Steve Pennycook is a pioneer in the application of high-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy(STEM)and in particular the use of annular dark-field(AdF)*** we show how a general framework for 4d STEM allows clear links to be made between AdF imaging and the emerging methods for reconstructing images from 4d STEM data *** show that both AdF imaging and ptychographical reconstruction can be thought of in terms of integrating over the overlap regions of diffracted discs in the detector *** approach allows the similarities in parts of their transfer functions to be understood,though we note that the transfer functions for ptychographic imaging cannot be used as a measure of information *** also show that conditions of partial spatial and temporal coherence affect AdF imaging and ptychography similarly,showing that achromatic interference can always contribute to the image in both cases,leading to a robustness to partial temporal coherence that has enabled high-resolution imaging.

Hydrogenic acceptor binding energy as a function of dot radius in a GaMnAs/Ga_（0.6）Al_（0.4）As quantum dot is calculated including the exchange interaction of Mn alloy content with an itinerant *** are performed by varying its dot radius,for various Mn alloy contents in GaMnAs quantum dot within a single band effective mass approximation using variational *** spin polaronic energy of the acceptor impurity for different Mn^（2＋） is evaluated for different dot radii using a mean field theory in the presence of magnetic field *** magnetization is computed in the influence of magnetic field and the Mn *** effective g-factor of the valence band electron with the inclusion of effects of Mn ion impurities is found in the influence of the magnetic *** exchange coupling constant is calculated for various magnetic field *** results show that the p-d exchange interaction in the GaMnAs/Ga_（0.6）Al_（0.4）As quantum dot has a strong dependence on spatial confinement,effect of magnetic field strength and the Mn alloy *** results are in good agreement with the other investigators.

Peyronie’s disease(Pd)is a condition of penile connective tissue affecting up to 10%of men *** the complexity ofits management,nonsurgical treatments,such as intraplaque injections,are gaining *** current literature shows dataon the efficacy of intraplaque injections of hyaluronic acid(HA)mainly in acute-phase ***,data on injections of HA instable-phase Pd are *** for this retrospective study were derived from a prospectively maintained database of privatepatients presenting at a private medical practice affiliated to the University of Naples“Federico II”(Naples,Italy)with stable-phasePd between January 2020 and March *** underwent a standard protocol of three injections,each administered at atwo-week *** the intervals,patients performed vacuum device therapy,penile stretching,and modeling *** compiled the Peyronie’s disease Questionnaire(PdQ)and Global Assessment of Peyronie’s disease(GAPd)at baselineand 2 weeks after the third injection.A penile doppler ultrasound was performed 2 weeks after the last injection to record thefinal ***,we recruited 62 patients with stable-phase Pd and a mean(±standard deviation[s.d.])curvature of52.7°(±9.7°).After 6 weeks,eight(12.9%)patients did not experience any curvature *** remaining 54 patientshad a final mean(±s.d.)curvature of 40.3°(±9.1°)with Pd to that before *** found improvement inall PdQ domains(all P≤0.01),and 50(80.6%)patients reported subjective improvement of the penile curvature according to *** conclusion,we demonstrated that after three injections of HA administered according to the adopted protocol,patientswith stable-phase Pd could experience significant improvements in penile curvature,and physical and psychological consequencesof the disease without significantly relevant side effects.

ObjectiveTo highlight the role of hyper accuracy three-dimensional(3d)reconstruction in facilitating surgical planning and guiding selective clamping during robot-assisted partial nephrectomy(RAPN).MethodsA transperitoneal RAPN was performed in a 62-year-old male patient presenting with a 4 cm right anterior interpolar renal mass(R.E.N.A.L nephrometry score 7A).An abnormal vasculature was observed,with a single renal vein and two right renal arteries originating superiorly to the vein and anterior,when dividing in their segmental *** to the hyper accuracy 3d(HA3d^(®))rainbow model(MEdICS Srl,Turin,Italy),one branch belonging to one of the segmental arteries was feeding the *** allowed for an accurate prediction of the area vascularized by each arterial *** 3d model was included in the intraoperative console view during the whole procedure,using the TilePro feature.A step-by-step explanation of the procedure is provided in the video attached to the present *** operative time was 90 min with a warm ischemia time on selective clamping of 13 *** blood loss was 180 *** intraoperative complication was encountered and no drain was placed at the end of the *** patient was discharged on postoperative day 2,without any early postoperative *** final pathology report showed a pathological tumor stage 1 clear cell renal cell carcinoma with negative surgical *** present study and the attached video illustrate the value of 3d rainbow model during the planning and execution of a RAPN with selective *** shows how the surgeon can rely on this model to be more efficient by avoiding unnecessary surgical steps,and to safely adopt a“selective”clamping strategy that can translate in minimal functional impact.

In this paper, we first formulate a second-order multiobjective symmetric primal-dual pair over arbitrary cones by introducing two different functions f ： R^n × R^m → Rk and g ： R^n × R^m → R^l in each k-objectives as well as l-constraints. Further, appropriate duality relations are established under second-order（F, α, ρ, d）-convexity assumptions. A nontrivial example which is second-order（F, α, ρ, d）-convex but not secondorder convex/F-convex is also illustrated. Moreover, a second-order minimax mixed integer dual programs is formulated and a duality theorem is established using second-order（F, α, ρ, d）-convexity assumptions. A self duality theorem is also obtained by assuming the functions involved to be skew-symmetric.

Metallo-β-lactamases (MBLs) are a family of Zn2+-dependent enzymes that have contributed strongly to the emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance. Novel members as well as variants of existing members of this family are discovered continuously, compounding their threat to global health care. MBLs are divided into three subgroups, i.e. B1, B2 and B3. The recent discovery of an unusual MBL from Serratia proteamaculans (SPR-1) suggests the presence of an additional subgroup, i.e. B4. A database search reveals that SPR-1 has only one homologue from Cronobacter sakazakii, *** two MBLs have a unique active site and may employ a mechanism distinct from other MBLs, but reminiscent of some organophosphate-degrading hydrolases.
