Flotation behavior and electronic simulations of rare earth minerals in the presence of dolomite supernatant using sodium oleate collector

Common rare earth (RE) minerals, such as bastnasite and monazite, may be formed in deposits associated with carbonate gangue, such as calcite and dolomite. Sodium oleate is a widely used collector for the flotation of both RE and gangue minerals, which might, therefore, be an inefficient process due to the lack of selectivity of this collector. Since these minerals are also sparingly soluble in solution, they could release their constituent ions into the solution, which could affect the floatability of other minerals. In this study, the interactions of sodium oleate with bastn(a|¨)site and monazite in the presence of dissolved dolomite species have been investigated. Micro flotation tests were carried out to explore the effects of these dissolved species on the floatability of the RE minerals. Zeta potential measurements and XPS characterization were carried out to understand how the species affect the collector adsorption. To complement these characterizations, density functional theory (dFT) simulations were conducted to investigate the collector-mineral and collector-adsorbed species (on the mineral surface) interactions.The results show that collector-dolomite interaction energy is greater than that of collector-adsorbed species, but lower than collector-monazite interaction energy, explaining the decrease in the minerals’recovery upon exposure to the dissolved mineral species. It is also shown that oleate ions (OI^-) have the strongest interaction with the minerals compared to other oleate species such as acid soap (HOI_2^-) and oleate dimer (Ol_2^(2-)). The behavior (strength and selectivity) of sodium oleate towards RE minerals and dolomite, as compared to other RE mineral collectors (such as aromatic hydroxamate), is attributed mainly to the collector's and the minerals'structure. The long hydrocarbon chain of sodium oleate which imparts hydrophobic characteristic to the minerals, makes it stronger collector than benzohydroxamate.Moreover, sodium oleate (with linear structure), unlike the aromatic hydroxa

目的本研究旨在确定基于自我调节常识模型(Common-Sense Model of Self-regulation)的健康教育对高血压患者的血压和自我管理的影响。方法本研究为随机对照临床试验,于2021年4月至2022年3月选取72例转诊到伊朗哈马丹省法尔希奇扬医院门诊的高血压患者为研究对象,随机分为干预组(n=36)和对照组(n=36)。干预组患者接受基于自我调节常识模型的培训项目,为期1个月,共5次,每次30~45 min,每3 d进行1次电话随访。对照组接受常规健康教育。在干预前、干预后3个月,护士测量患者血压,采用自我管理问卷对患者进行调查,比较两组的干预效果。结果共有68例患者完成研究。在干预前,两组患者的自我管理得分及其维度得分、收缩压、舒张压和平均动脉压差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。干预后3个月,与对照组相比,干预组患者的收缩压[(116.21±14.52)mmHg比(128.62±16.88)mmHg,1 mmHg=0.133 kPa]和平均动脉压[(88.03±8.47)mmHg比(98.11±11.69)mmHg]水平下降,自我管理问卷总得分及其各维度得分均提高,且高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论基于自我调节常识模型的健康教育改善了高血压患者的自我管理水平,患者血压得到控制,护士可将其作为一种有效的健康教育模式。

Molecular detection of Leishmania isolated from Cutaneous leishmaniasis patients in Jask County,Hormozgan Province,Southern Iran,2008

Objective:To investigate on patients leishmanial infections in Jask County.Methods: Impression smears were prepared from patients in 2008,all,were chequed for leishmanial infection by microscopy and molecular assays.Whole d.NA was extracted using Proteinase K and Phenol/Chloroform/Isoamyl alcohol method.The variable segment on minicircles of kineloplasl dIVA was amplified via a Nested-PCR technique using species-specific primers(LIN R4-LIN 17 -Lin 19).Results:A total of 40 smears were prepared from 20 patients,from which,eight samples (40%) were positive for leishman body by microscopic method,while,18 samples(90%) were positive,molecularly.The parasite was identified as Leishmania major(L major).Conclusions: Zoonotic or Rural cutaneous leishmaniasis is endemic in Jask County whose pathogen is L major.Molecular assays using specific primers are very accurate and more sensitive and specific than microscopy which is time consuming and needs master mieroscopists.

Tsallis holographic dark energy under complex form of quintessence model

In this paper,we use a Tsallis holographic dark energy model in two forms,interacting and noninteracting cases,to acquire some parameters as the equation of state for the energy density of the Tsallis model in the FRW Universe concerning the complex form of quintessence model.We will study the cosmology of complex quintessence by revamping the potential and investigating the scalar field dynamics.Then we analyze(w-w’)and stability in two cases,i.***.noninteracting and interacting.We will explore whether these cases describe a real Universe by calculating fractional energy densityΩ_(d)and concerning two parts of the quintessence field effect(complex and real part)by considering the real part of this field to be a slow-roll field.We know that the part in which the fractional energy density(Ω_(d)>1)does not describe a real Universe.Also,we specified an interacting coupling parameter b2that depends on the constant parameter of the Tsallis holographic model(δ)with respect to fractional energy density(0.73).Unlike independence between the fractional energy density and interacting coupling in the real quintessence model,we determine a relationship among these parameters in this theory.Finally,by plotting some figures,we specify the features of(w-w’)and(ν^(2)_(s))in two cases and compare the result with each other.

Investigation of Poly(ether-b-amide)/Nanosilica Membranes for CO_2/CH_4 Separation

The results of molecular dynamics （Md） simulations on transport process of CO2 and CH4 gases in poly（ether-b- amide）（PEBAX）/nanosilica membranes are discussed. The diffusion coefficients for CH4 and CO2 gases at 6 cases with different amounts of nanosilica loading in the simulation boxes are presented. The results show that diffusion coefficients for CO2 gas in all cases are larger than those for the CH4 one. Moreover 10% nanosilica loading case shows maximum effects on diffusion coefficients and improves them by more than 68% and 157% for CO2 and CH4 gases, respectively. Additionally, the results of 3-d Cartesian trajectories and displacements curves are presented and the jumping attempt of CO2 is significantly more than that of CH4. due to the rubbery state of PEBAX membranes in ambient temperature, the results confirm that channel lifetimes are very short and then back diffusion is not observed for this polymer.

The investigation of electrodeposited Cu_2O/ITO layers by chronocoulometry process:effect of electrical potential

The thin films of Cu2O are deposited by electrodeposition technique onto indium tin oxide（ITO）-coated glass substrate at different potentials. The precursor is an aqueous solution which contains respectively 0.05 M of CuSO4 and citric acid at kept temperature of 60℃ and the applied potential varies within the {-0：4 V,-0：7 V}SCE range. Based on the chronocoulometry（CC） process, the electrochemical, structural and optical parameters are determined. We measured the current as function of potential within the {-0：4 V,-0：7 V} range and the higher current is found to be within the {-0：7 V,-0：3 V} band. The grain sizes are of 12.12 nm and 35.47 nm according to（110） and（221） orientations respectively. The high textural coefficient of 0.943 is recorded for the potential -0：7 V.The transmittance of 72.25 %, within the visible band, is obtained for the as-grown layer at -0：4 V and the band gap is found to be 2.2 e V for the electrodeposition potential of -0：7 V.

Prospective study of total and various types of vegetables and the risk of metabolic syndrome among children and adolescents

BACKGROUNd data available on the association between consumption of various types of vegetables and metabolic syndrome (MetS) remain inconsistent. AIM To investigate the association between the intake of various types of vegetables and MetS among children and adolescents and MetS. METHOdS The Tehran Lipid and Glucose Study cohort included 424 children and adolescents initially free of MetS. At the 3.6 year follow-up, 47 new cases of MetS were identified. A 168-item semi-quantitative food-frequency questionnaire was used to collect information about total and various types of vegetables consumed, including allium-, green leafy-, fruity-, root-, stalk-, starchy-, potatoes, and cabbage. MetS was defined according to the Cook et al[32] criteria. RESULTS The median (interquartile range) of total vegetable consumption was 217 (146- 344) g/d. After adjustment for demographic characteristics and dietary intake, higher total-(≥ 350 g/d) and higher allium vegetable consumption (≥ 30 g/d) in the fourth quartile were significantly and inversely associated with risk of MetS compared to the first quartile. Consumption of green leafy vegetables in the third (21.4-38.3 g/d) versus the first quartile (≤ 13.5 g/d) demonstrated a significant inverse association with lower risk of MetS in children and adolescents;associations for other types of vegetables consumed were not significant. CONCLUSION Consumption of vegetables, especially allium and green leafy vegetables, in sufficient amounts may be beneficial in reducing the risk of MetS among children and adolescents.

Microencapsulation of neroline inside microcapsules having a polyurethane shell based onβ-cyclodextrin(β-Cd)and hexane diisocyanate was performed by interfacial polycondensation.The polyol nature ofβ-Cd caused tight crosslinking of microcapsules wall.Microcapsules of neroline were characterized for their chemical composition and structure of the polyurethane shell by FTIR spectroscopy,thermogravimetric analysis,optical and electron microscopy,light scattering and electrophoresis measurements.Core content and encapsulation yield were 15%and 60%,respectively.Spherical microcapsules of mean diameter 29μm were slightly cationic with an isoelectric point of 6.3.Neroline-loaded microcapsules were fixed on cotton fabric using an impregnation technique.The functionalized fabric showed improved resistance to washing cycles in comparison with previously reported diol-based microcapsules.Such microcapsules display great potential for the long-lasting release of fragrance in the framework of cosmetotextile.

A Compact dual-Port Multi-Band Rectifier Circuit for RF Energy Harvesting

This paper presents a compact multi-band rectifier with an improved impedance matching bandwidth.It uses a combination of–matching network(MN)at Port-1,with a parallel connection of three cell branch MN at Port-2.The proposed impedance matching network(IMN)is adopted to reduce circuit complexity,to improve circuit performance,and power conversion efficiency(PCE)of the rectifier at low input power.The fabricated rectifier prototype operates at 0.92,1.82,2.1,2.46 and 2.65 GHz covering GSM/900,GSM/1800,UMTS2100,and Wi-Fi/2.45–LTE2600.The size of the compact rectifier on the PCB board is 0.13λ_(g)×0.1λ_(g).The fabricated rectifier achieved an RF-to dC(radio frequency direct current)PCE of 31.8%,24%,22.7%,and 15%,and 14.1%for−20 dBm at the five respective measured operating frequencies.The circuit attains a peak RF-to-dC PCE of 82.3%for an input power of 3 dBm at 0.92 GHz.The proposed rectifier realizes an ambient output dc voltage of 454 mV for multi-tone input signals from the two ports.The rectifier drives a bq25504-674 power management module(PMM)to achieve 1.21 V from the two-port connection.The rectifier has the ability to exploit both frequency domain through the multi-band operation with good impedance bandwidth and a spatial domain using dual-port configuration.Hence,it is a potential candidate for various applications in radio frequency energy harvesting(RFEH)system.

A family of double-beauty tetraquarks:Axial-vector state T^-bb;us^-

The spectroscopic parameters and decay channels of the axial-vector tetraquark Tho(in what follows,TAV)are explored using the quantum chromodynamics(QCd)sum rule method.The mass and coupling of this state are calculated using two-point sum rules by taking into account various vacuum condensates,up to 10 dimensions.Our prediction for the mass of this state m=(10215±250)MeV confirms that it is stable with respect to strong and electromagnetic decays and can dissociate to conventional mesons only via weak transformations.We investigate the dominant semileptonic■and nonleptonic T AV b:s^-→v10 b:s^-M decays of T AV b:s^-.In these processes,Z-b:s^-is a scalar tetraquark[be][us^-]built of a colo-triplet diquark and an antidiquark,whereas M is one of the vector mesonsρ^-,K^*(892),d^*(2010)^-,and d^*s-.To caleulate the partial w idths of these decays,we use the QCd three-point sum rule approach and evaluate the weak transition form factors Gi(i=0,1,2,3),which govem these processes.The full widthΓfull=(12.9±2.1)×10^-8 MeV and the mean lifetimeτ=5.1+0.99-0.71 fs of the tetraquark TAV are computed us-ing the aforementioned weak decays.The obtained information about the parametersof TAY and Zh,is useful for experimental investigations of these double-heavy exotic mesons.
