A critical challenge hindering the practical application of lithium–oxygen batteries(LOBs)is the inevitable problems associated with liquid electrolytes,such as evaporation and safety *** study addresses these problems by proposing a modified polyrotaxane(mPR)-based solid polymer electrolyte(SPE)design that simultaneously mitigates solvent-related problems and improves ***-SPE exhibits high ion conductivity(2.8×10^(−3)S cm^(−1)at 25℃)through aligned ion conduction pathways and provides electrode protection ability through hydrophobic chain *** this mPR-SPE into solid-state LOBs resulted in stable potentials over 300 *** situ Raman spectroscopy reveals the presence of an LiO_(2)intermediate alongside Li_(2)O_(2)during oxygen *** situ X-ray diffraction confirm the ability of the SPE to hinder the permeation of oxygen and moisture,as demonstrated by the air permeability *** present study suggests that maintaining a low residual solvent while achieving high ionic conductivity is crucial for restricting the sub-reactions of solid-state LOBs.

Mechanically durable transparent electrodes are essential for achieving long-term stability in flexible optoelectronic ***,they are crucial for applications in the fields of energy,display,healthcare,and soft *** meshes represent a promising alternative to traditional,brittle,metal oxide conductors due to their high electrical conductivity,optical transparency,and enhanced mechanical *** this paper,we present a simple method for fabricating an ultra-transparent conducting metal oxide mesh electrode using selfcracking-assisted *** this method,we produced an electrode with ultra-transparency(97.39%),high conductance(Rs=21.24Ωsq^(−1)),elevated work function(5.16 eV),and good mechanical *** also evaluated the effectiveness of the fabricated electrodes by integrating them into organic photovoltaics,organic light-emitting diodes,and flexible transparent memristor devices for neuromorphic computing,resulting in exceptional device *** addition,the unique porous structure of the vanadium-doped indium zinc oxide mesh electrodes provided excellent flexibility,rendering them a promising option for application in flexible optoelectronics.

To investigate the possibility of substituting the mechanical stirring system with electromagnetic stirring (EMS) system for aluminum rheo die-casting, the EMS under the different stirring cooling conditions was carried out. It was found that in the early period of solidification, the dendrite breakages led to a fine primary phase. When dendrites grew coarsely, the effect of ripening on grain size overwhelmed that of dendrite breakage. It was also found that the high cooling rate favored large nucleation rate, and led to a fine primary phase. But high cooling rate also made the growth rate of the dendrite arm, which prevented the dendrite arm from being sheared off. Therefore there were a suitable stirring time and suitable cooling rate to obtain the best rheo die-casting structure. Qualified semisolid A356 aluminum alloy was successfully manufactured with short time EMS.

BAcKGROUNd Fluoropyrimidines are metabolized in the liver by the enzyme dihydropyrimidine dehydrogenase(dPd),encoded by the dPYd *** 7%of the European population is a carrier of dPYd gene polymorphisms associated with reduced dPd enzyme *** To assess the prevalence of dPYd polymorphisms and their impact on fluoropyrimidine tolerability in Italian patients with gastrointestinal *** A total of 300 consecutive patients with a diagnosis of gastrointestinal malignancy and treated with a fluoropyrimidine-based regimen were included in the analysis and divided into two cohorts:(1)149 patients who started fluoropyrimidines after dPYd testing;and(2)151 patients treated without dPYd *** the patients in cohort A,15%tested only the dPYd2A polymorphism,19%tested four polymorphisms(dPYd2A,HapB3,c.2846A>T,and dPYd13),and 66%tested five polymorphisms including *** Overall,14.8%of patients were found to be carriers of a dPYd variant,the most common being dPYd6(12.1%).Patients in cohort A reported≥G3 toxicities(P=0.00098),particularly fewer nonhematological toxicities(P=0.0028)compared with cohort B,whereas there was no statistically significant difference between the two cohorts in hematological toxicities(P=0.6944).Significantly fewer chemotherapy dose reductions(P=0.00002)were observed in cohort A compared to cohort B,whereas there was no statistically significant differences in chemotherapy *** Although this study had a limited sample size,it provides additional information on the prevalence of dPYd polymorphisms in the Italian population and highlights the role of pharmacogenetic testing to prevent severe toxicity.

curved steel bridges are commonly used at interchanges in transportation networks and more of these structures continue to be designed and built in the United States. Though the use of these bridges continues to increase in locations that experience high seismicity, the effects of curvature and other parameters on their seismic behaviors have been neglected in current risk assessment tools. These tools can evaluate the seismic vulnerability of a transportation network using fragility curves. One critical component of fragility curve development for curved steel bridges is the completion of sensitivity analyses that help identify influential parameters related to their seismic response. In this study, an accessible inventory of existing curved steel girder bridges located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic United States （MAUS） was used to establish statistical characteristics used as inputs for a seismic sensitivity study. critical seismic response quantities were captured using 3d nonlinear finite element models. Influential parameters from these quantities were identified using statistical tools that incorporate experimental Plackett-Burman design （PBd）, which included Pareto optimal plots and prediction profiler techniques. The findings revealed that the potential variation in the influential parameters included number of spans, radius of curvature, maximum span length, girder spacing, and cross-frame spacing. These parameters showed varying levels of influence on the critical bridge response.

In order to obtain ultrafine Nd-Fe-B powder, a spray-dried precursor was treated by reduction-diffusion (R/d) process. And, unlike the conventional R/d process, calcium reduction that is a crucial step for the formation of Nd2Fe14B was performed without conglomerating the precursor with ca powder. By adopting this modified process, it is possible to synthesize the hard magnetic Nd2Fe14B at the reaction temperature as low as 850 ℃. The average size of Nd2Fe14B particles that are uniformly distributed in the optimally treated powder was d2Fe14B particles were enclosed with thin layers of Nd-rich phase. Typical magnetic properties of such powder without eliminating impurity caO were iHc=～5.9 kOe, Br=～5.5 kG, and (BH)max=～6 MGOe.

Nb-based, perovskite-type oxynitrides ANb(O,N)_(3)(A = Sr, Ba) have been significantly attractive semiconductor materials for photoelectrochemical(PEc) water splitting due to their absorption abilities of intensive-visible-light. However, PEc activities of these perovskites are relatively low due to reduction of Nb species during nitridation leading to the generation of anion defects and impurity ***, we propose nitridation of A-rich, layered perovskite A_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15) as starting oxides for general synthesis of photoactive ANbO_(2)N. These layered perovskite A_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15) were completely transformed to single phase perovskite-type ANbO_(2)N by nitridation. Wavelength onsets of light absorption were observed at 700 nm for SrNbO_(2)N and at 740 nm for BaNbO_(2)N. According to X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results,excess Lewis base A species significantly suppressed the generation of reduced species such as Nb^(4+) and Nb^(3+)during nitridation, although it led to an amorphous surface of the as-prepared *** annealing in Ar largely enhanced surface crystallinity of ANbO_(2)N. As a result, co(OH)_(x)/ANbO_(2)N/FTO photoanodes, prepared by loading co(OH)_(x) electrocatalyst, showed high photocurrent density of 1.6(A = Sr) and 2.4 m A cm^(-2)(A = Ba) at 1.23 VRHEunder AM 1.5 G simulated sunlight. These results demonstrate that A-rich layered perovskite A_(5)Nb_(4)O_(15)are effective starting precursors for preparing lowdefective ANbO_(2)N, thus improving PEc water splitting activity.
