respectively.

India, with a coastline of over 7,500 km, is known to have engaged in maritime trade from the second half of the first millennium BC. Geophysical surveys conducted off the coast of Bombay, Laccad.v.s, Tranquebar, Kutch, Cambay, Kaveripattinam and.v.sakapatnam have recorded shipwrecks, submerged cities, ports and channels. It is highly probable that the shelf off the Andhra, Kerala, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu coasts, if properly surveyed, will yield not only vestiges of prehistoric man and his tools but also submerged river channels and ports. A preliminary survey of the Gulf of Cambay with side-scan sonar soundings and a sub-bottom profiler revealed unnatural features. Further exploration through dredging brought to light artefacts that bore testimony to human activity.

Particularly Sensitive Sea Areas （PSSA） is an important management tool for protection of marine biod.v.rsity of a marine area. At the time of designation of PSSA, an associated protective measure, which meets the requirements of the appropriate legal instrument establishing such measure, must have been approved or adopted by IMO to prevent, reduce, or eliminate the threat or identified.v.lnerability. Information on each of the PSSA that has been designated by IMO is available on the nautical chart. The vietnam＇s coastal zones and island is an isolated oceanic habitat of extremely rich marine life in very good condition which is important to the maintenance and dispersal of the marine life of the Western Tropical Pacific. vietnam coastal areas are very high risk areas affected by maritime activities, particularly international shipping, therefore in the future identification of some PSSA is necessary.

This paper theoretically studies the impurity states and the effects of impurity concentration and configuration on the optical,electrical,and statistical properties of CdSe nanoplatelets(NPLs).An image charge-based model of electron-impurity interaction is *** charge-carrier energy spectra and corresponding wave functions depending on the impurity number and configuration are *** electron binding energies are calculated for different NPL *** is shown that the image charge-based interaction potential that arises due to the dielectric constants mismatch is much stronger than the interaction potential that does not take such a mismatch into ***,it is demonstrated that the binding energies are increasing with the number of *** calculate the canonical partition function using the energy levels of the electron,which in turn is used to obtain the mean energy,heat capacity,and entropy of the non-interacting electron *** thermodynamic properties of the non-interacting electron gas that depend on the geometric parameters of the NPL,impurity number,configuration,and temperature are studied.

Anomalous ion heat transport is analyzed in the T-10 tokamak plasma heated with electron cyclotron resonance heating(ECRH) in second-harmonic extra-ordinary mode. Predictive modeling with empirical scaling for Ohmical heat conductivity shows that in ECRH plasmas the calculated ion temperature could be overestimated, so an increase of anomalous ion heat transport is required. To study this effect two scans are presented: over the EC resonance position and over the ECRH power. The EC resonance position varies from the high-field side to the low-field side by variation of the toroidal magnetic field. The scan over the heating power is presented with on-axis and mixed ECRH regimes. discharges with high anomalous ion heat transport are obtained in all considered regimes. In these discharges the power balance ion heat conductivity exceeds the neoclassical level by up to 10 times. The high ion heat transport regimes are distinguished by three parameters: the ratio Te/Ti, the normalized electron density gradient R/■, and the ion–ion collisionality νii~*. The combination of high Te/Ti, high νii~*, and R/■=6-10 results in values of normalized anomalous ion heat fluxes up to 10 times higher than in the low transport scenario.

In this study,a calcium-phosphate coating was formed on a Mg-Mn-Ce alloy by the plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO).The antibiotic vancomycin,widely used in the treatment of infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus(***),was impregnated into the *** with vancomycin showed high bactericidal activity against *** mechanical and electrochemical properties of the formed coatings were studied,as well as in vitro cytotoxicity tests and in vivo tests on mature male rats were *** to SEM,EdS,XRd and XPS data,coatings had a d.v.loped morphology and contained hydroxyapatite,which indicates high *** analysis of roughness of coatings without and with vancomycin did not reveal any differences,confirming the high roughness of the *** electrochemical tests,an increase in corrosion resistance by more than two times after the application of PEO coatings was *** to the results of an in vivo study,after 28 days of the implantation of samples with calcium phosphate PEO coating and.v.ncomycin,no signs of inflammation were observed,while an inflammatory reaction d.v.loped in the area of implantation of bare alloy,followed by *** release tests from the coatings show a sharp decrease in the concentration of the released antibiotic on day 7 and then a gradual decrease until day *** the experiment,no significant d.v.ations in the condition and behavior of the animals were observed;clinical tests did not reveal a systemic toxic reaction.

A simple semi-analytical collective model that takes into account the limitations of the variation interval of the collective variable is suggested to describe the chiral dynamics in triaxial odd−odd nuclei with a fixed particle−hole *** collective Hamiltonian is constructed with the potential energy obtained using the postulated ansatz for the wave function symmetric with respect to chiral *** diagonalizing the collective Hamiltonian the wave functions of the lowest states are obtained and the evolution of the energy splitting of the chiral doublets in transition from chiral vibration to chiral rotation regime is demonstrated.
