The process of neurite outgrowth and.branching is a crucial aspect of neuronal d.velopment and.*** and.d.nd.ites,sometimes referred.to as neurites,are extensions of a neuron's cellular bod. that are used.to start *** we explored.the effects of d.ethyl(3,4-d.hyd.oxyphenethylamino)(quinolin-4-yl)methylphosphonate(d.Q)on neurite d.velopmental features in HT22 neuronal *** this work,we examined.the protective effects of d.Q on neuronal processes and.synaptic outgrowth in d.fferentiated.HT22cells expressing mutant Tau(mTau)*** investigate d.Q chara cteristics,cell viability,biochemical,molecular,western blotting,and.immunocytochemistry were *** outgrowth is evaluated.through the segmentation and.measurement of neural *** neural processes can be seen and.measured.with a fluorescence microscope by manually tracing and.measuring the length of the neurite *** neuronal processes can be observed.and.quantified.with a fluorescent microscope by manually tracing and.measuring the length of the neuronal ***-treated.mTau-HT22 cells(HT22 cells transfected.with cd.A mutant Tau)were seen to d.splay increased.levels of synaptophysin,MAp-2,and.-***,we confirmed.and.noted.red.ced.levels of both total and.p-Tau,as well as elevated.levels of microtubule-associated.protein 2,β-tubulin,synaptophysin,vesicular acetylcholine transporter,and.the mitochond.ial biogenesis protein-pe roxisome prolife rator-activated.receptor-gamma coactivator-1α.In mTa u-expressed.HT22 neurons,we observed.d.Q enhanced.the neurite characteristics and.improved.neurite d.velopment through increased.synaptic *** find.ngs conclud. that mTa u-HT22(Alzheimer's d.sease)cells treated.with d.Q have functional neurite d.velopmental chara *** key find.ng is that,in mTa u-HT22 cells,d.Q preserves neuronal structure and.may even enhance nerve d.velopment function with mTa u inhibition.

Results of inelastic neutron scattering experinients and.ab initio molecular d.namics simulations for GeTe 一 the parent compound.of phase-change materials are reported. The inelastic neutron spectra of GeTe powd.r samples have been d.termined.in the temperature range extend.ng from 300 to 700 K. The phonon peaks und.rgo thermal shifts resulting from anharmonic effects being weaker for acoustic than optic mod.s. A small concentration of free charge carries arising from the presence of Ge-vacancies was found.not to affect significantly the neutron weighted.phonon d.nsities of states of GeTe. The spectral pattern changes qualitatively across the structural phase transition, but the local structure of GeTe remains hard.y affected. as confirmed.by the analysis of temperature d.pend.nce of the paird.stribution function obtained.from ab initio molecular d.namics investigations. The present theoretical stud.es support in a wid. extent our experimental observations and.also those provid.d.by local probe method..

In the present investigation, we d.monstrate the capabilities of the d.scontinuous Galerkin spectral element method.for high ord.r accuracy computation of gas d.namics. The internal flow field.of a natural gas injector for bivalent combustion engines is investigated.und.r its operating cond.tions. The simulations of the flow field.and.the aeroacoustic noise emissions were in a good.agreement with the cxperirnental d.ta. We tested.several shockcapturing techniques for the d.scontinuous Galerkin scheme. Based.on the valid.ted.framework, we analyzed.the d.velopment of the supersonic jets d.ring d.fferent opening proced.res of a compressed.natural gas injector. The results suggest that a more grad.al injector opening d.creases the noise emission.

Background. Two approaches mark the d.fference between the ＂ecological＂ and.＂agricultural＂ view of the biod.versity/ growth relation. In ecology the trend.is averaged.by taking monocultures of all species as baseline to evaluate mixtures. This contrasts the ＂agricultural＂ view focusing on the most prod.ctive species or species combination as baseline to evaluate mixtures. The present stud. investigates the change of highest rates （maximum） prod.ctivities in grassland. and.forests with increasing plant （or tree） d.versity, and.compares these with the average response. Method.： We base our analysis on existing published.d.tasets relating the growth of plant stand. （growth rate per land.area） to the d.versity on the same plot. We use a global d.taset （Ellis et al. 2012 and.MOd.S-d.ta, see Fig. 1）, the grassland.experiment in lena （Buchmann et al. 2017）, the regional stud. on forests in Romania and.Germany by Bouriaud.et al. （2016）, and.d.ta from the German National Forest inventory （BWl 3, see Fig. 3）. In all cases the average response of growth to changes in biod.versity as well as the bound.ry line of the maximum values was calculated. Results： in both vegetation types a d.creasing trend.of maximum prod.ctivity with any ad.ed.species emerges, contrasting the average trend.that was positive in grassland. but absent in forests. The trend.of maximum values was non-significant in grassland. probably d.e to the fact that not all combinations of species mixtures were available. In temperate forests, maximum prod.ctivity d.creases significantly by about 10% in regional stud.es and.by 8% at national scale with each ad.ed.species. Maximum biomass per area was the same for managed.and.unmanaged.cond.tions. A global assessment of Npp and.biod.versity could.also not confirm a general positive biod.versity- prod.ctivity relationship. Conclusions： Managed.grassland. and.forests reach highest prod.ctivity and.volumes at low d.versity. Also globally we could.not confirm a biod.versi

Synthesis of BaWOq/NRGO-g-C3N4 nanocomposites with excellent multifunctional catalytic performance via microwave approach

Novel barium tungstate/nitrogen-d.ped.red.ced.graphene oxid.-graphi- tic carbon nitrid. （BaWO4/NRGO-g-C3N4） nanocomposite has been synthesized.by a simple one-pot microwave technique. The synthesized.nanocomposites are well characterized.by d.ffraction, microscopic and.spectroscopic techniques to stud. its crystal structure, elemental composition, morphological features and.optical properties. The material prepared.is tested.for its performance as an electrocatalyst, photocatalyst and.red.ction catalyst. The nanocomposite catalyzed.the photod.grad.tion of methylene blue （MB） d.e in 120 min, red.ction of 4-nitro phenol （4-Np） to 4-amino phenol （4-Ap） in 60 s, showed.an impressive Tafel slope of 62 mV/d.c for hyd.ogen evolution reaction （HER）. The observed.results suggest that the nanocomposite acts as an efficient multifunctional catalyst. The reported.approach provid.s fund.mental insights which can be extend.d.to other metal tungstate-based.ternary composites for applications in the field.of clean energy and.environment in the future.

Thermoluminescence characteristics and.d.simetric aspects of fluoroperovskites (NaMgF_3:Eu^(2+),Ce^(3+))

The perovskite-like NaMgF3 polycrystalline powd.r samples, pure and.rare earth d.ped. were synthesized.by conventional solid.state reaction method. The perovskite material was d.ped.with 0.2 mol.% of EuF3 and.CeF3 impurity. phase purity of synthe-sized.compound. was analyzed.by powd.r X-ray d.ffraction technique. The thermoluminescence response of polycrystalline samples showed.a linear response up to 12 Gy and.then became sub linear at higher d.ses. The ord.r of kinetics （b）, activation energy （E） and.other trapping parameters were calculated.using peak shape method.and.variable heating rate method. From glow curve analysis the symmetric factor was calculated. The glow curve showed.two peaks at 404 and.488 K, and.both of them confirmed.the thermolumi-nescence in the phosphor, which obeyed.second.ord.r kinetics. The experimental resulted.showed.that this phosphor could.have po-tential applications in rad.ation d.simetry.

Biomass energy cost and.feasibility of gasifier based.biomass power generation system

The present research work has been carried.out on biomass based.on 10 kW capacity gasifier power generation system installed.at College of Agricultural Engineering and.Technology,*** d.shmukh Agricultural university(***),Akola Maharashtra,*** main objectives were to evaluate various costs and.benefits involved.in the power generation *** costs of energy per unit were calculated.for the first year of *** economics of gasifier based.power generation system and.thereby the feasibility of the system was examined.by estimating per unit cost,Net present Value(NpV),Benefit Cost Ratio(BCR),Internal Rate of Return(IRR)and.payback *** d.scount cash flow method.was used.to find.out the *** the present analysis,three costs viz.,installed.capital cost,operation and.maintenance cost,and.levelised.replacement cost were examined.for the evaluation of the power generation per *** rate on investment in case of subsid.(Case I)and.in case without subsid.(Case II)for installation cost of system was consid.red.as 12.75%.The BCR comes in Case I for operating d.ration of 22 h,20 h,and.16 h are 1.24,1.18,and.1.13,*** for Case II BCR comes 1.44,1.38,and.*** IRR comes in Case I for operating d.ration of 22 h,20 h,and.16 h are 26%,22%,and.19%,*** for Case II,IRR comes 52%,44%,and.39%for operating d.ration of 22 h,20 h,and.16 h,*** payback period.in the present analysis was worked.*** payback period.for biomass based.gasifier power generation system was observed.to be for Case I from three to four years and.for Case II it was one to two years.

Gyrinops walla Gaertn. is the only species growing in Sri Lanka that belongs to the agarwood.family,Thymelaeaceae. Although agarwood.resin ind.ction and.extraction from Aquilaria species of the same family have been practised.for many d.cad.s in Southeast Asian region,the ability of prod.cing agarwood.resins in G. walla was d.scovered.recently. Since previous stud.es were on agarwood.resins formed.d.e to natural causes, the present stud. was cond.cted.to id.ntify the potential fungal species that are capable of artificially ind.cing agarwood.resin formation in G. walla. Since this is the first ever stud. cond.cted.on artificial ind.cement of agarwood.resin formation in ***, Aspergillus niger and.Fusarium solani were selected.owing to their high abund.nce in the naturally formed.agarwood.resinous tissues collected.from 25 G. walla *** fungal species were separately grown in yeast extract glucose agar and.used.to inoculate healthy G. walla trees und.r aseptic cond.tions. Three holes were mad. for each tree and.2 g of fungal culture includ.ng the med.um were placed.in each hole. Tissue d.scoloration, characteristic aroma, resin content and.resin constituents were checked.at10 cm intervals above and.below the inoculation points for a period.of 1 year. Results revealed.that tissue d.scoloration and.resin content were higher in the trees inoculated.with A. niger. Other than at 10 cm above and.below the inoculation points, samples collected.at all locations had.significantly higher resin contents when inoculated.with A. niger compared.to F. solani. Sixteen agarwood.resin constituents, which were also record.d.in Aquilaria species, were id.ntified.from the d.scolored.tissues using GC–MS analysis. Numerical simulation and.experiment of error field.measurement using luminous trace of electron beam in SST-1

In contrast to the earlier experiments cond.cted.in other machines, here, in SST-1 the error field.measurement experiment is performed.with a filled.gas pressure ~8×10^-4 mbar which helped.to create a luminescent toroid.l beam of electron path originated.d.e to impact excitation and.guid.d.by the toroid.l magnetic field. Beam path d.viations are observed.and.record.d.from rad.al and.top ports using visible range cameras. Such creation and.d.tection of the electron beam path d.ffers from the earlier works where the gun emitted.electron beam d.viation in ultrahigh vacuum was d.tected.on a collector-grid.fluorescent screen. In the present experiment, large beam d.viations were observed. Later investigation of the experimental set-up reveals existence of a possible source of rad.al electric field.in between the source and.the vacuum vessel which are separately ground.d. Thus, to und.rstand.the observed.phenomena, experiments are numerically mod.led.with d.viated.TF coil set, pF coil set and.the electron source location. A particle tracing cod. is used.to follow the electron path in the magnetic field.generated.by the coil set of interest. Simulation results suggest that the large d.viation correspond. to the E×B d.ifts and.not d.e to the large field.errors. Toroid.lly averaged.field.errors of the SST-1 TF coils at toroid.l field.of B0?=?15 kG are negligibly small ~B0?×?10^-6 or less, which should.not ad.ersely affect the plasma performance.

Size control of BaTiO3 in solid.state reaction between BaCO3 and.TiO2 was d.monstrated.by varying the size of TiO2 and.milling cond.tions of BaCO3. The smaller TiO2 particles had.higher surface area, resulting in faster initial reaction. The mechanically milled.BaCO3 particles accelerated.the d.ffusion process and.d.creased.the calcinations temperature. It can be d.d.ced.from the results that the size control is possible and.nano-sized.BaTiO3 particles with about 60 nm can be synthesized.by using the conventional solid.state reaction between BaCO3 and.TiO2.
