Spinal cord injury results in the loss of sensory,motor,and autonomic functions,which almost always produces permanent physical ***,in the search for more effective treatments than those already applied for years,which are not entirely efficient,researches have been able to demonstrate the potential of biological strategies using biomaterials to tissue manufacturing through bioengineering and stem cell therapy as a neuroregenerative approach,seeking to promote neuronal recovery after spinal cord *** of these strategies has been developed and meticulously evaluated in several animal models with the aim of analyzing the potential of interventions for neuronal repair and,consequently,boosting functional *** the majority of experimental research has been conducted in rodents,there is increasing recognition of the importance,and need,of evaluating the safety and efficacy of these interventions in non-human primates before moving to clinical trials involving therapies potentially promising in *** article is a literature review from databases(PubMed,Science direct,Elsevier,Scielo,Redalyc,Cochrane,and NCBI)from 10 years ago to date,using keywords(spinal cord injury,cell therapy,non-human primates,humans,and bioengineering in spinal cord injury).From 110 retrieved articles,after two selection rounds based on inclusion and exclusion criteria,21 articles were ***,this review arises from the need to recognize the experimental therapeutic advances applied in non-human primates and even humans,aimed at deepening these strategies and identifying the advantages and influence of the results on extrapolation for clinical applicability in humans.

Ni^3＋ and Cr^3＋ doped Fe-Mn-Co-Cu-O spinels have been prepared by solid phase sintering. The valence states and distribution of transition ions in the spinel crystals are inferred by the consideration of thermodynamic principle and crystalline field theory. The mierostructure and performance of those are studied by X-ray diffraction （XRd）, Fourier transform infrared （FT-IR）, and IRE-2 infrared radiant instrument. Ni3＋ and Cr3＋ occupy the vacancies or substitute the other ions in the spinel structures and form diverse spinel structures, which exhibit infrared integral emissivities of 0.93 in the whole band, and 0. 94 in the band within 14-25μm too. The content of Fe2O3 and MnO2 in the spinel crystals changes, maybe it induces infrared radiativity of spinels differently.

Tensile tests were performed on iron nanopillars oriented along [001] and [110] directions at a constant temperature of 300 K through molecular dynamics simulations with an embedded-atom interatomic potential for iron. The nanopillars were stretched until yielding to investigate the onset of their plastic deformation behaviors. Yielding was found to occur through two different mechanisms for [001] and [110] tensions. In the former case, plastic deformation is initiated by dislocation nucleation at the edges of the nanopillar, whereas in the latter case by phase transformation inside the nanopillar. The details during the onset of plastic deformation under the two different orientations were analyzed. The varying mechanisms during plastic deformation initiation are bound to influence the mechanical behavior of such nanoscale materials, especially those strongly textured.

Multilayer Cu-Co film has been produced from a single bath by the method of pulse electrodeposition. Its structure and some magnetic properties were analysed by TEM,AES, XRd and VSM. The results indicated that the film was layed structure, consisted of alternating pure copper and copper-cobalt alloy layers. The results have shown the possibility of producing multilayer films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy byelectrodeposition.

Total phosphorus concentrations in surface water of typical agro- and forest ecosystems in China, 2004-2010

The concentrations of total phosphorus （TP） from 83 surface water sampling sites in 29 of the Chinese Ecosystem Research Network （CERN） monitored ecosystems, representing typical agro- and forest ecosystems, were assessed using monitoring data collected between 2004 and 2010 from still and flowing surface water. Results showed that, TP concentrations were significantly higher in agro-ecosystems than those in forest ecosystems both for still and flowing surface water. For agro- ecosystems, TP concentrations in the southern area were significantly higher than those in the northern and north- western areas for both still and flowing surface water, however no distinct spatial pattern was observed for forest ecosystems. In general, the median values of TP within agro- and forest ecosystems did not exceed the Class V guideline for still （0.2mg.L-1） or flowing （0.4mg.L-1） surface water, however, surface water at some agro- ecosystem sampling sites was frequently polluted by TE Elevated concentrations were mainly found in still surface water at the Changshu, Fukang, Linze and Naiman monitored ecosystems, where exceedance （〉 0.2 mg.L-1） frequencies varied from 43% to 78%. For flowing water, elevated TP concentrations were found at the Hailun, Changshu and Shapotou monitored ecosystems, where exceedance （〉 0.4 mg. L-1） frequencies varied from 29% to 100%. Irrational fertilization, frequent irrigation and livestock manure input might be the main contributors of high TP concentrations in these areas, and reduced fertilizer applications, improvements in irrigation practices and centralized treatment of animal waste are necessary to control P loss in these TP vulnerable zones.

The corrosion inhibition for carbon steel in circulating cooling water by modified lignosulphonate has been investigated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique. Results show that the inhibition efficiency of modified lignosulphonate GCL2 is a great improvement on that of lignosulphonate. The maximum inhibition efficiency of GCL2 reaches 99.21% at the concentration of 400mg·L^-1 at 303K. The corrosion inhibition of GCL2 is attributed to forming adsorption film on the metal surface for the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in GCL2 solution shows more than one ***,results also indicate that it is more efficient in stirring solution than in still solution for GCL2 because the constant of adsorption in stirring solution is much larger than that in still solution. The adsorption of inhibitor GCL2 follows Langmuir＇s adsorption isotherm.
