A Risk Prediction Model for In-hospital Mortality in Patients with Suspected Myocarditis

Background：Myocarditis is an inflammatory disease of the myocardium that may lead to cardiac death in some ***,little is known about the predictors of in-hospital mortality in patients with suspected ***,the aim of this study was to identify the independent risk factors for in-hospital mortality in patients with suspected myocarditis by establishing a risk prediction ***：A retrospective study was performed to analyze the clinical medical records of 403 consecutive patients with suspected myocarditis who were admitted to Ningbo First Hospital between January 2003 and December 2013.A total of 238 males （59%） and 165 females （41%） were enrolled in this *** divided the above patients into two subgroups （survival and nonsurvival）,according to their clinical in-hospital *** maximize the effectiveness of the prediction model,we first identified the potential risk factors for in-hospital mortality among patients with suspected myocarditis,based on data pertaining to previously established risk factors and basic patient *** subsequently established a regression model for predicting in-hospital mortality using univariate and multivariate logistic regression ***,we identified the independent risk factors for in-hospital mortality using our risk prediction ***：The following prediction model for in-hospital mortality in patients with suspected myocarditis,including creatinine clearance rate （Ccr）,age,ventricular tachycardia （VT）,New York Heart Association （NYHA） classification,gender and cardiac troponin T （cTnT）,was established in the study：P =ea/（1 ＋ ea）（where e is the exponential function,P is the probability of in-hospital death,and a =-7.34 ＋ 2.99× [Ccr 〈60 ml/min =1,Ccr ≥60 ml/min =0] ＋ 2.01 × [age ≥50 years =1,age 〈50 years =0] ＋ 1.93 × [VT =1,no VT =0] ＋ 1.39 × [NYHA ≥3 =1,NYHA 〈3 =0] ＋ 1.25 × [male =1,female =0] ＋ 1.13 × [cTnT ≥50 μg/L 1,cTnT 〈50 μg/L =0]）.The area under the receiver

Electrical control of antiferromagnetic metal up to 15 nm

Manipulation of antiferromagnetic(AFM) spins by electrical means is on great demand to develop the AFM spintronics with low power consumption. Here we report a reversible electrical control of antiferromagnetic moments of FeMn up to 15 nm, using an ionic liquid to exert a substantial electric-field effect. The manipulation is demonstrated by the modulation of exchange spring in[Co/Pt]/FeMn system, where AFM moments in FeMn pin the magnetization rotation of Co/Pt. By carrier injection or extraction,the magnetic anisotropy of the top layer in FeMn is modulated to influence the whole exchange spring and then passes its influence to the [Co/Pt]/FeMn interface, through a distance up to the length of exchange spring that fully screens electric field. Comparing FeMn to IrMn, despite the opposite dependence of exchange bias on gate voltages, the same correlation between carrier density and exchange spring stiffness is demonstrated. Besides the fundamental significance of modulating the spin structures in metallic AFM via all-electrical fashion, the present finding would advance the development of low-power-consumption AFM spintronics.

A Facile Solvothermal Synthesis of Monodisperse Ni Nanoparticles

A simple solvothermal approach was developed to synthesize uniform spherical monodisperse Ni nanoparticles, which can easily disperse in nonpolar solvents to form homogenous colloidal solution. The as-prepared sample was characterized by XRD, TEM, and FTIR. The results indicate that Ni nanoparticles have the structure of face-centered cube and a narrow distribution with a diameter of （3.5±0.5） nm. The FTIR spectrum reveals that the nanoparticles are coated with oleic acid. In the synthetic process, N2H4·H2O was used as a reducing agent and oleic acid as a surfactant. The probable formation mechanism of the spherical nanoparticles was also discussed.

Hetu: a highly efficient automatic parallel distributed deep learning system

On July 18, 2021, the PKU-DAIR Lab1)(Data and Intelligence Research Lab at Peking University) openly released the source code of Hetu, a highly efficient and easy-to-use distributed deep learning(DL) framework. Hetu is the first distributed DL system developed by academic groups in Chinese universities, and takes into account both high availability in industry and innovation in academia. Through independent research and development, Hetu is completely decoupled from the existing DL systems and has unique characteristics. The public release of the Hetu system will help researchers and practitioners to carry out frontier MLSys(machine learning system) research and promote innovation and industrial upgrading.

近年来,铁道车辆迅速发展,但伴随着的安全问题也愈发引起的社会关注,其中脱轨问题毋庸置疑成为人们关注的焦点,所以对于铁道车辆的脱轨检测技术的研究具有重大意义。经过长时间的探索研究,前人使用经典的脱轨系数、轮重减载率等指标判断铁道车辆是否面临脱轨风险时,存在日常运营车辆的轮轨力难以检测、信息传递滞后等问题。针对以上问题,本文首先进行铁道车辆脱轨模拟仿真实验,确定轮对脱轨失效显著且易测的脱轨特征物理量即轮对横向加速度和侧倾角;其次,使用复合传感器检测仿真模拟时的轮对运行状态,通过实时检测车辆运行时轮对的状态,从而设计出一种脱轨的在线检测方案;然后,基于铁道车辆脱轨模拟仿真实验,分析铁道车辆行驶在直线与曲线工况下的轮对脱轨时对应的观测量阈值,并对车辆行驶在曲线路段设置的超高所引入的额外侧倾角进行补偿;最后,根据脱轨检测方案设计一套脱轨检测与预警系统,采用仿真算例来验证设计方案的可行性与有效性。研究结果表明:设计的脱轨检测技术方案可实现对车辆脱轨故障的有效检测,能有效支撑脱轨预警系统的开发,达到保护乘客和车辆安全的目的。此研究对于铁道车辆的快速安全发展具有一定的价值,为铁道车辆的脱轨检测技术的研究提供了更多思路。

Single-crystalline silicon materials with large dimensions have been widely used as assemblies in plasma silicon etching ***,information about large-diameter low-cost preparation technology has not been sufficiently *** this paper,it was focused on the preparation of 400-mm silicon（100） crystal lightly doped with boron from *** *** uniformity and oxygen concentration of the silicon crystal were investigated by direct-current（DC） four-point probes method and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR）,*** global heat transfer,melt flow and oxygen distribution were calculated by finite element method（FEM）.The results show that *** zones can replace conventional 32 *** to grow 400-mm-diameter silicon single *** change in crucible diameter can save energy,reduce cost and improve *** trend of oxygen distribution obtained in calculations is in good agreement with experimental *** present model can well predict the 400-mm-diameter silicon crystal growth and is essential for the optimization of furnace design and process condition.

Numerical analysis of solid–liquid interface shape during largesize single crystalline silicon with Czochralski method

Numerical analysis is an effective tool to research the industrial Czochralski （CZ） crystal growth aiming to improve crystal quality and reduce manufactur- ing costs. In this study, a set of global simulations were carried out to investigate the effect of crystal-crucible rotation and pulling rate on melt convection and solid- liquid （SL） interface shape. Through analyses of the sim- ulation data, it is found that the interface deformation and inherent stress increase during the crystal growth process. The interface deflection increases from 7.4 to 51.3 mm with an increase in crystal size from 150 to 400 mm. In addition, the SL interface shape and flow pattern are sen- sitive to pulling rate and rotation rate. Reducing pulling rate can flat SL interface shape and add energy-consuming. Interface with low deflection can be achieved by adopting certain combination of crystal and crucible rotation rates. The effect of crystal rotation on SL interface shape is less significant at higher crucible rotation rates.

Isoflavone Regulates Lipid Metabolism via Expression of Related Genes in OVX Rats Fed on a High-fat Diet

Objective To investigate the effects of isoflavone on body weight, fat mass, and gene expression in relation to lipid metabolism. Methods Thirty-six female SD rats were ovariectomized or sham-operated and fed on a high-fat diet. Two months later, abdominal incision was made, blood was collected to separate serum, and the liver and adipose tissue were immediately collected and weighed. Some portions of these tissues were frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80℃. Results Ovariectomy （OVX） with a high-fat diet could induce obesity in rats, while treatment with isoflavone significantly inhibited the increase in body weight and fat mass in abdomen. Serum total cholesterol and leptin were significantly decreased in isoflavone group, compared with the OVX group. The mRNA expression of liver fatty acid synthase （FAS） in the OVX group was significantly higher than that in sham-operated group, while this difference was not observed in the isoflavone group. The mRNA expression of liver hormone-sensitive lipase （HSL） in the OVX rats tended to be lower than that in the sham-operated rats. Furthermore, a large amount of isoflavone maintained the mRNA expression at a sham level. Conclusion Isoflavone may prevent obesity induced by ovariectomy with a high-fat diet, in part by modulating gene expression related to lipid metabolism.

The Limu tin deposits located in the Nanling tin and tungsten-polymetallic ore belt are now facing resource depletion after decades of *** mineral exploration therefore has become an urgent *** mineral exploration around the Limu crisis mines as an example,we introduce a breakthrough method of how the three-field theory,i.e.,the material,energy and spatial fields,is applied to intensively studies areas,a history of years of mineral exploitation and complex ore-forming *** a cue from Limu regional metallogeny,we based our investigation on the metallogenic information from geology,geophysics,geochemistry and remote *** conducted our study of the three-field integrated information system,associated with metallogenic prognoses from deposits,with assignments and calculations which correct and allocate synthetic metallogenic prognosis by relying on *** submitted a synthetic metallogenic prognosis map of tin in Limu where we delineated three ore target areas.A breakthrough was achieved by finding about 4785 t of tin metal outside the Shiziling deposit,which has been confirmed by *** successful application in Limu shows that this three-field theory is of scientific and practical importance and deserves to be extended to utilization.
