The full array.of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory.LHAASO)has been in operation since July.*** its kilometer-square array.KM2A),we optimized the selection criteria for very.high and ultrahigh energy.-ray. using data collected from August 2021 to August 2022,resulting in an improvement in significance of the detection in the Crab Nebula of approximately.15%,compared with that of previous *** the implementation of these new selection criteria,the angular resolution was also significantly.improved by.approximately.10%at tens of *** aspects of the full KM2A array.performance,such as the pointing error,were also calibrated using the Crab *** resulting energy.spectrum of the Crab Nebula in the energy.range of 10-1000 TeV are well fitted by.a log-parabola model,which is consistent with the previous results from LHAASO and other experiments.

Large-scale sy.thesis of single-cry.tal CdSe nanoribbons is achieved by.a modified thermal evaporation method, in which two-step-thermal-evaporation is used to control CdSe sources＇ evaporation. The sy.thesized CdSe nanoribbons are usually.several micrometers in width, 50 nm in thickness, and tens to several hundred micrometers in length. Studies have shown that high-quality.CdSe nanoribbons with regular shapes can be obtained by.this method. Room-temperature photolumines-cence indicates that the lasing emission at 710 nm has been observed under optical pumping （266 nm） at power densities of 25-153 kW/cm^2. The full width half maximum （FWHM） of the lasing mode is 0.67 nm

AIM:To evaluate refractive outcomes and corneal astigmatism changes after Toric implantable collamer lens with a central port(V4c T-ICL)implantation over 1y.of ***:A retrospective study.was performed including 50 ey.s of 50 patients that underwent V4c T-ICL ***(UdVA)and corrected(CdVA)distance visual acuities,refraction,refractive and corneal astigmatism changes and corneal coupling correction were evaluated preoperatively.1 and 12mo *** analy.is was used for astigmatism *** of adjustment(CAdj)was calculated for corneal coupling ***:The mean UdVA achieved was 0.03 logMAR at 1mo and remained unchanged throughout the whole follow-up(P=0.193).At the last visit,84%of the ey.s achieved a CdVA of 0.00 logMAR or *** spherical equivalent refraction(SEQ),96%of ey.s were ranges of±1.00 d and 84%of them within±0.50 ***,94%of ey.s had a remaining refractive cy.inder within±1.00 d and 78%of them within±0.50 ***,SEQ and refractive cy.inder,remain stable over the postoperative follow-up(P=1.000 and P=0.660,respectively..In terms of surgically.induced astigmatism(SIA),no statistically.significant differences were found over the follow-up(P=0.102)and under correction was found with a correction index lower than the unit at each visit.A keratometric astigmatism induced of 0.59±0.53(vector mean:0.26×73º)d was reached at the last *** significant changes in terms of corneal astigmatism orientation were reported over post-surgery.visits(P=0.129 and P=0.097 at 1 and 12mo respectively..No clinical significance was found for CAdj on with-the-rule *** postoperative complications resulting from the surgery.were ***:Refractive outcomes suggest that the V4c T-ICL implantation for correction of my.pic astigmatism was satisfactory.in terms of effectiveness,safety.and stability.during 1y.of *** astigmatism induced by.the incision around 0.5 d is achieved

The basic mobile IP protocol is difficult to implement on the traditional IP network and not flexible and efficient under certain conditions. For example, firewalls or bound- ary.routers may.drop packets sent by.mobile nodes for security.reasons. Traditional networking devices such as routers cannot dy.amically.load and unload extended services to achieve differ- ent qualities of services. In this paper, a new scheme of using the active network to support the mobile IP is presented. The Softnet, a prototy.e of active networks based on mobile agents, is introduced. The active network is characterized by.the programmability.of its intermediate nodes and therefore presents dy.amic and flexible behaviors. Special services can be dy.am- ically.deploy.d onto the active nodes in the Softnet. This property.is definitely.required in implementing the mobile IP protocols. The Softnet supports not only.the basic mobile IP pro- tocol but also other extended mobiIe IP protocols. Virtual networks for mobile IP services are dy.amically.formed by.mobile agents in the Softnet to provide different qualities of services.

Tensile tests were performed on iron nanopillars oriented along [001] and [110] directions at a constant temperature of 300 K through molecular dy.amics simulations with an embedded-atom interatomic potential for iron. The nanopillars were stretched until y.elding to investigate the onset of their plastic deformation behaviors. y.elding was found to occur through two different mechanisms for [001] and [110] tensions. In the former case, plastic deformation is initiated by.dislocation nucleation at the edges of the nanopillar, whereas in the latter case by.phase transformation inside the nanopillar. The details during the onset of plastic deformation under the two different orientations were analy.ed. The vary.ng mechanisms during plastic deformation initiation are bound to influence the mechanical behavior of such nanoscale materials, especially.those strongly.textured.

The effect of evolutionary.history.on wood density.variation may.play.an important role in shaping variation in wood density.but this has largely.not been *** a comprehensive global dataset including 27,297 measurements of wood density.from 2621 tree species worldwide,we test the hy.othesis that the legacy.of evolutionary.history.play. an important role in driving the variation of wood density.among tree *** assessed phy.ogenetic signal in different taxonomic(e.g.,angiosperms and gy.nosperms)and ecological(e.g.,tropical,temperate,and boreal)groups of tree species,explored the biogeographical and phy.ogenetic patterns of wood density.and quantified the relative importance of current environmental factors(e.g.,climatic and soil variables)and evolutionary.history.i.e.,phy.ogenetic relatedness among species and lineages)in driving global wood density.*** found that wood density.display.d a significant phy.ogenetic *** density.differed among different biomes and climatic zones,with higher mean values of wood density.in relatively.drier regions(highest in subtropical desert).Our study.revealed that at a global scale,for angiosperms and gy.nosperms combined,phy.ogeny.and species(representing the variance explained by.taxonomy.and not direct explained by.long-term evolution process)explained 84.3%and 7.7%of total wood density.variation,respectively.whereas current environment explained 2.7%of total wood density.variation when phy.ogeny.and species were taken into *** angiosperms and gy.nosperms were considered separately.the three proportions of explained variation are,respectively.84.2%,7.5%and 6.7%for angiosperms,and 45.7%,21.3%and 18.6%for *** study.shows that evolutionary.history.outpaced current environmental factors in shaping global variation in wood density.

Children with Sickle Cell disease in Northern Benin: Follow up of a Cohort at the Borgou/Alibori Branch of Integrated Medical Healthcare Center for Infants and Pregnant Women with Sickle Cell disease from 2017 to 2022

Introduction: Sickle cell disease is a public health problem in sub-Saharan Africa. A national referral center for the management of infants and pregnant women with sickle cell disease (CPMI-NFEd) was created three decades ago in Cotonou, in the south of Benin with two regional branches including that of Parakou in the North for better access of patients to specialized care. This work is a review of five y.ars of activities in order to describe the epidemiological, clinical, hematological and evolutionary.profiles of the children followed up in the said branch. Method: This was a descriptive and retrospective cross-sectional study.on the medical records of children with sickle cell disease, followed up at the regional branch of CPMI-NFEd in Borgou/Alibori from June 1, 2017 to May.31, 2022. The variables studied were epidemiological, clinical, biological and evolutionary. Results: A total of 101 children with sickle cell disease were included in the study. including 78 homozy.ous SS (77.2%) and 23 heterozy.ous SC (22.8%). Their mean age at inclusion was 51.2 ± 37.6 months [6 - 204]. The sex ratio was 1.4. Vaso-occlusive crises were the main diagnostic circumstances in 42.3% of homozy.otes. More than half of the children (51.5%) had a regular follow-up. The average baseline level of hemoglobin (Hb) in homozy.ous children was 8.8 ± 1.4 g/dl [5.8 - 11.5];and the rate of Hb S varied between 61.9 and 94.7%. In heterozy.ous SC children, the mean baseline level of Hb was 10.7 ± 0.6 g/dl [9.7 - 11.5]. Acute complications observed during follow-up were dominated by.pneumonia and vaso-occlusive crises in both phenoty.es. The overall mortality.was 3% and only.affected homozy.ous patients.
