The success of d.ep transfer learning in fault d.agnosis is attributed.to the collection of high-quality labeled.d.ta from the source ***,in engineering scenarios,achieving such high-quality label annotation is d.fficult and.*** incorrect label annotation prod.ces two negative effects:1)the complex d.cision bound.ry of d.agnosis mod.ls lowers the generalization performance on the target d.main,and.)the d.stribution of target d.main samples becomes misaligned.with the false-labeled.*** overcome these negative effects,this article proposes a solution called.the label recovery and.trajectory d.signable network.LRTd.).LRTd. consists of three ***,a resid.al network.with d.al classifiers is to learn features from cross-d.main ***,an annotation check.mod.le is constructed.to generate a label anomaly ind.cator that could.mod.fy the abnormal labels of false-labeled.samples in the source *** the training of relabeled.samples,the complexity of d.agnosis mod.l is red.ced.via semi-supervised.***,the ad.ptation trajectories are d.signed.for sample d.stributions across *** ensures that the target d.main samples are only ad.pted.with the pure-labeled.*** LRTd. is verified.by two case stud.es,in which the d.agnosis k.owled.e of bearings is transferred.across d.fferent work.ng cond.tions as well as d.fferent yet related.*** results show that LRTd. offers a high d.agnosis accuracy even in the presence of incorrect annotation.

HISP-1 Inhibits HSV-1 Infection in Cultured.Vero Cells

Herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1) remains a lead.ng cause of viral d.sease world.id. and.is spread.by d.rect contact with infected.lesions. There is no vaccine against HSV-1 infections and.there remains a need.to id.ntify therapeutics that could.red.ce the spread. In this stud. various hispolon compound. were analyzed.to d.termine their antiviral potential against HSV-1 infections in cultured.Vero cells. To d.termine the effects on infectivity and.possible mechanisms of inhibition, the following assays were cond.cted. In vitro cytotoxicity assays were cond.cted.to d.termine the effect of the compound. on cell viability and.the maximum non-cytotoxic concentrations. Antiviral assays measured.cell viability, percent inhibition of infection following treatment with the compound., and.the effect on the viral infection cycle. These effects were visualized.using inverted.light and.fluorescent microscopy. Of the 24 hispolons tested. only hispolon pyrazole-1 (HISP-1) d.monstrated.antiviral effects. HISP-1 was d.monstrated.to effect early stages in HSV-1 infection in cultured.Vero cells (attachment, penetration, and.post-penetration). In silico mod.ling analyses were cond.cted.to analyze the interactions between HISP-1 and.viral glycoprotein d.(gd.. HISP-1 is safe at concentrations tested.and.is effective in inhibiting infection of HSV-1 in cultured.cells. HISP-1 has potential for therapeutic use as an antiviral against HSV-1 infection, could.work.in synergy with other antivirals that work.be a d.fferent mod.lity, and.could.be d.veloped.as a component of a topical agent to red.ce the spread.of HSV-1 infections.

Flood.Risk.Assessment in the Lower Valley of Ouémé, Benin

In response to the increased.frequency of flood.events in recent years, it has become crucial to enhance prepared.ess and.anticipation through precise flood.risk.assessments. To this end. this stud. aims to prod.ce upd.ted.and.precise flood.risk.maps for the Lower Valley of Ouémé River Basin, located.in the South of Benin. The method.logy used.consisted.of a combination of geographical information systems (GIS) and.multi-criteria analysis, includ.ng Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. to d.fine and.quantify criteria for flood.risk.assessment. Seven hyd.o-geomorphological ind.cators (elevation, rainfall, slope, d.stance from rivers, flow accumulation, soil type, and.d.ainage d.nsity), four socio-economic vulnerability ind.cators (female population d.nsity, literacy rate, poverty ind.x, and.road.network.d.nsity), and.two exposure ind.cators (population d.nsity and.land.use) were integrated.to generate risk.maps. The results ind.cate that approximately 21.5% of the Lower Valley is und.r high and.very high flood.risk. mainly in the south between d.ngbo, So-Ava, and.Aguégués. The stud. find.ngs align with the historical flood.pattern in the region, which confirms the suitability of the used.method. The novelty of this work.lies in its comprehensive approach, the incorporation of AHP for weighting factors, and.the use of remote sensing d.ta, GIS technology, and.spatial analysis techniques which ad.s precision to the mapping process. This work.ad.ances the scientific und.rstand.ng of flood.risk.assessment and.offers practical insights and.solutions for flood.prone regions. The d.tailed.flood.risk.ind.cator maps obtained.stand.out from previous stud.es and.provid. valuable information for effective flood.risk.management and.mitigation efforts in the Lower Valley of Ouémé.

Racial and.Ethnic d.fferences in Orthorexia Nervosa Symptomatology and.Other d.sord.red.Eating

While some research has explored.racial and.ethnic d.fferences in d.sord.red.eating, this stud. may be the first to examine these d.fferences in orthorexia nervosa, involving obsessive-compulsive thoughts and.behaviors concerning healthy eating, which negatively impact one’s life. Ad.lt participants, recruited.from college courses and.social med.a, completed.an online survey with the Orthorexia Nervosa Inventory (ONI) and.the Eating Attitud.s Test-26 (EAT-26). Regard.ng racial and.ethnic back.round. 743 were White, 249 were Hispanic, 87 were Black. 61 were Asian or Pacific Island.r, and.110 were biracial/multiracial. A MANCOVA revealed.that the racial and.ethnic groups d.d.not d.ffer on the ONI subscales assessing orthorexic behaviors, impairments, and.emotions, after accounting for gend.r, BMI, and.EAT-26 total scores that were covariates. In contrast, a second.MANCOVA d.d.reveal group d.fferences on the EAT-26 subscales, after accounting for gend.r, BMI, and.ONI total scores that were covariates. Black.participants scored.significantly lower than the other racial and.ethnic groups on the subscale assessing d.eting behaviors characteristic of anorexia nervosa, and.the subscale assessing binge-eating and.purging behaviors characteristic of bulimia nervosa. Further, Hispanic participants scored.significantly lower than White participants on the latter subscale. These find.ngs suggest that while orthorexic symptomatology d.es not d.ffer based.on race and.ethnicity, a Black.race and.Hispanic ethnicity may be protective factors against d.sord.red.eating, perhaps related.either to cultural norms concerning bod. image or to the resiliency and.social support among the Black.and.Hispanic communities.
