Introduction:Malaria is a significant public health concern and tropical disease,particularly affecting Myanmar within the Greater Mekong *** annual parasite index(API)exceeds 1 per 10,000 population in the northern seven townships of Rakhine State,with Minbya Township designated as a highburden area for malaria by the World Health Organization(WHO)Myanmar and the National Malaria Control Programme(NMCP).Since 2017,the Malaria reduction intensification plan has been in place in this township to combat the high disease transmission *** study aims to assess the malaria epidemiology in Minbya Township from 2017 to 2020 under the intensification plan for elimination,as well as to evaluate the effectiveness of the integrated strategy in reducing cases in hotspot ***:The study utilized a surveillance study design to collect secondary data from the Malaria surveillance system(MSS)and the epidemiologic monitoring dashboard of Minbya Township,Maruk-U district,located in Rakhine ***:Since 2017,the Malaria prevention and control(P&C)Program in Minbya Township has successfully decreased malaria morbidity,eliminated malaria-related deaths,and bolstered malaria testing capabilities through the participation of village health volunteers(VHVs).Approximately 87%of malaria prevention and control services are executed by the township’s malaria elimination and disease control programs,with additional support from *** API dropped from 13 in 2017 to 2.5 in 2020,with Plasmodium vivax being the most prevalent malaria species,accounting for 55%of ***:The study suggests that early diagnosis and promotion of artemisinin-based combination treatment(ACT),along with strategic planning including expanding active case detection in rural health centers and implementing a communitybasedcommunitybased integrated healthcare approach,are effective and efficient strategies for malaria elimination.

Metaverse is a virtual environment where users are represented by their avatars to navigate a virtual world having strong links with its physical *** state-of-the-art Metaverse architectures rely on a cloud-based approach for avatar physics emulation and graphics rendering *** current centralized architecture of such systems is unfavorable as it suffers from several drawbacks caused by the long latency of cloud access,such as low-quality *** this end,we propose a Fog-Edge hybrid computing architecture for Metaverse applications that leverage an edge-enabled distributed computing *** applications leverage edge devices’computing power to perform the required computations for heavy tasks,such as collision detection in the virtual universe and high-computational 3d physics in virtual *** computational costs of a Metaverse entity,such as collision detection or physics emulation,are performed at the device of the associated physical *** validate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture,we simulate a distributed social Metaverse *** simulation results show that the proposed architecture can reduce the latency by 50%when compared with cloud-based Metaverse applications.

The picking efficiency of seismic first breaks(FBs)has been greatly accelerated by deep learning(dL)***,the picking accuracy and efficiency of dL methods still face huge challenges in low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)*** address this issue,we propose a regression approach to pick FBs based on bidirectional long short-term memory(Bi LSTM)neural network by learning the implicit Eikonal equation of 3d inhomogeneous media with rugged topography in the target *** employ a regressive model that represents the relationships among the elevation of shots,offset and the elevation of receivers with their seismic traveltime to predict the unknown FBs,from common-shot gathers with sparsely distributed *** from image segmentation methods which automatically extract image features and classify FBs from seismic data,the proposed method can learn the inner relationship between field geometry and *** addition,the predicted results by the regressive model are continuous values of FBs rather than the discrete ones of the binary *** picking results of synthetic data shows that the proposed method has low dependence on label data,and can obtain reliable and similar predicted results using two types of label data with large *** picking results of9380 shots for 3d seismic data generated by vibroseis indicate that the proposed method can still accurately predict FBs in low SNR *** subsequent stacked profiles further illustrate the reliability and effectiveness of the proposed *** results of model data and field seismic data demonstrate that the proposed regression method is a robust first-break picker with high potential for field application.

In this article,the experimental and finite element analysis is utilized to investigate the quasi-static compression features of sandwich constructions built with tapered tubes.3d printing technology was utilized to create the hollow centers of the tapering tubes,with and without *** results demonstrate that the energy absorption(EA)and specific energy absorption(SEA)of the single corrugated tapered tube sandwich are 51.6% and 19.8% higher,respectively,than those of the conical tube ***,the results demonstrate that energy absorbers can benefit from corrugation in order to increase their ***,the tapered corrugated tubes'resistance to oblique impacts was *** to a straight tube,the tapered tube is more resistant to oblique loads and has a lower initial peak crushing force(PCF),according to numerical *** conducting a parametric study,it was discovered that the energy absorption performance of the sandwich construction is significantly affected by the amplitude,number of corrugations,and wall *** and SEA of dTS with corrugation number of 8 increased by 17.4%and 29.6%,respectively,while PCF decreased by 9.2% compared to dTS with corrugation number of 10.

Earth’s magnetopause is a thin boundary separating the shocked solar wind plasma from the magnetospheric plasmas,and it is also the boundary of the solar wind energy transport to the *** X-ray imaging allows investigation of the large-scale magnetopause by providing a two-dimensional(2-d)global view from a *** performing 3-d global hybrid-particle-in-cell(hybrid-PIC)simulations,we obtain soft X-ray images of Earth’s magnetopause under different solar wind conditions,such as different plasma densities and directions of the southward interplanetary magnetic *** all cases,magnetic reconnection occurs at low latitude *** soft X-ray images observed by a hypothetical satellite are shown,with all of the following identified:the boundary of the magnetopause,the cusps,and the *** X-ray emissivity in the magnetosheath is characterized by large amplitude fluctuations(up to 160%);however,the maximum line-of-sight-integrated X-ray intensity matches the tangent directions of the magnetopause well,indicating that these fluctuations have limited impact on identifying the magnetopause boundary in the X-ray ***,the magnetopause boundary can be identified using multiple viewing *** also find that solar wind conditions have little effect on the magnetopause *** Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SMILE)mission will provide X-ray images of the magnetopause for the first time,and our global hybrid-PIC simulation results can help better understand the 2-d X-ray images of the magnetopause from a 3-d perspective,with particle kinetic effects considered.

Knowledge about the seismic elastic modulus dispersion,and associated attenuation,in fluid-saturated rocks is essential for better interpretation of seismic observations taken as part of hydrocarbon identification and time-lapse seismic surveillance of both conventional and unconventional reservoir and overburden performances.A Seismic Elastic Moduli Module has been developed,based on the forced-oscillations method,to experimentally investigate the frequency dependence of Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio,as well as the inferred attenuation,of cylindrical samples under different confining pressure *** with three standard samples showed that the measured elastic moduli were consistent with the published data,indicating that the new apparatus can operate reliably over a wide frequency range of f∈[1-2000,10^(6)]*** Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio of the shale and the tight sandstone samples were measured under axial stress oscillations to assess the frequency-and pressure-dependent *** dry condition,both samples appear to be nearly frequency independent,with weak pressure dependence for the shale and significant pressure dependence for the *** particular,it was found that the tight sandstone with complex pore microstructure exhibited apparent dispersion and attenuation under brine or glycerin saturation conditions,the levels of which were strongly influenced by the increased effective *** addition,the measured Young's moduli results were compared with the theoretical predictions from a scaled poroelastic model with a reasonably good agreement,revealing that the combined fluid flow mechanisms at both mesoscopic and microscopic scales possibly responsible for the measured dispersion.

The use of transition metal-activated peroxymonosulfate（PMS） as an advanced oxidation technology has gained recognition. This study developed a catalyst using cobaltdlanthanum bimetallic oxide supported on layered molybdenum disulfide （Mo S2） as a carrier. The CodLa/Mo S2catalyst was synthesised through coprecipitation, followed by calcination with an optimised metal ratio of Co:La=2:1 to activate PMS and degrade trace chloramphenicol（CAP） in water. The chemical composition of the catalyst was confirmed using X-ray diffraction （XRd） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）. At catalyst and PMS dosages of 0.1 and 0.5 g·L-1, respectively, the degradation rate of CAP was 95% with in 30 min. The catalyst exhibitedstrong resistance to most interfering anions and maintained a high degradation rate at p H 3d11. Liquid chromatographydmass spectrometry analysis revealed the potential degradation pathways of CAP in the CodLa/Mo S2（2:1）/PMS system. For other pollutants, such as oxytetracycline,complete degradation was achieved within 20 min,demonstrating the broad applicability of the CodLa/Mo S2（2:1）/PMS system for the degradation and removal of antibiotic organic contaminants. This study offers a feasible approach for the degradation of antibiotic organic pollutants, including CAP, in natural water bodies.

Objective To investigate the in vivo immunomodulatory and anti-tumor mechanisms of the combined treatment of novel Four-Herb formula(4HF)and doxorubicin in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).Methods Murine-derived triple-negative mammary carcinoma cell line,4T1 cells,was cultured and inoculated into mouse mammary ***-six mice were randomly assigned into 6 groups(n=11 in ench):naive,control,Ld 4HF(low dose 4HF),Hd 4HF(high dose 4HF),Ld 4HF+d(low dose and doxorubicin),and d(doxorubicin).Apart from the naive group,each mouse received subcutaneous inoculation with 5×10^(5)4T1 cells resuspended in 100µL of normal saline in the mammary fat *** from the day of tumor cell inoculation,tumors were grown for 6 *** Ld and Hd groups received daily oral gavage of 658 and 2,630 mg/kg 4HF,*** Ld 4HF+d group received daily oral gavage of 658 mg/kg 4HF and weekly intraperitoneal injection of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The d group received weekly intraperitoneal injections of doxorubicin(5 mg/kg).The treatment naive mice received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double distilled water and 0.1 mL normal saline via intraperitoneal injection once a *** control group received daily oral gavage of 0.2 mL double-distilled *** treatment period was 30 *** the end of treatment,mice organs were harvested to analyze immunological activities via immunophenotyping,gene and multiplex analysis,histological staining,and gut microbiota *** Mice treated with the combination of 4HF and doxorubicin resulted in significantly reduced tumor and spleen burdens(Pd the hypoxia and overall immune lymphocyte landscape,and manipulated gut microbiota to favor the anti-tumor immunological ***,immunosuppressive genes,cytokines,and chemokines such as C-C motif chemokine 2 and interleukin-10 of tumors were significantly downregulated(Pdoxorubicin combination treatment demonstrated synergetic activities and was most effective

While we eagerly anticipate SMILE’s(Solar wind Magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer)unprecedented X-ray observations of the Earth’s magnetosheath and the initiation of a new era of magnetospheric research,it seems appropriate to look ahead to the abilities of the next generation of astrophysics *** these,the Line Emission Mapper(LEM),a large aperture micro-calorimeter based mission,is currently planned to be able to observe the magnetosheath at high spectral resolution(~2 eV).With a field of view of~30′,LEM will allow higher spatial resolution and higher cadence measurement of the motion of a very small portion of the magnetopause over relatively short periods of time(multiple hours),complementing SMILE’s global ***’s strength is its spectral *** will be able to measure the abundance of a broad range of elements and ionization states,many of which are inaccessible to current in situ instruments,and will be able to separate the emission from the magnetosheath from the emission from the cosmic X-ray background using the difference in their relative velocities.
