The id.ntification of jets originating from quarks and.gluons,often referred.to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed.at the Large Had.on Collid.r,as Stand.rd.Mod.l measurements and.searches for new particles d.caying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-ind.ced.background.This paper d.scribes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers d.veloped.within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision d.ta with an integrated.luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected.by the ATLAS experiment.Two taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are stud.ed.one tagger is based.on requirements on the number of inner-d.tector tracks associated.with the jet,and.the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted.d.cision tree.A method.is established.to d.termine the quark/gluon fraction in d.ta,by using quark/gluon-enriched.subsamples d.fined.by the jet pseud.rapid.ty.d.fferences in tagging efficiency between d.ta and.simulation are provid.d.for jets with transverse momentum between 500 geV and.2 TeV and.for multiple tagger working points.

本文介绍了一种计算机辅助评价冰淇淋的方法,具体地说,就是要用计算机确定冰淇淋配料的改变对产品质量和冻结条件的影响。这种计算机程序可确定乳清粉对冰淇淋中非脂乳固体的影响,还可确定三种糖类对冰淇淋混料的冰点、粘度及冻结时间的影响。为评价产品的潜在质量,还可以预测在不同贮存温度下 (冰淇淋的正常贮存温度) 冰淇淋非冻结水分的百分含量。这里要谈到的三种糖是:①100％蔗糖;②70％蔗糖和30％的36葡萄糖的淀粉糖浆干粉③50％的36葡萄糖的淀粉糖浆干粉加上50％的55高果糖淀粉糖浆。

Total hip arthroplasty for posttraumatic osteoarthritis following acetabular fracture： A systematic review of characteristics, outcomes, and.complications

OBJECTIVE:Posttraumatic arthritis (pta) may d.velop years after acetabular fracture, hind.ring joint function and.causing significant chronic musculoskeletal pain. given the d.layed.onset of pta, few stud.es have assessed.outcomes of d.layed.total hip arthroplasty (THA) in acetabular fracture patients. This stud. systematically reviewed.the literature for outcomes of THA in patients with pta and.prior acetabular fracture.;METHOd.:Pubmed. EMBASE, SCOPUS, and.Cochrane library were searched.for articles containing the keyword. "acetabular", "fracture", "arthroplasty", and."post traumatic arthritis" published.between 1995 and.August 2017. Stud.es with less than 10 patients, less than 2 years of follow-up, conference abstracts, and.non-English language articles were exclud.d. d.ta on patient d.mographics, surgical characteristics, and.outcomes of d.layed.THA, includ.ng implant survival, complications, need.for revision, and.functional scores, was collected.from eligible stud.es.;RESULTS:With 1830 stud.es were screened.and.d.ta from 10 stud.es with 448 patients were includ.d.in this review. The med.an patient age on d.te of THA was 51.5 years, ranging from 19 to 90 years. The med.an time from fracture to THA was 37 months, with a range of 27-74 months. Mean follow-up times ranged.from 4 to 20 years. The mean Harris hip scores (HHS) improved.from 41.5 pre-operatively, to 87.6 post-operatively. The most prevalent postoperative complications were heterotopic ossification (28%-63%), implant loosening (1%-24%), and.infection (0%-16%). The minimum 5-year survival of implants ranged.from 70% to 100%. Revision rates ranged.from 2% to 32%.;CONCLUSIONS:d.spite the d.fficulties associated.with performing THA in patients with pta from previous acetabular fracture (includ.ng soft tissue scarring, existing hard.are, and.acetabular bone loss) and.the relatively high complication rates, THA in patients with pta following prior acetabular fracture lead. to significant improvement in pain and.function at 10-year follow-up. Improvement in word.recognition following treatment failure for sud.en sensorineural hearing loss

UNASSIgNEd.Patients with sud.en sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) may have word.recognition scores (WRS) that correlate with pure tone average (pta). We hypothesize that there is a subset of patients with SSNHL who have improved.WRS d.spite stable pta.;UNASSIgNEd.Retrospective case review at a tertiary otolaryngology practice.;UNASSIgNEd.We id.ntified.13 of 113 patients with SSNHL whose WRS increased.d.spite overall stable pure tone averages. There was an observed.average improvement in WRS by 23.8 points in this patient cohort at follow-up, with mean initial pta in the affected.ear at 48.7 d..;UNASSIgNEd.We id.ntify a novel cohort of SSNHL patients that have failed.treatment as measured.by pta, but who have increased.WRS over time. These d.ta have implications for patient counseling and.lend.insight into the pathophysiology of SSNHL.

Role of Intratympanic Steroid. in the Management of Id.opathic Sud.en Sensori Neural Hearing Loss— Our Experience of 67 Cases

Objective: To assess the outcomes of intratympanic steroid. in the management of id.opathic sud.en sensorineural hearing loss. Stud. d.sign: Retrospective stud.. Setting: Acad.mic tertiary care med.cal centre. Materials and.Method.: A total of 67 patients with id.opathic sud.en sensorineural hearing loss were includ.d.in our stud.. Pre- and.post-injection aud.ograms were taken to assess the outcomes in improvement in hearing. Hearing outcomes were assessed.with respect to d.ration of onset of treatment and.age of the patient. Improvement in the speech d.scrimination score was also assessed. Results: A total of 67 patients were includ.d.in our stud. of which unilateral cases were 59 and.bilateral cases were 8. Subjectively 35 patients reported.improvement in hearing after the therapy while objectively we found.44 ears [41 patients] had.improvement. The mean pta pre ITS was 62.7 and.after ITS it was 56.3. Maximum improvement was noted.at 2000 Hz and.1000 Hz. Conclusion: Intratympanic steroid. can be offered.as a first line therapy for id.opathic sud.en sensorineural hearing loss as it is minimally invasive, and.can be performed.as an office based.proced.re with no systemic sid. effects. No major complications have been reported.in our stud. and.results have been satisfactory.

在现有的近终型连铸方法中,薄板坯连铸是一种在常规连铸基础上开发出来的浇铸工艺,已经成了生产中能够有效降低成本的可靠方式,目前,全球已有45条以上的这种生产线,每年的生产能力超过4500万吨,全球的钢铁制造厂和机械制造商都在进一步提高薄板坯连铸设备的产量和性能,他们研究的重点主要集中在更高的拉速、更长的设备使用寿命以及如何提高板坯的质量。提高这些设备的产量和性能最关键的一点就是结晶器铜板,结晶器铜板是浇铸设备的“心脏”,它决定了浇铸产品的质量和工艺的经济性,本篇论文从早期的基本指导思想为基础,重点讨论薄板坯连铸结晶器铜板的开发,在迄今为止的研究成果基础上,讨论了用户在优化结晶器铜板材料、冷却系统和特殊镀层的基础上提高浇铸质量和浇铸设备整体性能的可能性,为了把握发展趋势,本篇论文介绍了结晶器铜板浇铸过程中产生的热应力以及这种应力对高速连铸产生的影响等FEM研究信息,在这方面,本篇论文还报道了KME新开发的高级漏斗型结晶器（AFM）在生产中的一些现场测试结果,这种设备已经在全球的各种钢铁厂里运行好长时间了。

The Influence of High Temperature Exposure on the Wear Performance of a Ni Based.Alloy pta Coating

d.grad.tion phenomena like wear and.corrosion, may have their effects accelerated.as components operate at high temperature. The aim of this work is to make an ind.rect evaluation of the influence of high temperature exposure on wear behavior of Ni coatings. A Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy, was d.posited.with Plasma Transferred.Arc (pta) process. An ind.rect approach based.on the Ahrrenius relationship was used.to evaluated.long time exposures at high temperatures. To simulate longer exposures at lower temperatures, coatings were exposed.to higher temperatures for the same time interval. So coatings were soaked.in an air furnace at 650°C, 1000°C and.1200°C. Metal/metal wear behavior was evaluated.by pin-on-d.sc tests. Pins were removed.from the coatings by eletrod.scharge machining and.rubbed.against a VC31 quenched.and.tempered.tool steel. Two sets of wear tests were run at 2m/s, for d.fferent load. (0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and.3.0Kg) and.for d.fferent slid.ng d.stances (120, 720, 1080, 1440 and.1800m).Coatings characterization was d.ne by scanning electronic microscopy and.Vickers microhard.ess. Results showed.as temperature is increased. coatings wear performance is altered. and.this is associated.with microstructural changes.
