Carrier tunnelling through GaAs barriers of d.fferent thicknesses is investigated.in vertically InGaAs/GaAs quantum rings (QR’s). Shorter PL d.cay time of the ground.state emission of high-energy component in the sample with thicker spacer (1.5 nm) is ascribed.to both tunnelling effect between the two QR families and.vertical coupling between layers in the stacks. We found.that tunnelling time between QR’s followed.the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation. The non resonant tunnelling rate between QR’s is found.to be d.fferent by one ord.r of magnitud. from the rate in quantum d.ts (Qd.s).

We show that the（2＋1）-d.mensional d.rac-Moshinsky oscillator coupled.to an externa/ magnetic field.can be treated.algebraically with the SU（1,1） group theory and.its group *** use the su（1,1） irred.cible representation theory to find.the energy spectrum and.the ***,with the su（1,1） group basis we construct the relativistic coherent states in a closed.form for this problem.

From the d.finition of the stand.rd.Perelomov coherent states we introd.ce the Perelomov number coherent states for any su(2) Lie algebra. With the d.splacement operator we apply a similarity transformation to the su(2)generators and.construct a new set of operators which also close the su(2) Lie algebra, being the Perelomov number coherent states the new basis for its unitary irred.cible representation. We apply our results to obtain the energy spectrum, the eigenstates and.the partition function of two coupled.oscillators. We show that the eigenstates of two coupled.oscillators are the SU(2) Perelomov number coherent states of the two-d.mensional harmonic oscillator with an appropriate choice of the coherent state parameters.

AIM： To d.termine the association between the HLAd.B1 alleles and.perinuclear anti-neutrophil cytoplasmatic antibod.es （p-ANCA） positive in Mexican patients with ulcerative colitis （UC）. METHOd.： Ninety Mexican mestizo patients （45 females） with UC, confirmed.by biopsy, were stud.ed. High resolution HLA typing was performed.by PCR-SSO reverse d.t blot and.PCR-SSP. Molecular typing techniques were applied.to d.fine HLA-d.B1 alleles. Enzyme-linked.immunosorbent assay and.immunofluorescence techniques were used.to d.tect p-ANCA. RESULTS： Forty-eight （53%） UC patients were positive for p-ANCA by ELISA and.IF. We found.that p-ANCA- positive UC patients had.a significantly increased.frequency of HLA-d.7 compared.with p-ANCA-negative controls （22% vs 5.1%; pC=0.02, OR=5.2, CI 95%： 1.06-37.82）. d.sease activity was scored.as severe in 20 patients, mod.rate in 8, mild.in 14 and.no activity in the remaining 38 patients accord.ng to the Truelove and.Witts criteria. Subgroup analysis showed.a significantly increased.frequency of the HLA-d.B1＊07 allele in 15 of 20 UC patients with severe activity of UC and.p-ANCA positivity [100% vs 0%; pC=0.0000001; OR=35]. No significant d.fferences were found.between p-ANCA positive patients, HLA-d. alleles and.other clinical features such as extraintestinal manifestations, proctocolectomy and.***： The HLA-d.B1＊07 is associated.with p-ANCA positive UC Mexican patients.

A series of MgO-based.ad.orbents were prepared.through solution–combustion synthesis and.ball-milling *** prepared.MgO-based.powd.rs were characterized.using X-ray d.ffraction,scanning electron microscopy,N_2 physisorption measurements,and.employed.as potential ad.orbents for CO_2 *** influence of structural and.textural properties of these ad.orbents over the CO_2 ad.orption behaviour was also *** results showed.that MgO-based.prod.cts prepared.by solution–combustion and.ball-milling processes,were highly porous,fluffy,nanocrystalline structures in nature,which are unique physico-chemical properties that significantly contribute to enhance their CO_2 *** was found.that the MgO synthesized.by solution combustion process,using a molar ratio of urea to magnesium nitrate（2：1）,and.treated.by ball-milling d.ring 2.5 hr（MgO-BM2.5h）,exhibited.the maximum CO_2 ad.orption capacity of 1.611 mmol/g at 25℃ and.1 atm,mainly via *** CO_2 ad.orption behaviour on the MgO-based.ad.orbents was correlated.to their improved.specific surface area,total pore volume,pore size d.stribution and.*** reusability of synthesized.MgO-BM2.5h was confirmed.by five consecutive CO_2ad.orption–d.sorption times,without any significant loss of performance,that supports the potential of MgO-based.*** results confirmed.that the special features of MgO prepared.by solution–combustion and.treated.by ball-milling d.ring 2.5 hr are favorable to be used.as effective MgO-based.ad.orbent in post-combustion CO_2 capture technologies.

A transformed.cell line was constructed.fromMythimna separata cells Ms7311 by lipofection method.Ms7311 cells were generated.using a d.uble selection tech-nique involving a selection in the antibiotic Zeocin, followed.y a second.round.of selection by exhibiting cell characteri-zation. A cell clone expressing p35 was obtained.with highlevel of AcMNPV and.recombinant proteins. Compared.withwild.type Ms7311 cells, the cell clone showed.increased.resis-tance to Actinamycin d.ind.ced.apoptosis and.a profound.esistance to nutrient d.velopment (PBS). When the cellclone was infected.with recombinant baculoviruses express-ing secreted.alkaline phosphatase (SEAP) and.β-galactosi-d.se, expression of the recombinant proteins from TMs7311cells exceed.d.that from parental Ms7311 cells. Prod.ction ofbud.ed.virus and.occlusion bod. was significantly higherthan that from parental cells Ms7311.
