As an emerging type of important macrocycles for supramolecular chemistry,pillararenes and their derivatives have been widely studied and applied in numerous fields,which intensively promotes the development of chemistry,materials science and ***-based theranostic systems are of special interest in the biological and medical areas as they have shown very promising *** to easy preparation,reliable guest affinity,good biocompatibility and stability,pillararenes are frequently used to construct functional *** one hand,pillararenes can either be used individually or form diversiform self-assemblies such as micelles,nanoparticles and vesicles to increase water solubility and biocompatibility of *** the other hand,it is promising to modify solid materials like framework materials,silica nanoparticles and graphene oxides with pillararene derivatives to enhance their functions and *** this review,we summarize recent endeavors of pillararene-based supramolecular systems with theranostics and other biological applications comprising drug delivery/chemotherapy,photodynamic/photothermal therapy,antimicrobials,bioimaging,*** introducing several typical examples,the design principles,preparation strategies,identifications and bio-applications of these pillararene-based supramolecular systems are *** challenges and directions of this field are also outlined.

Functional Tregs play a key role in tumor development and progression,representing a major barrier to anticancer *** mechanisms by which Tregs are generated in cancer and the influence of the tumor microenvironment on these processes remain incompletely ***,by using NMR,chemoenzymatic structural assays and a plethora of in vitro and in vivo functional analyses,we demonstrate that the tumoral carbohydrate A10(Ca10),a cell-surface carbohydrate derived from Ehrlich’s tumor(ET)cells,is a heparan sulfate-related proteoglycan that enhances glycolysis and promotes the development of tolerogenic features in human ***10-stimulated human DCs generate highly suppressive Tregs by mechanisms partially dependent on metabolic reprogramming,PD-L1,iL-10,and ***10 also reprograms the differentiation of human monocytes into DCs with tolerogenic *** solid ET-bearing mice,we found positive correlations between Ca10 serum levels,tumor size and splenic Treg *** of isolated Ca10 also increases the proportion of splenic Tregs in tumor-free ***,we provide evidence supporting the presence of a circulating human Ca10 counterpart(Ca10H)and show,for the first time,that serum levels of Ca10H are increased in patients suffering from different cancer types compared to healthy *** note,these levels are higher in prostate cancer patients with bone metastases than in prostate cancer patients without ***,we reveal novel molecular mechanisms by which heparan sulfate-related structures associated with tumor cells promote the generation of functional Tregs in *** discovery of this novel structural-functional relationship may open new avenues of research with important clinical implications in cancer treatment.

目的:经颅磁刺激(TMS)已成为有效且安全的治疗方法,用于诊断患有重度抑郁症但尚未发现抗抑郁药有益的患者。迄今为止,大多数研究都集中在治疗抵抗性抑郁症(TRD)上,并且缺乏将TMS作为一线治疗进行调查的试验。方法:本研究旨在比较33名未接受药物治疗的患者与33名TRD患者的比较组中35次间歇性theta爆发刺激(iTBS)的疗效。目标将通过左背外侧前额叶皮层(iDLFPC)上的神经导航定位。PHQ9评分量表用于比较rTMS刺激前和后的疗效。结果:所有36名患者都完成了研究,没有明显的副作用。两组35次治疗后部分缓解的比例为26%,无反应的比例为7%。比较两组TMS前后PHQ9评分的P值评分为P <0.001。交互治疗PHQ9分数的P=0.171。结论:本研究表明,TMS不仅适用于难治性抑郁症患者,也适用于从未服药的患者,可作为一线治疗。

ischemic brain injury triggers neuronal cell death by apoptosis via caspase activation and by necroptosis through activation of the receptor-interacting protein kinases （RiPK） associated with the tumor necrosis factor-alpha （TNF-a）/death receptor. Recent evidence shows RiPK inhibitors are neuroprotective and al- leviate ischemic brain injury in a number of animal models, however, most have not yet undergone clinical trials and safety in humans remains in question. Dabrafenib, originally identified as a B-raf inhibitor that is currently used to treat melanoma, was later revealed to be a potent RiPK3 inhibitor at micromolar con- centrations. Here, we investigated whether Dabrafenib would show a similar neuroprotective effect in mice subjected to ischemic brain injury by photothrombosis. Dabrafenib administered intraperitoneally at 10 mg/ kg one hour after photothrombosis-induced focal ischemic injury significantly reduced infarct lesion size in C57BL6 mice the following day, accompanied by a markedly attenuated upregulation of TNF-u. However, subsequent lower doses （5 mg/kg/day） failed to sustain this neuroprotective effect after 4 days. Dabrafenib bl ocked lipopolysaccharides-induced activation of TNF-ct in bone marrow-derived macrophages, suggesting that Dabrafenib may attenuate TNF-ct-induced necroptotic pathway after ischemic brain injury. Since Dab- rafenib is already in clinical use for the treatment of melanoma, it might be repurposed for stroke therapy.

The behavioral responses of virgin and mated female Anastrepha striata Schiner （Diptera： Tephritidae） to guava （Psidium guajava L.） or sweet orange （Citrus sinensis L.） were evaluated separately using multilure traps in two-choice tests in field cages. The results showed that flies were more attracted to guava and sweet orange volatiles than to control （unbaited trap）. The physiological state （virgin or mated） of females did not affect their attraction to the fruit volatiles. combined analysis of gas chromatography coupled with electroantennography （GC-EAD） of volatile extracts of both fruits showed that 1 and 6 compounds from orange and guava, respectively elicited repeatable antennal responses from mated females. The EAD active compounds in guava volatile extracts were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry （GC-MS） as ethyl butyrate, （Z）-3-hexenol, hexanol, ethyl hexanoate, hexyl acetate, and ethyl octanoate. Linalool was identified as the only antennal active compound in sweet orange extracts. in field cage tests, there were no significant differences between the number of mated flies captured by the traps baited with guava extracts and the number caught by traps baited with the 6-component blend that was formulated according to the relative proportions in the guava extracts. Similar results occurred when synthetic linalool was evaluated against orange extracts. From a practical point of view, the compounds identified in this study could be used for monitoring A. striata populations.
