We develop a new formulation of the integral equation(IE)method for three-dimensional(3D)electromagnetic(EM)field computation in large-scale models with multiple inhomogeneous *** problem arises in many practical applications including modeling the EM fields within the complex geoelectrical structures in geophysical *** geophysical applications,it is difficult to describe an earth structure using the horizontally layered background conductivity model,which is required for the efficient implementation of the conventional IE *** a result,a large domain of interest with anomalous conductivity distribution needs to be discretized,which complicates the *** new method allows us to consider multiple inhomogeneous domains,where the conductivity distribution is different from that of the background,and to use independent discretizations for different *** reduces dramatically the computational resources required for largescale *** addition,using this method,we can analyze the response of each domain separately without an inappropriate use of the superposition principle for the EM field *** method was carefully tested for the modeling the marine controlled-source electromagnetic(MCSEM)fields for complex geoelectric structures with multiple inhomogeneous domains,such as a seafloor with the rough bathymetry,salt domes,and *** have also used this technique to investigate the return induction effects from regional geoelectrical structures,e.g.,seafloor bathymetry and salt domes,which can distort the EM response from the geophysical exploration target.

Tropospheric ozone concentrations, which are an important air pollutant, are modeled by the use of an artificial intelligence structure. Data obtained from air pollution measurement stations in the city of Istanbul are utilized in constituting the model. A supervised algorithm for the evaluation of ozone concentration using a genetically trained multi-level cellular neural network （ML-CNN） is introduced, developed, and applied to real data. A genetic algorithm is used in the optimization of CNN templates. The model results and the actual measurement results are compared and statistically evaluated. It is observed that seasonal changes in ozone concentrations are reflected effectively by the concentrations estimated by the multilevel-CNN model structure, with a correlation value of 0.57 ascertained between actual and model results. It is shown that the multilevel-CNN modeling technique is as satisfactory as other modeling techniques in associating the data in a complex medium in air pollution applications.

BACKGROUND: Carbon monoxide poisoning(COP) is an important cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide. This study was to investigate the levels of serum paraoxonase(PON), arylesterase(ARYL), ceruloplasmin(Cp), and sulfhydryl(-SH) in the treatment of COP, and to further understand the pathophysiology of ***: This prospective study comprised 107 individuals with COP(group 1) and 50 healthy volunteers(group 2). Serum, plasma, and erythrocyte samples were taken on admission from all participants with COP. This process was repeated in the 90 th and 180 th minutes of treatment. Samples were taken from the control group only once. The levels of plasma PON, ARYL, Cp activity and-SH were measured in both ***: Age, gender, and carboxyhemoglobin level were not correlated with PON, ARYL, Cp, and-SH levels. PON, ARYL, and-SH levels were signifi cantly decreased in group 1 compared with group 2. Conversely, Cp was signifi cantly elevated in group 1 in contrast to group 2. Although ARYL was lower on admission in patients with COP than that was observed in the 90 th and 180 th minutes(P<0.001), Cp was higher on admission than at the other time points(P<0.001).CONCLUSIONS: Participants with COP had decreased levels of antioxidants(PON, ARLY, and-SH). COP represses the antioxidant system.

Background Currently,there is no comprehensive and multidisciplinary recommendation study covering all aspects of pediatric dysphagia(PD).This study aimed to generate PD management recommendations with methods that can be used in clinical practice to fill this gap in our country and in the world,from the perspective of experienced multidisciplinary *** This recommendation paper was generated by a multidisciplinary team,using the seven-step process and a three-round modified Delphi survey via ***,ten open-ended questions were created,and then detailed recommendations including management,diagnosis,treatment,and follow-up were created with the answers from these *** recommendation item was voted on by the experts as overall consensus(strong recommendation),approaching consensus(weak recommendation)and divergent consensus(not recommended).Results In the 1st Delphi round,a questionnaire of 414 items was prepared based on the experts’responses to ten open-ended *** the 2nd Delphi round,59.2%of these items were accepted as *** the 3rd Delphi round,62.6%of 246 items were accepted for inclusion in the *** final version recommendations consisted of 154 *** This study includes comprehensive and detailed answers for every problem that could be posed in clinical practice for the management of PD,and recommendations are for all pediatric patients with both oropharyngeal and esophageal dysphagia.
