Let Z_(4) be the ring of integers modulo *** study the Λ-constacyclic and(θ,Λ)-cyclic codes over the non-chain ring R=Z_(4)[u,v]/for a unit Λ=1+2u+2v in *** define several Gray maps and find that the respective Gray images of a quasi-cyclic code over Z_(4) are cyclic,quasi-cyclic or permutation equivalent to this *** an odd positive integer n,we determine the generator polynomials of cyclic and Λ-constacyclic codes of length n over ***,we prove that a(θ,Λ)-cyclic code of length n is a Λ-constacyclic code if n is odd,and a Λ-quasi-twisted code if n is even.A few examples are also incorporated,in which two parameters are new and one is best known to date.

Background and Objective:Advances in teleophthalmology and artificial intelligence(Ai)for diabetic retinal screening is of growing public health ***,only 30–40%of patients with diabetes adhere to recommended diabetes screening *** enhance early detection and reduce vision threatening complications,there has been a growing number of teleophthalmology programs and novel Ai algorithms with the aim to improve eye care *** purpose of this review is to assess current literature on teleophthalmology and Ai for use in diabetic retinopathy(DR)screening,and to discuss advances and barriers to these innovative ***:Literature review involving teleophthalmology and Ai for DR screening,with focus on the past *** content and Findings:Teleophthalmology has demonstrated the ability to increase DR screening rates,enable earlier eye care access,and reduce healthcare *** Ai-based DR screening programs appear accurate and effective,but detection of other ocular pathologies is still under development and not yet approved in the United ***,technological,financial,and legal barriers limit widespread adoption and long-term sustainability of teleophthalmology ***:The use of teleophthalmology and Ai algorithms expands eye care access and helps prevent vision loss from DR and potentially other sight threatening *** in the process utilized for arriving at a particular diagnosis or decision to refer,often referred to as the“black box”,remains a multifaceted issue within the field of telemedicine for developing trust and improving patient-centered outcomes.

The combination of flow elasticity and inertia has emerged as a viable tool for focusing and manipulating particles using *** there is considerable interest in the field of elasto-inertial microfluidics owing to its potential applications,research on particle focusing has been mostly limited to low Reynolds numbers(Reicle migration toward equilibrium positions has not been extensively *** this work,we thoroughly studied particle focusing on the dynamic range of flow rates and particle migration using straight microchannels with a single inlet high aspect *** initially explored several parameters that had an impact on particle focusing,such as the particle size,channel dimensions,concentration of viscoelastic fluid,and flow *** experimental work covered a wide range of dimensionless numbers(0.05issenberg numbericity numbering 3,5,7,and 10μm *** results showed that the particle size played a dominant role,and by tuning the parameters,particle focusing could be achieved at Reynolds numbers ranging from 0.2(1μL/min)to 85(250μL/min).Furthermore,we numerically and experimentally studied particle migration and reported differential particle migration for high-resolution separations of 5μm,7μm and 10μm particles in a sheathless flow at a throughput of 150μL/*** work elucidates the complex particle transport in elasto-inertial flows and has great potential for the development of high-throughput and high-resolution particle separation for biomedical and environmental applications.

Shorebird populations are declining worldwide,mainly due to human disturbances and loss of coastal ***,supratidal habitats as saltpans could play a role in buffering human *** have shown to be important as feeding or breeding sites of some shorebird species.A potential conservation strategy to increase shorebird populations in saltpans is to manipulate the cues that birds use to select optimal breeding *** it is hypothesized that shorebirds are attracted to bivalve shells due to the advantages they *** this hypothesis,we supplemented a restored saltpan in 2019 and 2021 with bivalve shells,expecting an increase in the number of breeding birds’ *** than 75% of Kentish Plover(Charadrius alexandrinus) and Little Tern(Sternula albifrons) nests were found in patches with shells in both *** best model for both species indicates that the presence of shells is the factor that most correlates with the location of *** probability of choosing one place over another to settle their nest increases in areas with an abundance of shells,double in the case of the Kentish Plover and triple in the case of the Little *** result of this study may constitute a valuable tool for attracting birds to restored saltpans and could contribute to the success of expensive restoration projects where time is usually a constraint.

Background:Failure to rescue has been an effective quality metric in congenital heart ***,mor-bidity and mortality depend greatly on non-modifiable individual factors and have a weak correlation with better-quality *** aim to measure the complications,mortality,and risk factors in pediatric patients undergoing congenital heart surgery in a high-complexity institution located in a middle-income country and compare it with other institutions that have conducted a similar ***:A retrospective observational study was conducted in a high-complexity service provider institution,in Cali,*** pediatric patients undergoing any congenital heart surgery between 2019 and 2022 were *** main outcomes evaluated in the study were complication,mortality,and failure to rescue *** and multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed with mortality as the outcome ***:We evaluated 308 congenital heart *** the outcomes,201(65%)complications occurred,23(7.5%)patients died,and the FTR of the entire cohort was 11.4%.The presence of a postoperative complication(OR 14.88,Ci 3.06–268.37,p=0.009),age(OR 0.79,Ci 0.57–0.96,p=0.068),and urgent/emergent surgery(OR 8.14,Ci 2.97–28.66,pignificant variables in predicting ***:Failure to rescue is an effective and comparable quality measure in healthcare institutions and is the major contributor to postoperative mortality in congenital heart *** our higher mortality and complication rate,we obtained a comparable failure to rescue rate to high-income countries’health institutions.

Purpose:This study aimed to quantify the dose-response association and the minimal effective dose of leisure-time physical activity(PA)to prevent mortality and cardiovascular disease in adults with type 2 ***:Cross-country comparison of 2 prospective cohort studies including 14,913 and 17,457 population-based adults with type 2 diabetes from the UK and *** leisure-time PA was self-reported and categorized by metabolic equivalent hours per week(MET-h/week)according to World Health Organization recommendations:none,below recommendation(>0-7.49 MET-h/week);at recommended level(7.5-14.9 MET-h/week);above recommendation(>15 MET-h/week).Mortality and cardiovascular disease data were obtained from national ***:During a median follow-up of 12.4 and 9.7 years,in the UK and China cohorts,repectively,higher levels of leisure-time PA were inversely associated with all-cause(1571 and 2351 events)and cardiovascular mortality(392 and 1060 events),mostly consistent with a linear dose-response *** below,at,and above recommendations,compared with no activity,yielded all-cause mortality hazard ratios of0.94(95%confidence interval(95%Ci):0.79-1.12),0.90(95%Ci:0.74-1.10),and 0.85(95%Ci:0.70-1.02)in British adults and 0.87(95%Ci:0.68-1.10),0.88(95%Ci:0.74-1.03),and 0.77(95%Ci:0.70-0.85)in Chinese *** with cardiovascular mortality were more pronounced in British adults(0.80(95%Ci:0.58-1.11),0.75(95%Ci:0.52-1.09),and 0.69(95%Ci:0.48-0.97))but less pronounced in Chinese adults(1.06(95%Ci:0.76-1.47),1.01(95%Ci:0.80-1.28),and 0.79(95%Ci:0.69-0.92)).PA at recommended levels was not associated with lower rates of major adverse cardiovascular events(2345 and 4458 events).conclusion:Leisure-time PA at the recommended levels was not convincingly associated with lower mortality and had no association with risk of major adverse cardiovascular events in British or Chinese adults with type 2 ***-time PA above current recom

Objective:To investigate the role of acupressure therapy in helping pregnant women with HG reduce the frequency or severity of vomiting and relieve stress and ***:A quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design and non-equivalent group design was ***-six valid data points were obtained from pregnant mothers diagnosed with HG in a general hospital in Linyi *** pregnant women received either acupressure(n=33)or general therapeutic care(n=33).They completed standardized questionnaires designed to assess vomiting,anxiety,and stress ***:Data showed no differences between the experimental and control groups before the *** the intervention,there were significant differences in anxiety(P≤0.05)and stress(P≤0.05)scores between the two ***,there was no significant difference in vomiting scores(P>0.05)between the two groups after the *** anxiety and stress scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group post-intervention,while the vomiting scores of the two groups were ***:The findings suggest that acupressure significantly reduces anxiety and stress in pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum(HG)and also helps reduce *** presents a viable clinical option for pregnant women seeking relief from HG symptoms.
