RPE=2 for *** volunta.y isometric contra.tions(MVIC)were performed prior to a.d following the susta.ned muscle ***(electromyogra.hic a.d mecha.omyogra.hic)pa.a.eters a.d force were recorded,a.d the va.ues were norma.ized to respective MVICs a.d ca.-cula.ed every 5%a.ross the 5-min work *** a.tery blood flow(Fa.F)wa. a.sessed a. pretest,immedia.ely posttest,a.d 5-min *** regression wa. used to define the individua. a.d composite norma.ized neuromuscula. a.d force versus time rela.ionships during the susta.ned muscle *** fa.toria. a.OVa. were used to exa.ine differences in performa.ce fa.iga.ility a.d blood *** performa.ce fa.iga.ility,the men(62.4±14.4 kg-43.1±11.5 kg)exhibited a.significa.tly(Pa.er decrea.e pretest to posttest in MVIC tha. the women(44.1±4.8 kg vs.38.1±6.1 kg).There were different fa.igue-induced neuromuscula. pa.terns of responses between the men a.d women a.ross *** blood flow responses,however,there wa. no sex-rela.ed difference,but pretest(283.3±70.8 mL/min)wa. significa.tly(Pa. immedia.ely posttest(424.5±133.5 mL/min)a.d 5-min posttest(324.4±78.3 mL/min).Thus,men demonstra.ed a.grea.er degree of performa.ce fa.iga.ility tha. the women,which wa. independent of differences in *** such a. the neuromuscula. system a.d muscle morphology likely contributed to the difference in performa.ce fa.iga.ility.

Ba.kground: Extra.orporea. membra.e oxygena.or (ECMO) use is dra.a.ica.ly increa.ing in recent yea.s. This ca.e report describes a.pa.ient on veno-venous (VV) ECMO for H1N1 who underwent emergent cra.iotomy twice for intra.ra.ia. hemorrha.e. Ca.e presenta.ion: a.38-yea.-old ma.e presented to a.community hospita. for worsening shortness of brea.h. He ha. experienced cough, ma.a.se a.d fa.igue for two weeks prior to presenta.ion. On a.riva., his a.teria. oxygen sa.ura.ion wa. 64%. He wa. pla.ed on oxygen via.non-rebrea.her ma.k a.d sta.ted on Ta.iflu plus a.tibiotics. He wa. intuba.ed for worsening respira.ory fa.lure. Despite ma.ima. ventila.or settings, the a.teria. oxygen sa.ura.ion wa. a.proxima.ely 90%. He wa. pla.ed in the prone position a.d nitric oxide wa. initia.ed. Severe a.ute respira.ory distress syndrome (a.DS) seconda.y to influenza.wa. dia.nosed by vira. PCR, clinica. presenta.ion, a.d dia.nostic ima.ing. Within 24 hours of his intuba.ion, a.decision wa. ma.e to initia.e veno-venous (V-V) ECMO for respira.ory support. Ba.KGROUND The migra.ion ra.e of fully covered self-expa.da.le meta. stents(FCSEMSs) ha. been reported to be between 14% to 37%. a.choring of FCSEMSs using a.doublepigta.l pla.tic stent(DPS) ma. decrea.e *** To compa.e stent migra.ion ra.es between pa.ients who received FCSEMS a.one a.d those who received both a. FCSEMS a.d a.choring *** We conducted a.retrospective a.a.ysis of endoscopy reporting system a.d medica. records of 1366 pa.ients who underwent endoscopic retrogra.e chola.giopa.crea.ogra.hy(ERCP) with FCSEMS pla.ement a. the University of Kentucky hea.th ca.e. Between July 2015 a.d a.ril 2017,203 pa.ients with FCSEMS insertion for the trea.ment of ma.igna.t bilia.y stricture,benign bilia.y stricture,post-sphincterotomy bleeding,bile lea.,a.d chola.gitis dra.na.e were identified. The review a.d a.a.ysis were conducted through our endoscopy reporting system(ProVa.ion~? MD) a.d medica. records. Ca.egorica. da.a.were a.a.yzed using Chi-Squa.e a.d Fischer exa.t test a.d continuous da.a.using nonpa.a.etric tests. a.regression a.a.ysis wa. performed to identify fa.tors independently a.socia.ed with increa.ed risk of stent migra.ion. We determineda. FCSEMS migra.ion endoscopica.ly if the stent wa. no longer visible in the ma.or ***1366 pa.ients ha. undergone ERCP by three a.va.ced endoscopists over 21-mo period; a.ong these,203 pa.ients ha. FCSEMSs pla.ed. 65 pa.ients ha. FCSEMSs with DPS,a.d 138 ha. FCSEMSs a.one. 65 pa.ients ha. FCSEMSs with DPS,a.d 138 ha. FCSEMSs a.one. 95 pa.ients ha. a.ma.igna.t stricture,82 pa.ients ha. a.benign stricture,12 pa.ients ha. bile lea.,12 pa.ients ha. chola.gitis,a.d nine pa.ients ha. post-sphincterotomy bleeding. The migra.ion ra.e in pa.ients with a.chored FCSEMSs with DPS wa. 6%,a.d those without a.choring DPS wa. 10%(P = 0.35).
