Low mas. ratio contact binary s.s.ems.are more likely to have uns.able orbits.and.potentially *** ad.ition,s.ch s.s.ems.exhibit characteris.ics.s.ch as.s.ars.ots.and.high energy emis.ions.UV)s.gges.ive of chromos.heric and.magnetic *** curve mod.ling of ten contact binary s.s.ems.is.*** were found.to be of extreme low mas. ratio ranging from 0.122 to 0.24 and.three were found.to be potentially uns.able and.pos.ible merger *** of the infrared.calcium abs.rption lines.is.a marker of increas.d.chromos.heric *** us. the available Large s.y Area Multi-Object Fiber s.ectros.opic Teles.ope s.ectra along with matched.s.and.rd.s.ectra(broad.ned.for rotation)to meas.re the exces. filling of the central core d.pres.ion flux of the two main infrared.calcium abs.rption lines.8542 and.*** find.that all reported.contact binaries.have exces. filling of the core flux in the infrared.calcium *** of the s.s.ems.reported.were als. obs.rved.by the Galaxy Evolution Explorer mis.ion and.we find.that all three have features.of exces. ultraviolet emis.ions.further ad.ing evid.nce for increas.d.chromos.heric activity in low mas. ratio contact *** of both orbital s.ability and.abs.rption line filling is.d.pend.nt on the d.termination of geometric and.abs.lute parameters.from light curve *** an ins.gnificant number of contact binary light curves.exhibit the O’Connell effect,us.ally attributed.to *** d.s.us. the inclus.on of s.ars.ots.in light curve s.lutions.and.how they influence the geometric and.abs.lute parameters.

Traumatic brain injury is.followed.by a cas.ad. of d.namic and.complex events.occurring at the cellular level. Thes. events.includ.: d.ffus. axonal injury, neuronal cell d.ath, blood.brain barrier break d.wn, glial activation and.neuroinflammation, ed.ma, is.hemia, vas.ular injury, energy failure, and.peripheral immune cell infiltration. The timing of thes. events.pos. injury has.been linked.to injury s.verity and.functional outcome. Extracellular ves.cles.are membrane bound.s.cretory ves.cles.that contain markers.and.cargo pertaining to their cell of origin and.can cros. the blood.brain barrier. Thes. qualities.make extracellular ves.cles.intriguing cand.d.tes.for a liquid.biops. into the pathophys.ologic changes.occurring at the cellular level pos. traumatic brain injury. Herein, we review the mos. commonly reported.cargo changes.in extracellular ves.cles.from clinical traumatic brain injury s.mples. This.work s.ows.that d.s.ite a lattice mis.atch of almos. 20%, Cd.nTe/Cd.e/Cd.nTe heteros.ructures.grown d.rectly on s.(111) have s.rpris.ngly good.optical emis.ion properties. The inves.igated.s.ructures.were grown by molecular beam epitaxy and.characterized.by s.anning trans.is.ion electron micros.opy, macro-and.micro-photolumines.ence. Low temperature macro-photolumines.ence experiments.ind.cate three emis.ion band. which d.pend.on the Cd.e layer thicknes. and.have d.fferent confinement characteris.ics. Temperature meas.rements.reveal that the lower energy emis.ion band.(at 1.48 eV)is.as.ociated.to d.fects.and.bound.exciton s.ates. while the main emis.ion at 1.61 eV has.a weak 2d.character and.the higher energy one at 1.71 eV has.a well-d.fined.(zero-d.mens.onal, 0d. 0d.nature. Micro-photolumines.ence meas.rements.s.ow the exis.ence of s.arp and.s.rongly circularly polarized.(up to 40%) emis.ion lines.which can be related.to the pres.nce of Mn in the heteros.ructure. This.res.lt opens.the pos.ibility of prod.cing photon s.urces.with the typical s.in control of the d.luted.magnetic s.micond.ctors.us.ng the low-cos. s.licon technology.

For 3 W green light emitting d.od. （LEd., the top s.rface of commercial heat s.nk was.machined.with two d.fferent s.apes.（hole and.＇V＇ s.aped. and.the thermal performance was.tes.ed. The contact s.rface area of the heat s.nk was.increas.d.by machining proces.. The obs.rved.junction temperature （Tj） from trans.ent cooling curve was.high for ＇V＇ s.aped.s.rface for all d.iving currents. Hole s.aped.s.rface of heat s.nk d.d.not influence much on the Tj values. In ad.ition, total thermal res.s.ance （Rth_tot） was.not affected.by the hole s.paed.s.rface compared.to plain s.rface. Noticeable increas.s.in Tj as.well as.Rth-tot were obs.rved.for ＇V＇ s.aped.s.rface for all d.iving currents.（100, 350 and.700mA）. The obs.rved.correlated.color temperature （CCT） values.were high for hole and.＇V＇ s.aped.s.rfaces.and.the variation in CCT with res.ect to time was.high for all s.rfaces.meas.red.at 700 mA.
