This study proposes two speed controllers based on a robust adaptive non-singular terminal sliding mode control approach for the cooperative adaptive cruise control problem in a connected and automated vehicular *** delay-based spacing policy is adopted to guarantee that all vehicles in the platoon track the same target velocity profile at the same position while maintaining a predefined time *** such as nonlinear vehicle longitudinal dynamics,engine dynamics with time delay,undulating road profiles,parameter uncertainties,and external disturbances are considered in the system modeling and controller *** control objectives are assigned to the leading and following ***,controllers consisting of a sliding mode controller with parameter adaptive laws based on the ego vehicle’s state deviation and linear coupled state errors,and a Smith predictor for time delay compensation are *** inner stability and strong string stability are guaranteed in the case of nonlinear sliding ***,the effectiveness of the proposed controllers and the benefits of 44.73%shorter stabilization time,11.20%less speed overshoot,and virtually zero steady-state inner vehicle distance deviation are illustrated in a simulation study of a seven-vehicle platoon cooperative adaptive cruise control and comparison experiments with a coupled sliding mode control approach.

The structural flexibility of hybrid perovskite materials allows for phase transition and consequently thermochromic *** we investigate the thermochromic performance in a series of copper-based layered perovskites with organic cations having different alky chain lengths. Their transition temperature is found to be dependent on the organic cations due to molecular motion and hydrogen bond interaction, providing possibilities to prepare thermochromic semiconductors near room temperature for smart window applications.

Bubbles have very important applications in many fields such as shipbuilding engineering, ocean engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, medical science and so on. In this paper, the research status and the development of the bubble dynamics in terms of theory, numerical simulation and experimental technique are reviewed, which cover the underwater explosion bubble, airgun bubble, spark bubble, laser bubble, rising bubble, propeller cavitation bubble, water entry/exit cavitation bubble and bubble dynamics in other fields. Former researchers have done a lot of researches on bubble dynamics and gained fruitful achievements. However, due to the complexity of the bubble motion, many tough mechanical problems remain to be solved. Based on the research progress of bubble dynamics, this paper gives the future research direction of bubble dynamics, aiming to provide references for researches related to bubble dynamics.

The FePC-based bulk metallic glasses（BMGs）have been demonstrated to possess high plasticity and good soft magnetic ***,the relatively poor glass forming ability（GFA）and thermal stabilities limited their application in *** effects of microalloying with B in FePC-based BMGs on the GFA and thermal behaviors were systematically *** was found that a small amount of B addition can dramatically enhance the GFA of FePC-based BMGs,which in turn leads to the critical maximum diameter up to 2 mm for full glass formation even using low cost raw *** underlying mechanism of the enhancement of GFA from the competing crystalline phase with amorphous phase,the average thermal expansion coefficient and dynamic viscosity were discussed in detail.

Morphology, size and distribution of MnS inclusions in non-quenched and tempered steel during heat treatment

This article reports the morphology, size, and distribution evolution of MnS inclusions in non-quenched and tempered steel during heat treatment. The variation of single large-sized MnS inclusions at high temperature was observed in situ using a confocal scanning laser microscope （CSLM）. The slender MnS inclusions first changed to pearl-like slrings. These small-sized pearls subsequently coalesced and became closer together as the temperature increased. Large-sized MnS inclusions in non-quenched and tempered steel samples with different thermal histories were investigated with respect to the evolution of their morphology, size, and distribution. After 30 min of ovulation at 1573 K, the percentage of MnS inclusions larger than 3 μm decreased from 50.5% to 3.0%. After a 3 h making period, Ostwald ripening occurred. Most MnS inclusions moved from the grain bounda- ries to the interior. The present study demonstrates that heat treatment is an effective method of changing the morphology, size, and distribution of MnS inclusions, especially large-sized ones.

Focused exploration of earth-abundant and cost-efficient non-noble metal electrocatalysts with superior hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)performance is very important for large-scale and efficient electrolysis of ***,a sandwich composite structure(designed as MS-Mo2C@NCNS)ofβ-Mo2C hollow nanotubes(HNT)and N-doped carbon nanosheets(NCNS)is designed and prepared using a binary NaCl–KCl molten salt(MS)strategy for *** temperature-dominant Kirkendall formation mechanism is tentatively proposed for such a three-dimensional hierarchical *** to its attractive structure and componential synergism,MS-Mo2C@NCNS exposes more effective active sites,confers robust structural stability,and shows significant electrocatalytic activity/stability in HER,with a current density of 10 mA cm-2 and an overpotential of only 98 mV in 1 M *** functional theory calculations point to the synergistic effect of Mo2C HNT and NCNS,leading to enhanced electronic transport and suitable adsorption free energies of H*(ΔGH*)on the surface of electroactive *** significantly,the MS-assisted synthetic methodology here provides an enormous perspective for the commercial development of highly active non-noble metal electrocatalysts toward efficient hydrogen evolution.

The incineration of sacrificial offerings is a significant widely practiced custom that is also a kind of neglected air pollution source in *** results showed that the emission factors of particulate matter,SO_(2),CO,NO_(x),and VOCs emitted from the incineration of sacrificial offerings with purification systems were reduced by 95%,19%,9%,82%,and 42%,respectively,compared with those without a purification system,revealing a significant effect of the flue gas purification system on reducing particulate matter and gaseous *** emission level of air pollutants from the incineration of sacrificial offerings remained stable before 2013 and then showed a remarkable decrease after the implementation of China′s Air Pollution Prevention Action Plan in *** emissions of TSP(total suspended particulate),PM_(10),PM_(2.5),and NO_(x)in 2009 were 8222,6106,5656 and 15,878 ton,respectively,obviously higher than 3434,2551,2305 and 8579 ton in *** trend was affected by both the quantity of incineration and the installation rate of purification systems after the Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Crematory(GB 13801-2015)issued in *** spatial distribution of atmospheric pollutants from incineration of sacrificial offerings was found with higher in the east and south of China than the west and north of China,which is proportional to the regional economy and *** maximum ground-level concentration typically occurred at 0.12-0.2 km from the pollution source,posing potential health risks to people entering and exiting funeral and burial sites and nearby residents.

The combustion process of Yangquan anthracite（YQ） with the addition of 0.045wt%, 0.211wt%, 1.026wt%, and 2.982wt% chlorine was investigated using a thermogravimetric method from an ambient temperature to 1173 K in an air atmosphere. Results show that the YQ combustion characteristics are not significantly affected by an increase in chlorine content. Data acquired for combustion conversion are then further processed for kinetic analysis. Average apparent activation energies determined using the model-free method（specifically the KAS method） are 103.025, 110.250, 99.906, and 110.641 k J/mol, respectively, and the optimal kinetic model for describing the combustion process of chlorine-containing YQ is the nucleation kinetic model, as determined by the z（α） master plot method. The mechanism function of the nucleation kinetic model is then employed to estimate the pre-exponential factor, by making use of the compensation effect. The kinetic models to describe chlorine-containing YQ combustion are thus obtained through advanced determination of the optimal mechanism function, average apparent activation energy, and the pre-exponential factor.

With the developing demands of massive-data services,the applications that rely on big geographic data play crucial roles in academic and industrial *** aerial vehicles(UAVs),combining with terrestrial wireless sensor networks(WSN),can provide sustainable solutions for data *** rising demands for efficient data collection in a larger open area have been posed in the literature,which requires efficient UAV trajectory planning with lower energy consumption ***,there are amounts of inextricable solutions of UAV planning for a larger open area,and one of the most practical techniques in previous studies is deep reinforcement learning(DRL).However,the overestimated problem in limited-experience DRL quickly throws the UAV path planning process into a locally optimized ***,using the central nodes of the sub-WSNs as the sink nodes or navigation points for UAVs to visit may lead to extra collection *** paper develops a data-driven DRL-based game framework with two partners to fulfill the above demands.A cluster head processor(CHP)is employed to determine the sink nodes,and a navigation order processor(NOP)is established to plan the *** and NOP receive information from each other and provide optimized solutions after the Nash *** numerical results show that the proposed game framework could offer UAVs low-cost data collection trajectories,which can save at least 17.58%of energy consumption compared with the baseline methods.

Efficient direct heating of electrons by ion Bernstein waves has been obtained on the HT-7 ***-axis heating,which is considered to be the result of electron Landau damping,was observed and studied by means of soft x-ray *** measured power deposition was found to be independent of magnetic field through scanning the toroidal field from 1.5 to 1.7 T,in contrast to the ion heating *** is suggested that the electron Landau damping is dominant in this heating regime.
