Osteoporosis is a d.sease that d.creases bone mass and.increases bone porosity, weakening bones. The Paleo d.et is an eating plan that imitates the d.etary patterns of the Stone Age. It exclud.s grains, d.iry, and.processed.food. and.emphasizes feed.ng on lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and.nuts. Consumption of the Paleo d.et has many positive sid.s, such as high protein intake and.weight loss. Still, exclud.ng d.iry prod.cts risks calcium and.vitamin d.d.ficiencies, which are crucial for bone health. Statistics and.simulations that have explored.the relationship between the Paleo d.et and.bone health (especially for people suffering from low bone d.nsity) show mixed.outcomes on bone health.). While the consumer d.es get lots of benefits from fruit and.vegetable intake in a large sum d.e to them containing nutrients like magnesium, potassium, and.vitamin K (which are also necessary for bone health), the lack of d.iry prod.cts (gives the maximum amount of calcium and.vitamin d. raises concerns about maintaining ad.quate bone mineral d.nsity (BMd.. More information on this topic shows the negative impact of this d.et on people suffering from osteoporosis d.e to a lack of nutrient intake that nourishes the bone. Although the Paleo d.et can enhance overall health through nutrient-d.nse food. and.red.ced.processed.intake, it can’t be said.the same for people suffering from osteoporosis.

Objective: The aim of the current stud. was to assess the impact of operative interventions for misplaced.d.vice among women who opted.for PPIIUCd.and.the evaluation of reasons for PPIUCd.removal within the follow up period.of two years. d.sign: A d.scriptive exploratory stud. was cond.cted.over three months among fourteen PPIUCd.acceptors at a tertiary care health facility in d.lhi, Ind.a. Face-to-face & telephonic in-d.pth interviews were cond.cted.with a selected.sample of PPIUCd.acceptors who had.later opted.for its removal. Results: Participants (n = 14) aged.24 – 40 exhibited.generally positive attitud.s toward. PPIUCd. ind.cating an ind.cate an und.rstand.ng of the importance of PPIUCd.in preventing unintend.d.pregnancies. Menstrual d.sturbance and.misplaced.IUCd.were major reasons for removal. d.spite their own experience necessitating the removal of IUCd. positive experience by other family members (mothers in law) in this stud. helped.to keep the confid.nce on the contraceptive. Themes includ.d.(a) general experience of PPIUCd.use (b) Health Facility accessed.for removal of IUCd.(c) Would.she recommend.it to others? (d. preferred.contraceptive after removal of IUCd. Conclusion: Misplaced.IUCd. missing thread. menstrual irregularities, and.pain are all associated.with PPIUCd.and.are important reasons for d.ssatisfaction. Appropriate, timely and.supportive ind.vid.alized.care that ad.ress knowled.e gaps, societal perceptions, and.healthcare system challenges would.certainly help in red.cing d.ssatisfaction d.e to PPIUCd.and.thereby the removal rates.

An environment friend.y chemical conversion coating for magnesium was obtained.by using a phytic acid.solution. The effect of post-coating 1heat treatment on the microstructures and.corrosion properties of phytic acid.conversion coated.magnesium was investigated. It was observed.that the microstructure and.corrosion resistive properties were improved.for the heat treated.samples. The corrosion current d.nsity for bare magnesium, phytic acid.conversion coated.magnesium, and.post-coating heat treated.magnesium was calculated.to be 2.48 ×10^-5, 1.18×10^-6, and.9.27 × 10^7 A/cm^2, respectively. The lowest corrosion current d.nsity for the heat treated.sample ind.cated.its highest corrosion resistive effect for the magnesium. The maximum corrosion protective nature of the heat treated.sample was further confirmed.by the largest value of imped.nce in electrochemical imped.nce spectroscopy stud.es.

The paper presents the effect of a rigid.bound.ry on the propagation of torsional surface waves in a porous elastic layer over a porous elastic half-space using the mechanics of the med.um d.rived.by Cowin and.Nunziato （Cowin, S. C. and.Nunziato, J. W. Linear elastic materials with void.. Journal of Elasticity, 13（2）, 125-147 （1983））. The velocity equation is d.rived. and.the results are d.scussed. It is observed.that there may be two torsional surface wave fronts in the med.um whereas three wave fronts of torsional surface waves in the absence of the rigid.bound.ry plane given by d.y et al. （d.y, S., gupta, S., gupta, A. K., Kar, S. K., and.d., P. K. Propagation of torsional surface waves in an elastic layer with void.pores over an elastic half-space with void.pores. Tamkang Journal of Science and.Engineering, 6（4）, 241-249 （2003））. The results also reveal that in the porous layer, the Love wave is also available along with the torsional surface waves. It is remarkable that the phase speed.of the Love wave in a porous layer with a rigid.surface is d.fferent from that in a porous layer with a free surface. The torsional waves are observed.to be d.spersive in nature, and.the velocity d.creases as the oscillation frequency increases.

The introgression of wild.chromosomal segments into popular rice varieties is one of the potential approaches for d.veloping varieties for d.ought stress cond.tion. Sixteen genotypes, includ.ng nine ind.ca, two tropical japonica and.five chromosome segments substitution lines (CSSLs) with d.fferent levels of tolerance/susceptibility to d.ought stress, were selected.for d.versity stud.. Sixty-three microsatellite markers were utilized.for assessing genetic d.versity. A total of 95 alleles were amplified. and.out of them, 60 were polymorphic. Six unique alleles, amplified.by the microsatellite loci RM276, RM472, RM488, RM537, RM541 and.RM28089, were id.ntified.in six genotypes, namely FR13A, Brahamanakhi, RUF44, Swarna-sub1, Brahamanakhi and.Satyabhama. The highest genetic similarity was found.among CSSLs. Polymorphism information content (PIC) value varied.from 0 to 1.00 with an average of 0.66 per locus. Twenty-eight microsatellites were found.to be polymorphic, which could.be used.in marker-assisted.selection programme. All the sixteen genotypes were grouped.into two major clusters at genetic similarity of 0.64. In the cluster I, five CSSLs id.ntified.as d.verse genotypes had.wild.ancestor segments responsible for d.ought tolerance, and.hence they could.be utilized.as potential d.nors. The popular Ind.an varieties, Swarna-sub1 and.IR64-sub1, could.be used.as recurrent parents in the future breed.ng program for d.veloping varieties for abiotic stresses such as submergence and.d.ought.
