A simple Local Boundary integral Equation(LBiE)method for solving the Fisher nonlinear transient diffusion equation in two dimensions(2d)is *** method utilizes,for its meshless implementation,randomly distributed nodal points in the interior domain and nodal points corresponding to a Boundary Element Method(BEM)mesh,at the global *** interpolation of the interior and boundary potentials is accomplished using a Local Radial Basis Functions(LRBF)*** the nodes of global boundary the potentials and their fluxes are treated as independent *** the local boundaries,potential fluxes are avoided by using the Laplacian companion *** gradients are accurately evaluated without RBFs via a LBiE,valid for gradient of *** is treated using the Newton-Raphson *** accuracy of the proposed methodology is demonstrated through representative numerical *** equation is solved here via the LBiE/LRBF method in order to predict cell proliferation during bone *** concentrations and their gradients are numerically evaluated in a 2d model of fractured *** results are demonstrated and discussed.

Non-parasitic splenic cysts: A report of three cases

Primary splenic cyst is a relatively rare disease, and the majority of cases are classified as epithelial cysts. Three cases with nonparasitic splenic cysts are presented: two epithelial and one pseudocyst. All cases had an atypical symptomatology, consisted mainly of fullness in the left upper abdomen and a palpable mass. Preoperative diagnosis was established with ultrasonography and computerized tomography. Two cases with large cysts located in the splenic hilum were treated with open complete splenectomy. The most recent case, a pseudocyst, was managed laparoscopically with partial cystectomy. All cases did not have any problems or recurrence during follow-up. Laparoscopic partial cystectomy is an acceptable procedure for the treatment of splenic cysts, because it cures the disease preserving the splenic tissue. Complete splenectomy is reserved for cases in which cyst excision cannot be done otherwise.

1 引言 1.1薄膜沉积技术把无机薄膜气相母体沉积到固定基体上,是广泛技术应用范围内的一个关键环节.这些技术应用包括制备微电子电路,光记录和磁记录介质,光学器件,以及高性能切割和研磨工具.沉积薄膜的厚度范围从几个纳米(nm),例如量子阱光学器件的活性层,到几十个微米(μm),例如耐磨镀层.生产薄膜时必须能够控制其性质(例如,纯度,组分,厚度,粘附力,晶体结构以及表面形态).此外,沉积不能对基体中已有的微结构有显著的影响.对薄膜的性质的容许限度范围随不同的应用而变,可是,严格的要求是电子和光学材料加工中的特征.在电子和光学材料加工这类应用中,要求的严格程度随集成度的提高、器件尺寸的减小和器件复杂程度的提高等而提高.薄膜厚度的均匀性一般要求很高。

Effects of mycophenolate mofetil vs cyclosporine administration on graft survival and function after islet allotransplantation in diabetic rats

AiM: To develop an experimental model of islet allotransplantation in diabetic rats and to determine the positive or adverse effects of MMF as a single agent. METHOdS: Thirty-six male Wistar rats and 18 male Lewis rats were used as recipients and donors respectively. diabetes was induced by the use of streptozotocin (60 mg/kg) intraperitoneally. Unpurified islets were isolated using the collagenase digestion technique and transplanted into the splenic parenchyma. The recipients were randomly assigned to one of the following three groups: group A (control group) had no immunosuppression; group B received cyclosporine (CsA) (5 mg/kg); group C receivedmycophenolate mofetil (MMF) (20 mg/kg). The animalswere killed on the 12th d. Blood and grafted tissues were obtained for laboratory and histological assessment. RESULTS: Median allograft survival was significantly higher in the two therapy groups than that in the controls (10 and 12 d for CsA and MMF respectively vs 0 d for the control group, P＜0.01). No difference in allograft survival between the CsA and MMF groups was found. However,MMF had less renal and hepatic toxicity and allowed weight ***: Monotherapy with MMF for immunosu ppression was safe in an experimental model of islet allotransplantation and was equally effective with cyclosporine, with less toxicity.
