Performance of biotrickling filters packed with structured or cubic polyurethane sponges for VOC removal

Two identical bench-scale biotrickling filters （BTFs）, BTF 1 and BTF 2, were evaluated for toluene removal at various gas empty bed contact times （EBCTs） and organic loadings. BTF 1 and BTF 2 were packed with structured and cubic synthetic polyurethane sponges, respectively. At a constant toluene loading of 16 g/（***）, toluene removal efficiencies decreased from 98.8% to 64.3% for BTF 1 and from 98.4% to 74.1% for BTF 2 as gas EBCT decreased from 30 to 5 sec. When the toluene loading increased from 35 to 140 g/（***） at a gas EBCT of 30 sec, the removal efficiencies decreased from 99.1% to 77.4% for BTF 1 and from 99.0% to 81.5% for BTF 2. The pressure drop for both BTFs increased with increased air flow rate, and did not significantly vary while the toluene loading was increased under similar operation conditions. BTF 1 and BTF 2 could start up successfully within 19 and 27 days, respectively, when packed with fresh sponge media, and the performances could be restored in 3-7 days after biomass was removed and wasted from the media. BTF 2 displayed higher removal efficiency even under shorter EBCT or higher loading rate than BTF1 when other operation conditions were similar, while it showed lower pressure drop than BTF 1 during the whole period of operation. These results demonstrated that both BTFs could treat waste gas containing toluene effectively.

在天津市实验林场水稻种植区充分利用现有排水沟渠,进行工程改造,配置不同植物,建设成生态拦截沟,使之在具有原有排水功能的基础上,增加对排水中氮、磷养分的拦截、吸附、沉积、转化和吸收利用.试验配置了7种植物组合,结果表明,7种植物配置均起到了氮磷拦截效果,总氮去除率分别为鸢尾+菠菜(92.27%)>菖蒲+紫穗槐(84.92%)>芦苇+刺儿菜(83.73%)>三菱草+苜蓿(83.47%)>美人蕉+芦苇(69.81%)>菖蒲+茅草(59.18%)>芦苇+芦苇(26.07%);总磷去除率分别为鸢尾+菠菜(88.89%)>菖蒲+茅草(84.77%)>菖蒲+紫穗槐(82.98%)>美人蕉+芦苇(76.92%)>三菱草+苜蓿(65%)>芦苇+芦苇(62.96%)>芦苇+刺儿菜(23.08%).景观方面,鸢尾和美人蕉有很好的美观效果,苜蓿和紫穗槐长势良好,并且吸引了大量昆虫,增强了生物多样性,形成良好的景观生态.

秸秆土聚物保温建筑材料工艺及界面结构分析

为研究开发强度高、耐腐蚀性好的保温建筑材料,以节省建筑能源消耗,拓宽秸秆工业化利用途径,该文将秸秆掺入到土壤聚合物中制备秸秆土聚物,以抗压强度为指标,优选秸秆土聚物的较优工艺,并测定了秸秆土聚物的导热系数,确定其保温性能。用X射线衍射、傅立叶红外光谱以及扫描电镜对秸秆土聚物复合材料的晶相成分、化学键合和微观结构进行了分析。结果表明秸秆土聚物较优工艺配方如下:反应体系中Si O2与Al2O3摩尔比为3.9,Na2O与Si O2摩尔比为0.30,秸秆掺量4%,长度1 mm,水灰比0.10,制备得到的试块置于(20±2)℃、相对湿度为70%±2%的环境中养护,其7 d抗压强度可达54.58 MPa,导热系数为0.0681 W/(m·K)。X射线衍射、傅立叶红外光谱以及扫描电镜分析表明秸秆土壤聚合物为Si,O,Al组成的半晶态,无定形层状结构,与纯土聚物红外特征峰相同,无新化学键生成。秸秆土聚物界面处出现间隙和裂纹,裂纹遇秸秆后转向,产生二次裂纹,形成弱结合界面。初步判断秸秆与土聚物之间没有发生化学结合。研究结果为秸秆的工业资源化利用开辟了一条新途径,也为绿色保温建筑材料的研究提供依据。

Reliability improvement of gas discharge tube by suppressing the formation of short-circuit pathways

After cumulative discharge of gas discharge tube(GDT),it is easy to form a short circuit pathway between the two electrodes,which increases the failure risk and causes severe influences on the protected *** reduce the failure risk of GDT and improve cumulative discharge times before failure,this work aims to suppress the formation of two short-circuit pathways by optimizing the tube wall structure,the electrode materials and the electrode structure.A total of five improved GDT samples are designed by focusing on the insulation resistance change that occurs after the improvement;then,by combining these designs with the microscopic morphology changes inside the cavity and the differences in deposition composition,the reasons for the differences in the GDT failure risk are also *** experimental results show that compared with GDT of traditional structure and material,the method of adding grooves at both ends of the tube wall can effectively block the deposition pathway of the tube wall,and the cumulative discharge time before device failure is increased by 149%.On this basis,when the iron-nickel electrode is replaced with a tungsten-copper electrode,the difference in the electrode’s surface splash characteristics further extends the discharge time before failure by 183%.In addition,when compared with the traditional electrode structure,the method of adding an annular structure at the electrode edge to block the splashing pathway for the particles on the electrode surface shows no positive effect,and the cumulative discharge time before the failure of the two structures is reduced by 22.8%and 49.7%,*** these improved structures,the samples with grooves at both ends of the tube wall and tungsten-copper as their electrode material have the lowest failure risk.

为了提高空天地一体化车载网络(space-air-ground integrated vehicular networks,SAGVN)内用户的网络服务质量体验,解决不同网络间相互协同的问题,提出了面向用户需求的SAGVN任务分配策略。基于用户信号强度、时延、网络费用和带宽需求,利用效用函数理论和层次分析法(analytic hierarchy process,AHP),构建用户需求和满意度描述框架。将网络任务分配过程抽象为半马尔可夫决策过程(semi Markov decision process,SMDP),根据用户需求和网络状态,利用价值迭代算法获得整体用户满意度最大的网络任务分配策略,利用Q-learning算法得到近似最优策略。实验表明,相较于传统策略,所提策略整体用户满意度提高超过30%;在网络拥塞的环境下,可以有效降低对网络服务需求迫切用户服务请求的拒绝率。

Partial and Full Arc Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy in Lung Cancer Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy with Different Definitions of Internal Target Volume Based on 4D CT

Purpose: To investigate the feasibility of partial arc volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in lung cancer stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), as well the volumetric and dosimetric effects of different internal target volume (ITV) definitions with 4D CT. Methods: Fourteen patients with primary and metastatic lung cancer underwent SBRT were enrolled. Full and partial arc VMAT plans were generated with four different ITVs: ITVall, ITVMIP, ITVAIP and ITV2phases, representing ITVs generated from all 10 respiratory phases, maximum intensity projection (MIP), average intensity projection (AIP), and 2 extreme respiratory phases. Volumetric and dosimetric differences, as well as MU and delivery time were investigated. Results: Partial arc VMAT irradiated more dose at 2 cm away from planning target volume (PTV) (P = 0.002), however, it achieved better protection on mean lung dose , lung V5, spinal cord, heart and esophagus compared with full arc VMAT. The average MU and delivery time of partial arc VMAT were 240 and 1.6 min less than those of full arc VMAT. There were no significant differences on target coverage and organ at risks (OARs) sparing among four ITVs. The average percent volume differences of ITVMIP, ITVAIP and ITV2phases to ITVall were 8.6%, 13.4%, and 25.2%, respectively. Conclusions: Although partial arc VMAT delivered more dose 2 cm out of PTV, it decreases the dose to lung, spinal cord, and esophagus, as well decreased the total MU and delivery time compared with full arc VMAT without sacrificing target coverage. Partial arc VMAT was feasible and more efficient for lung SBRT.

We report the discovery of a peculiar X-ray transient,EP240408a,by Einstein Probe （EP） and follow-up studies made with EP,Swift,NICER,GROND,ATCA and other ground-based multiwavelength *** new transient was first detected with Wide-field X-ray Telescope （WXT） on board EP on April 8th,2024,manifested in an intense yet brief X-ray flare lasting for *** flare reached a peak flux of 3.9×10-9erg cm-2s-1in 0.5-4 ke V,～300 times brighter than the underlying X-ray emission detected throughout the *** and more precise follow-up observations by EP/FXT,Swift and NICER confirmed the finding of this new *** X-ray spectrum is non-thermal in 0.5-10 ke V,with a power-law photon index varying *** X-ray light curve shows a plateau lasting for ～4 d,followed by a steep decay till becoming undetectable ～10 d after the initial *** on its temporal property and constraints from previous EP observations,an unusual timescale in the range of 7-23 d is found for EP240408a,which is intermediate between the commonly found fast and long-term *** counterparts have been found in optical and near-infrared,with the earliest observation at 17 h after the initial X-ray detection,suggestive of intrinsically weak emission in these *** demonstrate that the remarkable properties of EP240408a are inconsistent with any of the transient types known so far,by comparison with,in particular,jetted tidal disruption events,gamma-ray bursts,X-ray binaries and fast blue optical *** nature of EP240408a thus remains an *** suggest that EP240408a may represent a new type of transients with intermediate timescales of the order of～10 *** detection and follow-ups of more of such objects are essential for revealing their origin.
