作为多学科考察的一部分,于1978年和1979年,在德国西南都的乌拉赫(Urach)地热异常区进行了地震折射和反射的联合试验,在十条折射测线和两条反射测线上进行了观测记录,测线的最大长度为20—150km不等。根据现有的地震折射资料,本报告提出一个地壳和地幔顶部详细的速度-深度模型。在所有的剖面上、可观测到一个速度为5.6km/s的、清晰的Pg震相,这是来自结晶基底顶部的折射波,在一些剖面上,Pg震相之后有一个逆进的反射波或一个视速度为6.1km/s的潜波,距炮点50km以外,其相应的正进震相的振幅明显地减小,甚至完全消失。这种现象是由一个平均速度为5.8km/s的低速度区引起的,此低速区的深度范围是8—19km,它沿着与施瓦本汝拉山走向平行的主测线在水平方向上延伸一百多公里,低速区的底面由一组反射震相确定,而这组反射震相的品质随反射界面的倾斜程度而变化,该低速区的西部边界在霍恩佐伦地堑的东北缘附近;向东,在内尔特林根里斯的西侧消失。本地区西南部包含此低速区的地壳结构与东北部迥然不同,其莫霍面是倾斜的一级间断面,在西南部深25km,到东北部深26.5km,在地幔顶部,观测到高速度(≥8.4km/s)和强速度梯度,重力研究结果表明,这个低速区是个高密度区,它可能由液态或气态、或部分熔融物质引起,横波的观测结果也支持这一种解释。

The effects of dietary probiotic supplementation with viable Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens spores on sow performance,immunity,gut functional status and biofilm formation by probiotic bacteria in piglets at weaning were ***-six sows reared in a continuous farrowing system for one full cycle were fed gestation diets during the first 90 d of pregnancy and lactation diets until the end of *** sows were fed a basal diet without probiotics(control;n=48)or a diet supplemented with viable spores(1.1×10^(9)CFU/kg of feed)(probiotic;n=48).At 7 d of age,sucking piglets(n=12/group)were provided prestarter creep feed until weaning at 28 d of *** piglets in the probiotic group were supplemented with the same probiotic and dosage as their *** and colostrum collected from sows and ileal tissues collected from piglets on the day of weaning were used for *** increased the weight of piglets(P=0.077),improved the weaning weight(P=0.039)and increased both the total creep feed consumption(P=0.027)and litter gain(P=0.011).Probiotics also improved the faecal score in the second(P=0.013)week of *** immunoglobulin G(IgG)concentrations in sow blood at farrowing and the IgM concentrations in piglet blood at weaning were higher in the probiotic group than in the control group(P=0.046).The piglets from the probiotic-treated sows showed a higher IgM concentration in the ileal mucosa(P=0.050)and a lower IgG concentration in the ileal mucosa(P=0.021)compared with the piglets from control *** probiotic-treated piglets had a thicker ileal mucosa(P=0.012)due to the presence of longer villi and larger Peyer's patches(Pd *** were detected in the probiotic-treated piglets but not the control piglets;these bacteria were present in the digesta and villus structures and formed structures resembling ***,Bacillus-based probiotic supplementation improves the health indices of sows

Impact of Helicobacter pylori on the healing process of the gastric barrier

AIM To determine the impact of selected well defined Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) antigens on gastric barrier cell *** In this study,using two cellular models of gastric epithelial cells and fibroblasts,we have focused on exploring the effects of well defined H. pylori soluble components such as glycine acid extract antigenic complex(GE),subunit A of urease(Ure A),cytotoxin associated gene A protein(Cag A) and lipopolysaccharide(LPS) on cell turnover by comparing the wound healing capacity of the cells in terms of their proliferative and metabolic activity as well as cell cycle distribution. Toxic effects of H. pylori components have been assessed in an association with damage to cell nuclei and inhibition of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3) phosphorylation. RESULTS We showed that H. pylori GE,Cag A and Ure A promoted regeneration of epithelial cells and fibroblasts,which is necessary for effective tissue healing. However,in vivo increased proliferative activity of these cells may constitute an increased risk of gastric neoplasia. In contrast,H. pylori LPS showed a dose-dependent influence on the process of wound healing. At a low concentration(1 ng/m L) H. pylori LPS accelerated of healing epithelial cells,which was linked to significantly enhanced cell proliferation and MTT reduction as well as lack of alterations in cell cycle and downregulation of epidermal growth factor(EGF) production as well as cell nuclei destruction. By comparison,H. pylori LPS at a high concentration(25 ng/m L) inhibited the process of wound repair,which was related to diminished proliferative activity of the cells,cell cycle arrest,destruction of cell nuclei and downregulation of the EGF/STAT3 signalling *** In vivo H. pylori LPS driven effects might lead to the maintenance of chronic inflammatory response and pathological disorders on the level of the gastric mucosal barrier.

Background. Sarcoidosis is a multisystem disease and can be confused with benign or malignant tumors. In patients with recurrent gynecologic cancer, liver and intrathoracic lesions should undergo a biopsy to rule in metastatic malignancy, as clinical findings and CAT scan results may represent other disease processes. Case. A 67 year old woman had a total abdominal hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, pelvic and periaortic lymphadenectomy, and peritoneal cytology in 2001 for Stage I B grade 1 adenocarcinoma of the endometrium. She developed a vaginal recurrence in 2005. A CT scan of lungs, abdomen, and pelvis revealed extensive mediastinal adenopathy and multiple space occupying hepatic lesions worrisome for metastatic disease. A needle biopsy of the largest liver lesion revealed sarcoidosis. Conclusion. Sarcoid lesions may mimic metastatic disease in patients with malignancy, potentially leading to delayed and/or inappropriate therapy.
