The standard epoxy resin curing agents revealed are from unsustainable petroleum-based sources,which produce poisonous exhaust when *** acids,a bio-based epoxy curing agent with amino and carboxyl groups,are another potential curing ***-soluble epoxy resins cured with lysine(Lys),glutamic acid(Glu),leucine(leu),and serine(Ser)as amino acids were *** results showed that the water-soluble epoxy resin(glycerol epoxy resins,GER)was cured with Lys and Glu after *** transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopic analysis of the GER-Lys showed that the amino and carboxyl groups of Lys primarily reacted with the epoxy groups of *** elongation at break of Lys-cured GER(GER-Lys)cured at 70℃ with a molar ratio of 1꞉0.75 was 75.32%.The fact that elongations at break of GER-Lys(79.43%)were higher than those of GER-Glu(17.33%),respectively supports the decrease of crosslinking density by the amino acid-cured GER *** potential of Lys and Glu alternatives for petrochemical amines is demonstrated and provides promising opportunities for industrial application.

GJB2 gene mutations are the most common causes of autosomal recessive non-syndromic hereditary *** individuals suffering from severe to profound GJB2-related deafness,cochlear implants have emerged as the sole remedy for auditory *** previous studies have highlighted the crucial role of preserving cochlear neural components in achieving favorable outcomes after cochlear ***,we generated a conditional knockout mouse model(Cx26-CKO)in which Cx26 was completely deleted in the cochlear supporting cells driven by the Sox2 *** Cx26-CKO mice showed severe hearing loss and massive loss of hair cells and Deiter’s cells,which represented the extreme form of human deafness caused by GJB2 gene *** addition,multiple pathological changes in the peripheral auditory nervous system were found,including abnormal innervation,demyelination,and degeneration of spiral ganglion neurons as well as disruption of heminodes in Cx26-CKO *** findings provide invaluable insights into the deafness mechanism and the treatment for severe deafness in Cx26-null mice.

Here,we report a concise and divergent enantioselective total synthesis of marine sesquiterpene quinone meroterpenoids(+)-dysidavarones A–C(1–3)using predysidavarone 6 as a key common *** highly strained and bridged eight-membered carbocycle of predysidavarone 6 was constructed by a one-pot intermolecular alkylation and intramolecular arylation of Wieland–Miescher ketone derivative 11 and benzyl bromide *** total synthesis of(+)-dysidavarones A–C(1–3)was achieved from predysidavarone 6 in a divergent manner by a late-stage introduction of the ethoxy group,which reveals the possible source of the ethoxy group within(+)-dysidavarones A–C(1–3)and provides a late-stage modifiable route for the synthesis of dysidavarone analogs for further anti-cancer activity evaluation.

The emerging virtual coupling technology aims to operate multiple train units in a Virtually Coupled Train Set(VCTS)at a minimal but safe *** guarantee collision avoidance,the safety distance should be calculated using the state-of-the-art space-time separation principle that separates the Emergency Braking(EB)trajectories of two successive units during the whole EB *** this case,the minimal safety distance is usually numerically calculated without an analytic ***,the constrained VCTS control problem is hard to address with space-time separation,which is still a gap in the existing *** solve this problem,we propose a Distributed Economic Model Predictive Control(DEMPC)approach with computation efficiency and theoretical ***,to alleviate the computation burden,we transform implicit safety constraints into explicitly linear ones,such that the optimal control problem in DEMPC is a quadratic programming problem that can be solved *** theoretical analysis,sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the recursive feasibility and stability of DEMPC,employing compatibility constraints,tube techniques and terminal ingredient ***,we extend our approach with globally optimal and distributed online EB configuration methods to shorten the minimal distance among ***,experimental results demonstrate the performance and advantages of the proposed approaches.

Hand gesture recognition(HGR)plays a vital role in human-computer *** integration of high-density surface electromyography(HD-sEMG)and deep neural networks(DNNs)has significantly improved the robustness and accuracy of HGR *** methods are typically effective for a fixed set of trained ***,the need for new gesture classes over time poses a *** new classes to DNNs can lead to a substantial decrease in accuracy for previously learned tasks,a phenomenon known as“catastrophic forgetting,”especially when the training data for earlier tasks is not retained and *** issue is exacerbated in embedded devices with limited storage,which struggle to store the large-scale data of ***incremental learning(CIL)is an effective method to reduce catastrophic ***,existing CIL methods for HGR rarely focus on reducing memory *** address this,we propose a memory-friendly CIL method for HGR using *** approach includes a lightweight convolutional neural network,named SeparaNet,for feature representation learning,coupled with a nearest-mean-of-exemplars classifier for *** introduce a priority exemplar selection algorithm inspired by the herding effect to maintain a manageable set of exemplars during ***,a task-equal-weight exemplar sampling strategy is proposed to effectively reduce memory load while preserving high recognition *** results on two datasets demonstrate that our method significantly reduces the number of retained exemplars to only a quarter of that required by other CIL methods,accounting for less than 5%of the total samples,while still achieving comparable average accuracy.
