BACKGROUNd Radiotherapy stands as a promising therapeutic modality for colorectal cancer(CRC);yet,the formidable challenge posed by radio-resistance significantly undermines its efficacy in achieving CRC *** To elucidate the role played by microRNA-298(miR-298)in CRC *** To establish a radio-resistant CRC cell line,HT-29 cells underwent exposure to 5 gray ionizing radiation that was followed by a 7-d recovery *** quantification of miR-298 levels within CRC cells was conducted through quantitative RT-PCR,and protein expression determination was realized through Western *** viability was assessed by 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay and proliferation by clonogenic ***-induced apoptosis was discerned through flow cytometry *** We observed a marked upregulation of miR-298 in radio-resistant CRC ***-298 emerged as a key determinant of cell survival following radiation exposure,as its overexpression led to a notable reduction in radiation-induced ***,miR-298 expression exhibited a strong correlation with CRC cell *** investigation unveiled human dual-specificity tyrosine(Y)-regulated kinase 1A(dYRK1A)as miR-298’s direct *** Taken together,our findings underline the role played by miR-298 in bolstering radio-resistance in CRC cells by means of dYRK1A downregulation,thereby positioning miR-298 as a promising candidate for mitigating radioresistance in CRC.

Effect of mgO-Cr_(2)O_(3) and mg0-mgAl_(2)0_(4)-based refractories on refractory-steel interface reaction and cleanliness of pipeline steel

The interaction of mgO-mgAl_(2)O_(4)-based and mgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractories with X70 molten steel was studied by immersion experiments at 1560℃.The effects of immersion time(30 and 60 min)on the contents of total oxygen(TO),Al,Nb,Si,mn,and Cr as well as the composition,number density,and size distribution of inclusions in the molten steel were *** influence of the penetration and erosion degree of the molten steel to the refractory on the steel-refractory interface layer was *** results show that,at 1560℃,the mgO-mgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory can better control the contents of TO and the composition of molten steel compared with the mgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based *** TO content is only 16×10^(-4) wt.%in the molten steel after reacted with the mg0-mgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory at the end point of refining,4 accounting for 11.5%of that reacted with the mgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractory(139×10^(-4) wt.%).The number density of inclusions is only 14 mm^(-2),and the average size ofinclusions is only 1.31μm,with thelargest proportion of inclusions in 1-2μm(70%).The Al_(2)O_(3)-mnS-CaO complex inclusions in the original steel changed to complex inclusions dominated by Cr-Nb-mn-S-O and ***_(2)O_(3),corresponding to the mgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based and mgO-mgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractories,*** ***_(2)O_(3) layer was formed at the reaction interface between mgO-mgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory and molten steel,which is helpful to restrict the erosion of refractories and the pollution of molten *** damage mechanism of the mgO-Cr_(2)O_(3)-based refractory is mainly permeation and chemical reaction,while the damage of the mgO-mgAl_(2)O_(4)-based refractory is mainlyscouring erosion.

development of metal-organic framework(mOF)films is of great importance to expand their ***,we report a facile and universal method of liquid-phase epitaxial(LPE)layer by layer(LBL)brushing approach for fabricating mOF films on various substrates in a high-throughput *** mOF films preparation method offers a great prospective to cost-effectively construct films with short preparation time and little reagent ***,this LBL brushing approach has been implemented successfully to assemble various mOF films,including HKUST-1,zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8),Cu(bdc),and Cu_(2)(L)_(2)P(L=bdc,ndc,and cam;P=dabco and bipy).Afterwards,the classic mOF HKUST-1 and ZIF-8 films were grown on sensor chip electrode and porous fiber support for good volatile organic compounds(VOCs)selective sensing and water purification *** study demonstrates that this LBL brushing preparation method can be employed to synthesize various mOF films with a variety of characteristics to realize their sensing and separation applications.

Isorhamnetin downregulates mmP2 and mmP9 to Inhibit development of Rheumatoid Arthritis through SRC/ERK/CREB Pathway

Research on the dynamic Compressibility of Polyurethane microcellular Elastomer and its Application for Impact Resistance

The packaging materials with cushioning performance are used to prevent the internal contents from being damaged by the impact and vibration of external *** polyurethane microcellular elastomers(PUmEs)can absorb energy through cell collapse and molecular chain *** this study,PUmEs with different densities were investigated by scanning electron microscopy,dynamic mechanical analysis and dynamic compression *** exhibited significant im pact resistance and the maximum peak stress attenuation ratio reached 73.33%.The protective equipment was made by PUmE with the optimal density of 600 kg/m^(3),and then the acceleration sensing device installed with the same protective equipment fell from a height of 3,5 and 10 m to evaluate the energy-absorbing property and reusability of *** results showed that PUmEs equipment reduced the peak acceleration of the device by 93.84%,with a maximum deviation of 9%between actual test and simulation,and shortened the impact time of first landing by 57.39%.In addition,the equipment PUmEs equipment could effectively reduce the stress on the protected items.

dynamic membrane filtration accelerates electroactive biofilms in bioelectrochemical systems

Bioelectrochemical systems(BES)have emerged as a dual-function technology for treating wastewater and recovering energy.A vital element of BES is the rapid formation and maintenance of electroactive biofilms(EABs).Previous attempts to accelerate EAB formation and improve electroactivities focused on enhancing the bacterial adhesion process while neglecting the rate-limiting step of the bacterial transport ***,we introduce membrane filtration into BES,establishing a dynamic membrane filtration system that enhances overall *** observed that optimal membrane flux considerably reduced the startup time for EAB ***,EABs established under a 25 L m^(-2)h^(-1)flux(EAB_(25)LmH)had a formation time of 43.8±1.3 h,notably faster than the 51.4±1.6 h in the static state(EAB_(0)LmH).Additionally,EAB_(25)LmH exhibited a significant increase in maximum current density,approximately 2.2 times higher than EAB_(0)*** correlation analysis indicated a positive relationship between current densities and biomass quantities and an inverse correlation with startup *** analysis revealed two critical findings:(i)variations in maximum current densities across different filtration conditions were associated with redox-active substances and biomass accumulation,and(ii)the incorporation of a filtration process in EAB formation enhanced the proportion of viable cells and encouraged a more diverse range of electroactive ***,the novel electroactive membrane demonstrated sustained current production and effective solid-liquid separation during prolonged operation,indicating its potential as a viable alternative in membrane-based *** approach not only provides a new operational model for BES but also holds promise for expanding its application in future wastewater treatment solutions.
