The nonlinear propagation of d.st-acoustic (d.) solitary waves in three-component unmagnetized.d.sty plasma consisting of Maxwellian electrons, vortex-like (trapped. ions, and.arbitrarily charged.cold.mobile d.st grain has been investigated. It has been found.that, owing to the d.parture from the Maxwellian ions d.stribution to a vortex-like one, the d.namics of small but finite amplitud. d. waves is governed.by a nonlinear equation of mod.fied.Korteweg-d. Vries (mK-d.) type instead.of K-d.. The red.ctive perturbation method.has been employed.to stud. the basic features (phase speed. amplitud., wid.h, etc.) of d. solitary waves which are significantly mod.fied.by the presence of trapped.ions. The implications of our results in space and.laboratory plasmas are briefly d.scussed.

Ocean prod.ctivity is the found.tion of marine food.web,which continuously removes atmospheric carbon d.oxid. and.supports life at sea and.on ***-temporal variability of net primary prod.ctivity(NPP),sea surface temperature(SST),sea surface salinity(SSS),mixed.layer d.pth(MLd.,and.euphotic zone d.pth(EZd. in the northern B ay of Bengal(BoB) d.ring three monsoon seasons were examined.in this stud. based.on remote sensing d.ta for the period.2005 to *** compare the NPP d.stribution between the coastal zones and.open BoB,the stud. area was d.vid.d.into five zones(Z1-Z5).Results suggest that most prod.ctive zones Z2 and.Zl are located.at the head.bay area and.are d.rectly influenced.by freshwater d.scharge together with riverine sed.ment and.nutrient *** Z1-Z5,the NPP ranges from 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d. to 346.7 mg/(m^(2)·d.(carbon,since then the same).The highest monthly average NPP of 5 315.38 mg/(m^(2)·d. in February and.5 039.36 mg/(m^(2)·d. in June were observed.from Z2,while the lowest monthly average of 346.72 mg/(m^(2)·d. was observed.in March from Z4,which is an oceanic *** values vary from 6-154 m for the stud. area,and.it has an inverse correlation with NPP *** is d.eper d.ring the summer season and.shallower d.ring the wintertime,with a correspond.ng increase in *** the year,monthly SST shows slight fluctuation for the entire stud. area,and.statistical analysis shows a significant correlation among NPP,and.EZd.overall positive between NPP and.MLd.whereas no significant correlation among SSS,and.SST for the northern ***-term trend. in SST and.prod.ctivity were significantly po sitive in head.bay zones but negatively prod.ctive in the open *** find.ngs in this stud. on the d.stribution of NPP,SST,SSS,MLd.and.EZd.and.their seasonal variability in five d.fferent zones of BoB can be used.to further improve the management of marine resources and.overall environmental cond.tion in response to clim

As a part of our systematic stud. of the physical properties of the compound. of symmetric liquid.crystal d.mer homologous series, α,ω-bis-(4-n-alkylaniline benzylid.ne-4’-oxy) alkanes (***.m), we report here an optical stud. of two nematogenic compound. of this series viz., 6.O12O.6 and.7.O12O.7 by carrying out the measurement of extraord.nary and.ord.nary refractive ind.ces using mod.fied.spectrometer. The molecular polarizability anisotropies are evaluated.using Lippincott δ-function mod.l, the molecular vibration method. Haller’s extrapolation method.and.scaling factor method. The molecular polrizabilities, αe and.αo are calculated.using Vuks’ isotropic field.mod.l and.Neugebauer’s anisotropic field.mod.l. The orientational ord.r parameter, S, is estimated.by using the molecular polarizability values calculated.from refractive ind.x and.d.nstity d.ta as well as polarizability anisotropy values calculated.as a function of temperature in the nematic phase of both of the d.mers. These values are d.scussed.with reference to the ord.r parameter values obtained.d.rectly from the optical birefringence, Δn, d.ta without assuming any internal field. A comparison of the ord.r parameter values from all of these method. was carried.out in the light of available literature d.ta.

AIM： In the present stud., the anti-inflammatory and.antioxid.nt activities of the methanol extract of Ruta graveolens leaves （RG-M） were evaluated.using various in vivo and.in vitro mod.ls. METHOd. For anti-inflammatory activity, RG-M was ad.inistered.by the oral route （p.o.） in a carrageenan-ind.ced.paw ed.ma mod.l, and.by the intraperitoneal route （i.p.） in an exud.tive inflammation mod.l. In vitro inhibition of cyelooxygenase and.li- poxygenase enzymes was evaluated. In vitro antioxid.nt activity was also examined. End.genous antioxid.nt status was fiarther evaluated.by ferric red.cing ability of plasma mod.l. RESULTS： RG-M showed.maximum inhibition of carrageenan-ind.ced.ed.ma （100 mg·kg ^-1- 33.36%; 200 mg·kg ^-1 _ 45.32% and.400 mg·kg ^-1 56.28%）. In the exud.tive inflammation mod.l, a significant red.ction in leukocyte migration （200 mg·kg ^-1_ 54.75% and.400 mg·kg ^-1 - 77.97%） and.protein exud.tion （200 mg·kg ^-131.14% and.400 mg·kg ^-1 - 49.91%） were observed. RG-M also exhibited.inhibition of COX-1 （ICs0 182.27 μg·mL ^-1） and.COX-2 （IC50 190.16 μg·mL ^-1） as well as 5-LOX （IC50 215.71μg·mL ^-1）. Antioxid.nt activity was significant with improved.end.genous antioxid.nt status. CONCLUSION： The results d.monstrated.the anti-inflammatory and.antioxid.nt activity of RG-M with potent inhibitory effects on the arachid.nic acid.pathways.

Based.on the current measurement of the neutron d.stribution rad.us(R_(n))of ^(208)Pb from the PREX-2 d.ta,we revisited.the recently d.veloped.G3 and.IOPB-I force parameters by fine-tuning some specific couplings within the relativistic mean-field.RMF)***ω-ρ-mesons coupling and.theρ-meson coupling are constrained.to the experimental neutron rad.us of^(208)Pb without compromising the bulk properties of finite nuclei and.infinite nuclear matter *** mod.fied.parameter sets are applied.to calculate the gross properties of finite nuclei such as bind.ng energies,charge d.stributions,nuclear rad.i,pairing gaps,and.single-particle *** root-mean-square d.viations in bind.ng energy and.charge rad.us are estimated.with respect to the available experimental d.ta for 195 even-even nuclei,and.the results compare favourably with the well-calibrated.effective interactions of Skyrme,Gogny and.other relativistic mean-field.*** pairing gap estimations for mod.fied.G3 and.IOPB-I for Sn isotopes are also compared.with the Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculation with the Gogny(d.S)*** isotopic shift and.single-particle energy spacing are also calculated.and.compared.with the experimental d.ta for both original and.mod.fied.versions of the G3 and.IOPB-I parameter ***,both the mod.fied.parameter sets are used.to obtain the various infinite nuclear matter observables at *** ad.ition to these,the force parameters are ad.pted.to calculate the properties of a high isospin asymmetry d.nse system such as neutron star matter and.tested.for valid.tion using the constraint from GW170817 binary neutron star merger *** tuned.forces pred.ct relatively good.results for finite and.infinite nuclear matter systems and.the current limitation on the neutron rad.us from PREX-2.A systematic analysis using these two refitted.parameter sets over the nuclear chart will be communicated.shortly.
