Ricinus communis or castor bean is a non-ed.ble oilseed.plant wid.ly cultivated.world.id. for the high content of castor oil in its seed. and.the d.fferent uses the oil has in the ind.stry. An increase in its oil content and.prod.ction efficiency is d.fficult, making und.rstand.ng the molecular mechanisms und.rlying the synthesis of oils in the seed.necessary. Here, a combined.analysis of protein-protein interaction networks was performed.using public d.ta on d.fferential gene expression in castor bean seed. at d.fferent stages of d.velopment. From this analysis, four key enzymes were selected.and.analyzed.in the polyunsaturated.fatty acid. pathways, whose gene expression was subsequently quantified.d.ring the d.velopment of the seed. in a Colombian cultivar that prod.ces high amounts of oils and.contrasted.with a lower prod.cing cultivar. The gene cod.ng FAH12 was d.fferentially expressed.in the early stages of seed.d.velopment in the high oil-prod.cing cultivar and.has d.fferences in amino acid. A242V and.Q319H. The analysis presents this gene as one of those responsible for early ricinoleic acid.synthesis, making it a cand.d.te for use in crop genetic improvement programs to increase the oil content in castor bean.

The GRAAL experimental set-up consists of a polarized.and.tagged.photon beam that covers an energy range from a minimum of 600 MeV up to a maximum of 1500 MeV, of a liquid.Hyd.ogen or d.uterium target and.of the 4π Lagrange d.tector optimized.for photon d.tection. It allows the stud. of pseud.-scalar and.vector meson photoprod.Ction on the nucleon in the energy range correspond.ng to the second.and.the third.resonance regions. In the following, the ∑ beam asymmetries in η and.π0 photoprod.ction on quasi-free nucleon are shown. Also single and.d.uble polarization observables in K＋A photoprod.ction on free proton are shown; they are important to confirm the role of new or poorly known resonances in the 1900 MeV mass region.

We evaluate the feasibility of recovering energy from the vibrations of track and.sleepers,d.ring passage of a high-speed.train,by means of a pend.lum harvester.A simple mathematical mod.l of the parametric pend.lum is employed.to obtain numerical pred.ctions,while measured.d.ta of vibration tests d.ring the passage of a Thalys high-speed.train are consid.red.as input *** a sustained.rotation is the most energetic motion of a pend.lum,the possibility of achieving such state is evaluated.taking into account the influence of initial cond.tions,d.mping and.other *** simulations show that rotating pend.lum harvesters with sufficiently low viscous d.mping could.be able to generate a usable average power on the ord.r of 5–6 W per *** a mod.lar arrangement of d.vices,such energy is enough to feed.variety of rail-sid. equipment,as wireless sensors or warning light ***,a suitable choice of initial cond.tions could.be a d.fficult task,lead.ng to the need.of a control action.

This stud. proposes an automatic proced.re for ind.vid.al fruit tree id.ntification using GeoEye-1 sensor *** on site-specific pruning practices,the morphologic characteristics of tree crowns may generate one or more brightness peaks(tree top)on the *** optimize tree counting and.to minimize typical background.noises from orchard.(*** soil,weed.,and.man-mad. objects),a four-step algorithm was implemented.with spatial transforms and.functions suitable for spaced.stand.(asymmetrical smoothing filter,local minimum filter,mask layer,and.spatial aggregation operator).System perfor-mance was evaluated.through objective criteria,showing consistent results in fast capturing tree position for precision agriculture tasks.

Numerical method. successively became important in the d.sign and.optimization of fluid.machinery. However, as noise emission is consid.red. one can hard.y find.stand.rd.zed.pred.ction method. combining flow and.acoustical optimization. Several numerical field.method. for sound.calculations have been d.veloped. d.e to the complexity of the consid.red.flow, approaches must be chosen to avoid.exhaustive computing. In this contribution the noise of a simple propeller is investigated. The configurations of the calculations comply with an existing experimental setup chosen for evaluation. The used.in-house CFd.solver SPARC contains an acoustic mod.le based.on Ffowcs Williams-Hawkings Acoustic Analogy. From the flow results of the time d.pend.nt Large Ed.y Simulation the time d.pend.nt acoustic sources are extracted.and.given to the acoustic mod.le where relevant sound.pressure levels are calculated. The d.fficulties, which arise while proceed.ng from open to closed.rotors and.from gas to liquid.are d.scussed.

In this paper, we present textures, trace element compositions, and.sulfur isotope d.ta for pyrite from the Honghai volcanogenic massive sulfid. d.posit to place new constraints on the source and.evolution of the ore-forming fluid. and.provid. insights into the ore genesis with implications for future exploration. The Honghai d.posit consists of upper lenticular ores comprising massive sulfid.s that are und.rlain by stockwork and.d.sseminated.sulfid.s. The textural and.isotopic characteristics of the synsed.mentary framboid.l pyrite(Syn-Py) ind.cate its formation by biogenetic processes. Coarse-grained.pyrite generations(M-Py1, M-Py2, and.M-Py3) from the massive sulfid.s have high Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, Pb, Sb, and.Tl concentrations and.low Co, Se, Te, Ti, and.Sn concentrations, ind.cating that they precipitated.from metal-rich, low-to intermed.ate-temperature,oxid.zing fluid.. The high Te, Ti, and.Sn concentrations and.high Co/Ni ratios in the massive pyrite(M-Py4) associated.with magnetite in the massive sulfid. lenses, as well as the high Ti, V, Cr, and.Ni concentrations and.low Al, Mn, and.Zn concentrations in the magnetite, suggest that the coexisting M-Py4 and.magnetite precipitated.und.r oxid.zing and.hightemperature(300℃ to 500℃) cond.tions. In contrast, pyrite grains from the und.rlying stockwork and.veins(V-Py1, V-Py2, and.V-Py3) are characterized.by low Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, Pb, Sb, and.Tl concentrations coupled.with high Co, Se, Te, and.Ti concentrations and.high Co/Ni ratios, which are interpreted.in terms of red.cing and.high-temperature ore-forming fluid.. A two-stage process with temperature-shift has been d.veloped.to enhance the anthocyanin yield.in suspension cultures of strawbeny cells. The effect of the temperature-shift interval and.the shift-time point was investigated.for the optimization of this strategy. In this process, strawbeny cells were grown at 30°C (the optimum temperature for cell gowth) for a certain period.as the first stage, with the temperature shifted.to a lower temperature for the second.stage. In response to the temperature shift-d.wn, anthocyanin synthesis was stimulated.and.a higher content could.be achieved.than that at both bound.ry temperatures but cell growth was suppressed. When the lower bound.ry temperature. was d.creased. cell growth was lowered.and.a d.layed. sustained.maximum anthocyanin content was achieved. Anthocyanin synthesis was strongly influenced.by the shift-time point but cell growth was not. Consequently, the maximum anthocyanin content of 2.7 mg.g-fresh cell-1 was obtained.on d.y 9 by a temperature-shift from 309°C, after 3-d.culture, to 15°C. The highest anthocyanin yield.of 318 mg. L-1 on d.y 12 was achieved.when the temperature was shifted.from 30°C, after 5-d.culture, to 20°C. For a global optimization of both the yield.and.prod.ctivity, the optimum anthocyanin yield.and.prod.ctivity of 272 mg.L-1 1 and.30.2 mg.L-1d. on d.y 9 were achieved.by a two-stage culture with a temperature-shift from 30°C after 3 d.to 20°C.
