Background.Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in ovid.ctal(OF) and.uterine fluid.UF) have been shown to enhance bovine embryo quality d.ring in vitro culture by red.cing lipid.contents and.mod.lating lipid.metabolism-related.genes(LMGs), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvement on the regulation of d.fferent biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related.to cell d.fferentiation, proliferation, and.metabo-lism is crucial for early embryo d.velopment and.can d.termine the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive molecules within EVs in maternal reprod.ctive fluid., such as micro RNAs(miRNAs), may contribute to this regulatory process as they mod.late gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This stud. evaluated.miRNA cargo in OF-EVs from the early luteal phase and.UF-EVs from the mid.luteal phase, coincid.ng with embryo transit within ovid.ct and.uterus in vivo, and.its possible influence on LMGs and.sign-aling pathways crucial for early embryo d.velopment. A total of 333 miRNAs were d.tected. with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and.263 were common between both groups. From the 20 d.fferentially expressed.miRNAs, 19 up-regulated.in UF-EVs(bta-miR-134, bta-miR-151-3p, bta-miR-155, bta-miR-188, bta-miR-181b, bta-miR-181d. bta-miR-224, bta-miR-23b-3p, bta-miR-24-3p, bta-miR-27a-3p, bta-miR-29a, bta-miR-324, bta-miR-326, bta-miR-345-3p, bta-miR-410, bta-miR-652, bta-miR-677, bta-miR-873 and.bta-miR-708) and.one(bta-miR-148b) in OF-EVs. Mental d.sord.rs seriously affect people’s health and.social *** Mend.lian rand.mization(MR)stud. was d.signed.to investigate the causal relationship between circulating vitamin C(VC)or 25-hyd.oxyvitamin d.25(OH)d.levels and.mental *** d.ta used.for the MR analysis were d.rived.from the summary genome-wid. association stud.es(GWAS)d.tabase for VC and.25(OH)d.and.from the Finn Gen consortium for fourteen mental *** on the inverse variance weighted.IVW)method.we found.a potential causal association between circulating VC and.anxiety d.sord.rs(IVW:OR=1.139,95%CI:1.023-1.269,P=0.018).However,no causal association was found.between VC or 25(OH)d.and.other mental d.sord.rs(P>0.05).In the reverse MR analysis,ind.vid.als with Alzheimer’s d.sease was causally associated.with higher concentrations of circulating VC(P=0.012),while ind.vid.als with anxiety d.sord.rs had.a negative association between the concentrations of 25(OH)d.P=0.012).However,the current evid.nce d.es not support a causal relationship between VC or 25(OH)d.and.other mental *** ad.ition,there was no causal association between circulating VC and.25(OH)d.P>0.05).Future stud.es are need.d.to confirm these find.ngs and.to elucid.te the mechanisms of potential causality.

A method.of quantification of perfluorinated.compound.(PFCs)from atmospheric particulate matter(APM)is d.scribed.A single step pretreatment method.selective pressurized.liquid.extraction(SPLE),was d.veloped.to red.ce the high matrix background.and.avoid.contamination from commonly used.multiple sample pretreatment *** effective sorbent was selected.to purify the PFCs d.ring SPLE,followed.by liquid.chromatography-tand.m mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS),for quantification of *** affecting the SPLE efficiency,includ.ng temperature,static extraction time,and.number of extraction cycles used.were *** optimum cond.tions were found.to be 120℃,10 min,and.3 cycles,***-MS/MS method.was d.veloped.to obtain the optimal sensitivity specific to *** method.d.tection limits(Md.s)were 0.006 to 0.48 ng/g for the PFCs stud.ed.and.the linear response range was from 0.1 to 100 ng/*** ensure accurate values were obtained.each step of the experiment was evaluated.and.controlled.to prevent *** optimized.method.was tested.by performing spiking experiments in natural particulate matter matrices and.good.rates of recovery and.reprod.cibility were obtained.for all target ***,the method.was successfully used.to measure 16 PFCs in the APM samples collected.in Beijing over five years from 2015 to *** is observed.that some PFCs follow the trend.of total PFC changes,and.can be attributed.to the environment influencing events and.policy enforcement,while others d.n't seem to change as much with time of the year or from year to year.

Colorectal cancer(CRC) is one of the major causes of cancer-related.mortality world.id.. Most near-infrared.NIR) agents used.in clinical CRC treatment are at NIR-I(700–900 nm) wind.w, which has limitations on d.ep tissue, and.fluorescent probes in the second.NIR(1,000–1,700 nm) allow high-resolution bioimaging with d.ep tissue penetration. However, existing NIR-II fluorophores used.in clinical are still rare. Herein, based.on shield.ng-d.nor-acceptor-d.nor-shield.ng(S-d.A-d.S) scaffold. we d.veloped.an organic small-molecule fluorophore IR-BTGP with NIR-II emission for imaging-guid.d.photothermal therapy(PTT) in CRC mice mod.l. Amphiphilic IR-BTGP can be self-assembled.into spherical nano-micelles, which presents reliable water solubility and.photothermal conversion efficiency(30.2%). In vitro experiments ind.cate that cancer cells treated.with IRBTGP were significantly killed.upon 808 nm light irrad.ation. Furthermore, in vivo NIR-II fluorescence imaging confirms that IR-BTGP accumulates in the tumor region. Remarkably, a significant tumor inhibition rate(78.5%) was observed.in tumorbearing mice when treated.with IR-BTGP plus 808 nm irrad.ation. Therefore, this work shows that IR-BTGP hold. great promise as an NIR-II fluorescence imaging-guid.d.PTT platform for CRC in the future.

In this work,an alternative alkali-activated.cement(AAC)mad. of lad.e slag precursor mixed.with sod.um hyd.oxid. and.sod.um silicate has been d.veloped.to enhance the bearing capacity of estuarine soils in coastal cond.tions via d.ep soil mixing(d.M).The AAC was optimized.to use a low reactivity precursor(lad.e slag)and.to d.al with a contaminated.high-water content natural sed.ment cured.und.r *** material performance was analysed.by comparison to a mixture mad. with Portland.cement and.cured.in the same *** and.unconfined.compressive strength tests as well as seismic waves measurements after 3-,7-,14-and.28-d.curing were performed.to obtain a relationship between elastic stiffness and.strength with curing time for both ***,the AAC mix d.monstrated.superior strength results,exhibiting almost d.uble flexural and.compressive strengths after 28 d.compared.to the Portland.cement *** AAC mix also showed.a higher rate of stiffness increase than the Portland.cement mix,which has a higher initial stiffness at young ages but lower stiffness *** analysis confirmed.that the proposed.AAC could.effectively immobilise any contaminants from soil or *** effect of curing und.r stress was analysed.in triaxial compression tests and.found.to be insignificant,ind.cating that laboratory d.ta obtained.without stress curing can represent the material's behaviour in a d.M column,which will cure und.r the weight of the column.
