Image steganography is a technique of concealing confidential information within an image without dramatically changing its outside *** vehicular ad hoc networks(VANETs),which enable vehicles to communicate with one another and with roadside infrastructure to enhance safety and traffic flow provide a range of value-added services,as they are an essential component of modern smart transportation *** steganography has been suggested by many authors for secure,reliable message transfer between terminal/hope to terminal/hope and also to secure it from attack for privacy *** paper aims to determine whether using steganography is possible to improve data security and secrecy in VANET applications and to analyze effective steganography techniques for incorporating data into images while minimizing visual quality *** to simulations in literature and real-world studies,Image steganography proved to be an effectivemethod for secure communication on VANETs,even in difficult network *** this research,we also explore a variety of steganography approaches for vehicular ad-hoc network transportation systems like vector embedding,statistics,spatial domain(sd),transform domain(Td),distortion,masking,and *** study possibly shall help researchers to improve vehicle networks’ability to communicate securely and lay the door for innovative steganography methods.

This work explored possibilities of biodegradable magnesium alloy Mg-3Y preparation by two modern powder metallurgy techniques–spark plasma sintering(sPs)and selective laser melting(sLM).The powder material was consolidated by both methods utilising optimised parameters,which led to very low porosity(∼0.3%)in the sLM material and unmeasurably low porosity in the sPs *** main aim of the study was the thorough microstructure characterisation and interrelation between the microstructure and the functional properties,such as mechanical strength,deformability,and corrosion *** materials showed comparable strength of∼110 MPa in tension and compression and relatively good deformability of∼9%and∼21%for the sLM and sPs materials,*** corrosion resistance of the sPs material in 0.1 M NaCl solution was superior to the sLM one and comparable to the conventional extruded *** digital image correlation during loading and the cross-section analysis of the corrosion layers revealed that the residual porosity and large strained grains have the dominant negative effect on the functional properties of the sLM *** the other hand,one of the primary outcomes of this study is that the sPs consolidation method is very effective in the preparation of the W3 biodegradable alloy,resulting in material with convenient mechanical and degradation properties that might find practical applications.

We revisit the problem of adsorption of a single^(4)He layer on graphene,focusing on the commensurate(C_(1/3))crystalline phase,specifically on whether it may possess a nonzero superfluid response,and on the existence of superfluid phases,either(metastable)liquid or vacancy-doped *** make use of canonical quantum Monte Carlo simulations at zero and finite temperature,based on a realistic microscopic model of the *** results confirm the absence of any superfluid response in the commensurate crystal,and that no thermodynamically stable uniform phase exists at lower *** evidence of a possibly long-lived,metastable superfluid phase at C_(1/3)coverage is ***,the results of ground-state projection methods and finite-temperature simulations are entirely consistent.

In situ inflow and outflow permeability tests with the BAT probe at sarapuíII soft clay test site are presented.A description of the BAT permeability test is provided,discussing its advantages and shortcomings,especially in the case of very soft clays under low *** pressures were monitored during probe installation and were found to be slightly lower than piezocone u2 pore pressures,consistent with the position of the *** role of filter tip saturation was investigated after the usual saturation procedure provided an unsatisfactory pore pressure response during probe *** show that the vacuum saturation procedure provides adequate response during installation and increases the reliability of the coefficient of permeability determination in early *** inflow and outflow tests yielded similar results,indicating that careful execution of the test can lead to good test repeatability regardless of the loading *** sequences of alternated inflow and outflow tests have yielded similar results,indicating that soil reconsolidation and filter clogging were negligible in the tests *** are presented concerning the relationship between index parameters and the in situ coefficient of permeability for sarapuíII clay,which plot outside the range of existing databases.

Maritime transportation, a cornerstone of global trade, faces increasing safety challenges due to growing sea traffic volumes. This study proposes a novel approach to vessel trajectory prediction utilizing Automatic Identification system (AIs) data and advanced deep learning models, including Long short-Term Memory (LsTM), Gated recurrent Unit (GrU), Bidirectional LsTM (dBLsTM), simple recurrent Neural Network (simplerNN), and Kalman Filtering. The research implemented rigorous AIs data preprocessing, encompassing record deduplication, noise elimination, stationary simplification, and removal of insignificant trajectories. Models were trained using key navigational parameters: latitude, longitude, speed, and heading. spatiotemporal aware processing through trajectory segmentation and topological data analysis (TdA)was employed to capture dynamic *** using a three-month AIs dataset demonstrated significant improvements in prediction accuracy. The GrU model exhibited superior performance, achieving training losses of 0.0020 (Mean squared Error, MsE) and 0.0334 (Mean Absolute Error, MAE), with validation losses of 0.0708 (MsE) and 0.1720 (MAE). The LsTM model showed comparable efficacy, with training losses of 0.0011 (MsE) and 0.0258 (MAE), and validation losses of 0.2290 (MsE) and 0.2652 (MAE). Both models demonstrated reductions in training and validation losses, measured by MAE, MsE, Average displacement Error (AdE), and Final displacement Error (FdE). This research underscores the potential of advanced deep learning models in enhancing maritime safety through more accurate trajectory predictions, contributing significantly to the development of robust, intelligent navigation systems for the maritime industry. © 2024 The Authors.
