Nanoscale dimensions and remarkable properties of carbon nanotubes make them promising building blocks for *** requirement is the need to manipulate single or multiple carbon nanotubes to bridge electronic *** this paper,multi-walled carbon nanotubes with a variety of sizes are assembled onto electrodes using alternative current electric felds by *** effect of the dielectrophoretic parameters and the nanotube size as well as the length uniformity on the assembly is experimentally ***–voltage characteristics of assembled carbon nanotubes are *** experimental results showed that both the dielectrophoretic parameters and length uniformity of carbon nanotubes have an infuence on the stability of assembly *** uniform carbon nanotubes with an appropriate length and suffcient stiffness,which are more controllable by dielectrophoresis,is necessary for an assembly of a small number of carbon nanotubes.

The adhesive tensile stress between moist bulk iron ore solids and wall surfaces are critical to control and avoid blockage in large throughput material handling *** this study,an experimental system was designed to investigate the adhesive tensile contact between a range of iron ore materials and wall lining *** contact mechanism between the material specimen and the wall surface was initially *** experimental results indicated that the adhesive tensile stress is dependent on both the moisture content and the applied major consolidation stress,with the former exhibiting more significant contribution to increasing the magnitude of *** surface roughness of the wall showed a negligible effect in determining the adhesive tensile ***,the iron ore sample with a higher fines content was observed to be able to achieve a higher adhesive tensile stress compared to the coarse ***,the insights resulting from the study demonstrated practical applicability through measures such as blending and/or beneficiation,which reduce the adhesive tensile stress and minimise blockages.

This study tests the relationship between the hierarchical position of cities in the global economy and a typology of cultural,economic,political,and social external relations,namely city *** conduct this test on a sample of 46 Chinese cities,seeking to bridge otherwise separate existing theories on the structure of the world city hierarchy and varied dimensions of city *** to expectations,we find that the aggregate of the typology of city diplomacy,rather than only the economic dimension,is most closely associated with position in the world city *** tentatively suggests that the collective effect of internationally-oriented cultural,economic,political and social activities in Chinese cities reflect the global structure of the highest levels of globalized urban wealth.

Diatraea saccharalis is a major corn borer pest. Midgut serine proteinases are essential for insect growth and development. Alteration of midgut proteinases is re- sponsible for Bt resistance development in some species. To clone midgut trypsin and chymotrypsin cDNAs and to test if the CrylAb resistance in D. saccharalis is associ- ated with changes in midgut proteinases, total midgut tryptic and chymotryptic activities, cDNA sequences, and gene expressions of three trypsin and three chymotrypsin genes were comparatively examined between Cry 1 Ab-susceptible （Cry 1 Ab- S S） and Cry 1 Ab-resistant （Cry 1 Ab-RR） strains. Full-length cDNAs encoding three trypsin- and three chymotrypsin- like proteinases were sequenced from CrylAb-SS and CrylAb-RR larvae. These cDNAs code for active forms of midgut serine proteinases with all fimctional motifs, includ- ing signal peptide, conserved His-Asp-Ser for the catalytic triad, three pairs of cysteines for disulfide bridge configurations, and conserved substrate specificity determination residues. In general, cDNA and putative protein sequences are highly similar between CrylAb-SS and CrylAb-RR strains, except for a few nucleotide and predicted amino acid substitutions, whose function need to be further clarified. Total trypsin and chymotrypsin activities were also similar between CrylAb-SS and CrylAb-RR strains. Transcriptional levels of the trypsin and chymotrypsin genes had numerical difference between Cry 1 Ab-SS and CrylAb-RR strains, but the difference was not statistically significant. Data suggest that the development of CrylAb resistance in D. saccharalis was not significantly as- sociated with these trypsins and chymotrypsins. Results clarified the role of six midgut proteinases and provided a foundation for continuing examination of potential involvement of other midgut proteinases in Bt resistance development and other important biochemical processes.

This article focuses on the investigation of the correlation between thermal bridging and various geometric configurations. The article employs QuickField software for conducting three-dimensional steady-state heat transfer simulations to investigate the thermal behaviors of diverse geometric shapes. Significantly, this study involves the simulation of four distinct geometries including concrete circular, square, rectangular, and triangular column through an insulated concrete layer while all geometries maintain the consistent surface areas. The simulations yield findings indicating that circular thermal bridging has the best thermal performance, while rectangular thermal bridging displays comparatively the lowest thermal efficiency. Furthermore, the results indicate that alterations in the perimeter of thermal bridge interfaces, while maintaining a constant area, exert a more pronounced influence on the thermal performance of the geometries compared to proportional changes in area while preserving the perimeter. The study’s findings aid building designers and architects in creating more energy-efficient structural and architectural elements by incorporating thermally efficient geometries and forms. .

目的研究黄龙府非物质文化遗产的视觉化设计与开发的途径。方法从文化保护与传承创新的视角出发,分析黄龙府非物质文化遗产与视觉化设计之间的关系,结合黄龙府春捺钵视觉化设计实践,论述视觉化设计与开发黄龙府非物质文化遗产的途径,试图在文化保护与传承创新之间架起一座行之有效的现代视觉表达的桥梁。结论黄龙府非物质文化遗产的视觉化表达是解决其生存问题的必然选择,更是促进其发展的有效手段,可以通过符号化形象、文创产品、交互性界面三种途径进行视觉化设计与开发,这对传承黄龙府非遗文化、展示优秀的文化和建设成就、增强本土文化自信具有重要的理论意义和现实意义。同时,也只有进行这样创造性的转化,才能实现黄龙府非遗文化的当代价值。
