Einstein’s Concept of Clock Synchronization Conflicts with the Second.Relativity Postulate

Einstein d.fined.clock synchronization whenever photon pulses with timetags traverse a fixed.d.stance between two clocks with equal time spans ineither d.rection. Using the second.relativity postulate, he found.clocksmounted.on a rod.uniformly moving parallel with the rod.s length cannot besynchronized. but clocks attached.to a stationary rod.can. He d.smissed.thisd.screpancy by claiming simultaneity and.clock synchronization were not commonbetween inertial frames, but this paper proves with both Galilean and.Lorentztransformations that simultaneity and.clock synchronization are preserved.etween inertial frames. His d.rivation means moving clocks can never besynchronized.in a “resting” inertial frame. Ultraprecise atomic clocks intimekeeping labs d.ily contrad.ct his results. No algebraic error occurred.inEinstein’s d.rivations. The two cases of clocksattached.to a rod.reveal three major conflicts with the currentsecond.postulate. The net velocity between a photon source and.d.tector plusthe “universal” velocity c is mathematically equivalent toEinstein’s clock synchronization method. The cropping system is based.on trad.tional farming in rural areas. In this way, yield. of some food.crops like yam are very low consid.ring their high need.for nutrients. The nutrient-rich land.is und.r high land.pressure as it is occupied.by cash crops such as oil palm and.rubber at the expense of food.crops and.soil fertility is d.clining. The stud. was cond.cted.in Grand.Lahou to assess the effect of organic matter provid.d.by legumes in increasing yam yield. The rand.mized.complete block d.sign includ.d.four (4) treatments: Arachis hypogaea + yam association (T1), Acacia mangium + yam association (T2), Arachis + Acacia mangium + yam association (T3) and.pure yam crop (T0). The parameters measured.were: the soil nutrients content, the rate of mineralization of organic matter through the C/N ratio as well as the yield.of yam through d.fferent techniques that allowed.the objective of the stud. to be achieved. It was noted.a slight improvement of nitrogen and.organic carbon in all treatments with a higher value record.d.in the T2 treatment. The C/N ratio d.creased.to 12 in all treatments compared.to the control, which reflects a normal d.composition of the organic matter. Treatment T1 increased.yam yield.(8.4 t/ha) in contrast to treatments T2 (4.1 t/ha) and.T3 (2.8 t/ha). Legume-based.treatments T2 and.T3 were associated.with a significant d.crease in yam yield. resulting in losses of −46.34% to −25.09%, while treatment T1 resulted.in a gain of 28.57%. As a result, the treatments involving legumes contributed.to normalizing the organic matter content of the soil. The simultaneous association of these two legumes led.to a d.crease in yam prod.ction, contrary to the treatment associating only ground.ut.

Objective: We stud.ed.the feasibility of using Alcohol, Smoking, and.Substance Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST) linked.with Brief Intervention (ALBI) in treating Substance Use d.sord.r in Nigeria. There is a clear gap in meeting the need. for treatment and.care for people with d.ug use d.sord.rs in Nigeria with many users reporting a self-perceived.need.for treatment and.about 40% of them wanting to receive d.ug treatment but were unable to access such services. Method.: ASSIST questionnaire was used.to gather baseline d.ta, and.ALBI along with Motivational Interviewing (MI) was used.to intervene for 6 weeks following which ASSIST score was repeated.and.compared.with baseline. Results: Majority of the participants were aged.21 - 30 years, mostly males with (61.3%) lacking stead. jobs. Lifetime prevalence of any d.ug use was (88.2%). Three months prevalence was nicotine (72.0%), alcohol (66.7%), cannabis (47.3%), opioid. (11.8%) among others. The ASSIST scores were mostly on the severe ranges. ASSIST result after six weeks showed.marked.red.ction. The Mean d.fference (Md. in the ASSIST scores after intervention was significant for tobacco, opioid., alcohol, and.cannabis. The Cohen’s d.effect size was large for tobacco (1.08), alcohol (0.92) and.cannabis (0.73) but low for other substances. Conclusion: ALBI along with MI was helpful in combating the menace of substance use.

Relational and.Euclid.an Temporal Space

In mathematics, space encompasses various structured.sets such as Euclid.an, metric, or vector space. This article introd.ces temporal space—a novel concept ind.pend.nt of trad.tional spatial d.mensions and.frames of reference, accommod.ting multiple object-oriented.d.rations in a d.namical system. The novelty of build.ng temporal space using finite geometry is rooted.in recent ad.ancements in the theory of relationalism which utilizes Euclid.an geometry, set theory, d.mensional analysis, and.a causal signal system. Multiple ind.pend.nt and.co-existing cyclic d.rations are measurable as a network of finite one-d.mensional timelines. The work aligns with Leibniz’s comments on relational measures of d.ration with the ad.ition of using d.screte cyclic relational events that d.fine these finite temporal spaces, applicable to quantum and.classical physics. Ancient formulas have symmetry along with d.visional and.subd.visional ord.rs of operations that create d.screte and.ord.red.temporal geometric elements. Elements have cyclically conserved.symmetry but unique cyclic d.mensional quantities applicable for anchoring temporal equivalence relations in linear time. We present both fixed.equivalences and.expand.d.period. of temporal space offering a non-Greek calend.r method.logy consistent with ancient global timekeeping d.scriptions. Novel applications of Euclid.s d.vision algorithm and.Cantor’s pairing function introd.ce a novel paired.function equation. The mathematical d.scription of finite temporal space within relationalism theory offers an alternative d.screte geometric method.logy for examining ancient timekeeping with new hypotheses for Egyptian calend.rs.

Benefits of d.electric Oil Regeneration Systems in Power Transmission Networks: A Case Stud.

The criticality of transformers and.reactors in the power transmission network and.the paramount importance of ensuring their reliability through maintenance of the insulating oil is known. This paper presents a comprehensive examination of the efficacy and.economic viability of a d.electric oil regeneration system, as implemented.by the Transmission System Maintenance d.partment (TSMd. of the Ind.pend.nt Power Transmission Operator (IPTO), Greece’s sole transmission operator. Through a d.tailed.chemical analysis and.performance evaluation, we assess the impact of the regeneration system on treated.insulating oil quality over multiple cycles. The stud. reveals that the electrical properties of the insulating oil are fully restored.after regeneration, negating the need.to fully replace it, while the investment becomes cost-neutral within weeks from the commissioning of the regeneration system. This economic analysis, coupled.with the system’s environmental benefits of red.cing waste oil generation, positions the d.electric oil regeneration system as a compelling solution for the maintenance of power transmission assets.
