Electrical discharge treatments of synthetic dyeing wastewater were carried out with two different systems： underwater pulsed electrical discharge （UPEd） and underwater dielectric barrier discharge （UdBd）. Reactive Blue 4 （RB4） and Acid Red 4 （AR4） were used as model contaminants for the synthetic wastewater. The performance of the aforementioned systems was compared with respect to the chromaticity removal and the energy requirement. The results showed that the present electrical discharge systems were very effective for degradation of the dyes. The dependences of the dye degradation rate on treatment time, initial dye concentration, electrical energy, and the type of working gas including air, 02, and N2 were examined. The change in the initial dye concentration did not largely affect the degradation of either RB4 or AR4. The energy delivered to the UPEd system was only partially utilized for generating reactive species capable of degrading the dyes, leading to higher energy requirement than the UdBd system. Among the working gases, the best performance was observed with O2. As the degradation proceeded, the concentration of total dissolved solids and the solution conductivity kept increasing while pH showed a decreasing trend, revealing that the dyes were effectively mineralized.

Rotary bending fatigue tests were carried out with two kinds of materials, S43C and S50C, using the front engine and front drive shaft （FF shaft） of vehicle. The specimens were induction hardened about 1.0mm depth from the specimen surface, and the hardness value on the surface was about HRC56-60. The tested environment temperatures were -30, 25 and 80℃ in order to look over effect of the induction hardening and the environmental temperatures on the fatigue characteristics. The fatigue limit of induction hardened specimens increased more about 45% than non-hardened specimens showing that the endurances of S43C and S50C were 98.1 and 107.9MPa in non-hardened samples, 147.1 and 156.9MPa in hardened samplesrespectably. The maximum tensile and compressive stress on the small circular defect was about ＋250 and -450MPa respectively when circular defect is situated on top and bottom. The fatigue life increased 80, 25 and -30℃ in order regardless of hardening. in comparison of the fatigue lives on the basis of tested result at 25℃, the fatigue lives of non-hardened specimens decreased about 35%, but that of hardened specimens decreased about only 5% at 80℃ more than at 25℃. And fatigue life of non-hardened and hardened specimens were about 110% and 120% higher at -30℃ than that of 25℃. Based on the result of stress distribution near the defect, the tensile and compressive stress repeatedly generated by load direction were the largest on the small circular defect due to the stress concentration.

The enhanced carrier flow at the interface between Au and SnO_(2)semiconductors,which initially form Schottky contacts,is realized using chloride-based combustion ***-based combustion sys-tems can achieve chlorine(Cl)doping effects as well as conversion to crystalline SnO_(2)films at clearly lower temperatures(∼250℃)than conventional *** to the Cl doping effect,the high carrier concentration can induce thin potential barriers at the metal/semiconductor(MS)junctions,resulting in carrier injection by *** a result,compared to conventional SnO_(2)thin-film transistors,the de-vices fabricated by combustion synthesis exhibit significantly improved electrical performance with field-effect mobility of 6.52 cm 2/Vs(∼13 times),subthreshold swing of 0.74 V/dec,and on/offratio of∼10^(7)below 300℃.Furthermore,because of the enhanced tunneling carriers induced by the narrowed barrier width,the Schottky barriers are significantly reduced from 0.83 to 0.29 eV(65%decrease)at 250℃and from 0.42 to 0.17 eV(60%decrease)at 400℃.Therefore,chloride-based combustion synthesis can con-tribute to developing SnO_(2)-based electronics and flexible devices by achieving both high-quality oxide films and improved current flow at the MS interface with low-temperature annealing.

Electrically conductive porous structures are ideal candidates for lightweight and absorption-dominant electromagnetic interference(EMi)*** this review,we summarize the recent progress in developing porous composites and structures from emerging two-dimensional(2d)graphene and MXene nanosheets for EMi shielding *** properties contributing to various energy loss mechanisms are probed with a critical discussion on their correlations with EMi shielding *** approaches to constructing bulk porous structures,such as 2d porous films,three-dimensional(3d)aerogels and foams,and hydrogels,are compared to highlight important material and processing parameters required to achieve optimal microstructures.A comprehensive comparison of EMi shielding performance is also carried out to elucidate the effects of different assembly techniques and *** multifunctional applications in adaptive EMi shielding,mechanical force attenuation,thermal management,and wearable devices are introduced,underlining the importance of unique compositions and microstructures of porous *** process–structure–property relationships established in this review would offer valuable guidance and insights into the design of lightweight EMi shielding materials.

in order to improve and stabilize the magnetic properties of nanocomposite Nd2Fe14B/α-Fe magnetic alloys by a compositional adjustment, small amount of dy and/or Co was added to Nd9Fe84B7 alloys. dTA analysis on the amorphous of the alloys took place as the soft magnetic phases were crystallized, and then the hard magnetic Nd2Fe14B was precipitated from them. While α-Fe and a metastable 1:7 (TbCu7-type) phase were formed simultaneously in dy and Co-free alloys, they were crystallized separately at different temperatures after dy or Co was added. This phase separation occurred more clearly in the dy-treated alloys and the other soft magnetic phase Fe3B was also stabilized by dy and/or Co. The 1: 7 phase that was stabilized by dy and/or Co was not eliminated at 700 ℃, decreasing magnetic properties of the alloys. it was eventually disappeared above 725 ℃, but Fe3B was not eliminated even at 750 ℃ when dy was added more than 0.5 at% or Co was added more than 2.0 at%. Amount of Nd2Fe14B in the alloys tended to increase as dy addition increased,whereas Co addition did not lead to any appreciable change in the ratio of α-Fe and Nd2Fe14B. Moreover, dy addition apparently increased coercivity of an alloy while Co addition had a beneficial effect on remanence. The grains in the dytreated alloys were usually finer than those in the Co-treated alloys. The grain size of both α-Fe and Nd2Fe14B in the alloys exhibiting mr ≥ 0.72 was in the range of 20 ～ 40 nm or even larger 50 nm, which is larger than the theoretical optimum size ( ～ 10 nm). Typical magnetic properties obtained from a Nd7.5dy1.5Fe82.5Co1.5B7 alloy annealed for 12 min at 725 ℃were iHc=4.85 kOe, Br= 11.32 kG, (BH)max = 15.73 MGOe, and mr=0.73.

Food processing companies pursue the distribution of ingredientsthat were packaged according to a certain weight. Particularly, foods like fishare highly demanded and supplied. However, despite the high quantity offish to be supplied, most seafood processing companies have yet to installautomation equipment. Such absence of automation equipment for seafoodprocessing incurs a considerable cost regarding labor force, economy, andtime. Moreover, workers responsible for fish processing are exposed to risksbecause fish processing tasks require the use of dangerous tools, such aspower saws or knives. To solve these problems observed in the fish processingfield, this study proposed a fish cutting point prediction method based onAi machine vision and target weight. The proposed method performs threedimensional(3d) modeling of a fish’s form based on image processing techniquesand partitioned random sample consensus (RANSAC) and extracts 3dfeature information. Then, it generates a neural network model for predictingfish cutting points according to the target weight by performing machinelearning of the extracted 3d feature information and measured weight *** study allows for the direct cutting of fish based on cutting pointspredicted by the proposed method. Subsequently, we compared the measuredweight of the cut pieces with the target weight. The comparison result verifiedthat the proposed method showed a mean error rate of approximately 3%.
