在空间数据(包括数字高程模型和景观类型图)的支持下,采用景观可视化软件VisualNatureStudio(VNS)2.0对岷江上游杂谷脑流域的景观进行了可视化研究,研究结果比较直观地再现了该流域主要的景观类型,包括林地、灌木、果园、草地和耕地,为流域的管理提供了一种全新的管理工具;并阐明了景观可视化研究未来的发展趋势,对我国开展这方面的研究具有一定的指导意义。

Single crystal MoO_3 nanowires were produced using the electrospinning *** resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) revealed that the 1-d nanostructures are 10nm in diameter,on the order of 1μm～2μm in length, and have an orthorhombic *** has been demonstrated that a nano-network of MoO_3 nanowires exhibits higher sensitivity and an n-type response to NH_3 as compared to the response of a traditional sol-gel *** structure,crystallinity, and sensoric nature of these single-step processed nanowires are discussed.

In this paper,we summarise the outcome of a set of experiments aimed at classifying cattle behaviour based on sensor *** animal carried sensors generating time series accelerometer data placed on a collar on the neck at the back of the head,on a halter positioned at the side of the head behind the mouth,or on the ear using a *** purpose of the study was to determine how sensor data from different placement can classify a range of typical cattle *** were collected and animal behaviours(grazing,standing or ruminating)were observed over a common time *** features were computed from the sensor data and machine learning algorithms were trained to classify each *** accuracies were computed on separate independent test *** analysis based on behaviour classification experiments revealed that different sensor placement can achieve good classification accuracy if the feature space(representing motion patterns)between the training and test animal is *** paper will discuss these analyses in detail and can act as a guide for future studies.

Nuclear nonproliferation is of critical importance for global *** fissile materials including highly enriched uranium and weapons-grade plutonium are especially important to *** interrogation techniques may result in much better sensitivity but are difficult with conventional portal monitors that rely on detecting thermal ***,most conventional portal monitoring systems rely on ^(3)He,which has a finite and continually decreasing *** designing a highly segmented array of organic scintillators,we posit that we can accurately and quickly identify fissile materials,including weapons-grade plutonium and highly enriched uranium,being *** propose a new design for a fast-neutron detector that overcomes the limitations of the current generation of portal ***6 simulations have been performed in conjunction with the UMPBT statistical model to determine the sensitivity limitations of the proposed *** suggest that the proposed detector may be 10 times more efficient than current-generation thermal neutron detectors and may be able to positively identify a 81 mg 235U source in as little as 192 seconds utilizing active interrogation techniques.

Virtual Australia is not a well-defined or agreed *** discussion paper conceptualises Virtual Australia as a‘virtual[digital]model containing and representing all non-trivial objects and their contextual environmentfrom blue sky to bedrockin real world Australia’.It describes a scenario for Virtual Australia,one or two decades from now,in which the locations and conditions of non-trivial objects and their environment are updated automatically through a combination of remote sensing and wireless communication technologies in support of a‘Supranet’.It then examines the concept of the‘Supranet’a pervasive information network based largely on wireless technology linking the physical world to a virtual model in real timeand develops and discusses three principal characteristics of the Supranet:the ability to have or collect specific information(know);the ability to process information(think);and the ability to communicate that ***,in the near future,any or all non-trivial devices are to some extent able to know,think and communicate,the potential for object autonomy will be realised.
