Quasi-2D weak lensing cosmological constraints using the PDF-SYM method

Cosmic shear statistics,such as the two-point correlation function(2PCF),can be evaluated with the PDF-SYM method instead of the traditional weighted-sum *** makes use of the full PDF information of the shear estimators,and does not require weightings on the shear estimators,which can in principle introduce additional systematic *** work presents our constraints on S8and?mfrom the shear-shear correlations using the PDF-SYM *** data we use is from the z-band images of the Dark Energy Camera Legacy Survey(DECa LS),which covers about 10000 deg2with more than 100 million *** shear catalog is produced by the Fourier Quad method,and well tested on the real data itself with the field-distortion *** main approach is called quasi-2D as we do use the photo-z information of each individual galaxy,but without dividing the galaxies into redshift *** mainly use galaxy pairs within the redshift interval between 0.2 and 1.3,and the angular range from 4.7 to 180 *** analysis yields S8=0.762±0.026 and?m=0.234±0.075,with the baryon effects and the intrinsic alignments *** results are robust against redshift *** check the consistency of our results by deriving the cosmological constraints from auto-correlations ofγ1andγ2separately,and find that they are consistent with each other,but the constraints from theγ1component are much weaker than that fromγ*** implies a much worse data quality ofγ1,which is likely due to additional shear uncertainties caused by CCD electronics(according to the survey strategy of DECa LS).We also perform a pure 2D analysis,which gives S8=0.81_(-0.04)^(+0.03)and?m=0.25_(-0.05)^(+0.06).Our findings demonstrate the potential of the PDF-SYM method for precision cosmology.

Photoswitchable Spiropyridine Enabled Photoactuation of Polymeric Hydrogels under Physiological pH Conditions

The incorporation of molecular switches into polymer networks has been a powerful approach for the development of functional polymer materials that display macroscopic actuation and function enabled directly by molecular ***,such materials sometimes require harsh conditions to perform their functions,and the design of new molecular photoswitches that can function under physiological conditions is highly ***,we report the design and synthesis of a spiropyridine-based photoswitchable hydrogel that exhibits light-driven actuation at physiological *** to its high p Ka,spiropyridine maintains its ring-open protonated form at neutral pH,and the resulting hydrogel remains in a swollen *** irradiation with visible light,the ring closure of spiropyridine leads to a decrease in the charge and a reduction in the volume of the *** contracted gel could spontaneously recover to its expanding state in the dark,and this process is highly dynamic and reversible when the light is switched on and ***,the hydrogel shows switchable fluorescence in response to visible *** deformation is observed in the hydrogel thin films upon irradiation from one ***,the independence of this spiropyridine hydrogel from the acidic environment makes it biotolerant and shows excellent *** biocompatible spiropyridine hydrogel might have important biorelated applications in the future.

The coexistence of multi-component active sites like single-atom sites,diatomic sites(DAS)and nanoclusters is shown to result in superior performances in the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Metal diatomic sites are more complex than single-atom sites but their unique electronic structures can lead to significant enhancement of the HER *** the synthesis and identification of DAS is usually challenging,we report a simple access to a diatomic catalyst by anchoring Co-Ru DAS on nitrogen-doped carbon supports along with Ru nanoparticles(NPs).Experimental and theoretical results revealed the atomic-level characteristics of Co-Ru sites,their strong electronic coupling and their synergy with Ru NPs within the *** unique electronic structure of the catalyst resulted in an excellent HER activity and stability in alkaline *** work provides a valuable insight into a widely applicable design of diatomic catalysts with multi-component active sites for highly efficient HER electrocatalysis.

Iron-metal clusters are crucial in a variety of critical biological and material systems,including metalloenzymes,catalysts,and magnetic storage ***,a synthetic high-nuclear iron cluster has been absent due to the extreme difficulty in stabilizing species with direct iron-iron *** this work,we have synthesized,crystallized,and characterized a（Tp*）4W4S12(Fe@Fe12) cluster(Tp*=tris（3,5-dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl）borate（1-）),which features a rare trideca-nuclear,icosahedral[Fe@Fe12] cluster core with direct multicenter iron-iron bonding between the interstitial iron（Fei） and peripheral irons（Fep）,as well as Fep…Fepferromagnetic *** chemistry studies reveal that the stability of the cluster arises from the 18-electron shell-closing of the [Fe@Fe12]16+core,assisted by its bonding interactions with the peripheral tridentate [（Tp*）WS3]4-ligands which possess both S→Fe donation and spin-polarized Fe-Wσ *** ground-state electron spin is theoretically predicted to be S=32/2 for the *** existence of low oxidation-state（OS～+1.23） iron in this compound may find interesting applications in magnetic storage,spintronics,redox chemistry,and cluster catalysis.

A Study of the Effect of the Miller Cycle on the Combustion of a Supercharged Marine Diesel Engine

The Miller cycle is a program that effectively reduces NOx emissions from marine diesel engines by lowering the maximum combustion temperature in the cylinder,thereby reducing NOx *** effectively investigate the impact of Miller cycle optimum combustion performance and emission capability under high load conditions,this study will perform a one-dimensional simulation of the performance of a marine diesel engine,as well as a threedimensional simulation of the combustion in the cylinder.A 6-cylinder four-stroke single-stage supercharged diesel engine is taken as the research *** chassis dynamometer and other related equipment are used to build the test system,carry out the diesel engine bench test,and collect experimental *** simulation results are compared with the test results,and the error is less than 5%.In this study,the authors will use simulation software to simulate several Miller cycle scenarios designed for early inlet valve closure and analyze the impact of the Miller cycle on combustion and emissions at 100%load *** comparing the flow field distribution of the engine at 1500 r/min condition,it was found that proper EIVC can prolong the ignition latency period and homogeneous fuel-air mixture combustion acceleration,but it can reduce pressure and temperature within the piston chamber and NOx ***,the Miller cycle reduces end-of-compression temperatures,which increases combustion duration and exhaust temperatures,making it difficult to improve fuel economy at the optimum fuel consumption point,and closing the intake valves prematurely leads to excessive fuel ***,temperature and heat release rate within the piston chamber,NOx,and SOOT generation were significantly enhanced.

Objective:To explore the potential mechanism of lysionotin in treating ***:First,target prediction based on Bernoulli Naïve Bayes profiling and pathway enrichment was used to predict the biological activity of *** binding between 5-lipoxygenase(5-LO)and lysionotin was detected by surface plasmon resonance(SPR)and molecular docking,and the inhibitory effects of lysionotin on 5-LO and proliferation of glioma were determined using enzyme inhibition assay in vitro and cell viability analysis,***,the pharmaceutical effect of lysionotin was explored by cell survival rate analysis and liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS).The protein expression,intracellular calcium ion concentration and cytoskeleton detection were revealed by Western blot,flow cytometry and fluorescence labeling,***:Target prediction and pathway enrichment revealed that lysionotin inhibited 5-LO,a key enzyme involved in the arachidonic acid metabolism pathway,to inhibit the proliferation of *** docking results demonstrated that 5-LO can be binding to lysionotin through hydrogen bonds,forming bonds with His600,Gln557,Asn554,and *** analysis further confirmed the interaction between 5-LO and ***,enzyme inhibition assay in vitro and cell survival rate analysis revealed that 50%inhibition concentration of lysionotin and the median effective concentration of lysionotin were 90 and 16.58µmol/L,respectively,and the results of LC-MS/MS showed that lysionotin inhibited the production of 5S-hydroperoxy-eicosatetraenoic acid(Plioma cells well(P<0.01)and inhibit their *** blot analysis demonstrated that lysionotin can inhibit the expression of 5-LO(P<0.05)and downstream leukotriene B4 receptor(P<0.01).In addition,the results showed that lysionotin affected intracellular calcium ion concentration by inh

Micro-mechanism Study on the Different Antioxidants Protective Effect of Vegetable Oil by ReaxFF Molecular Dynamics

The aging problem of vegetable oil has severely restricted the popularization and application of vegetable oil *** antioxidants is the most recommended *** present,there is insufficient research on the micromechanism application of the protective effect of antioxidants on vegetable *** this paper,multiple vegetable oil models with different types and concentrations of antioxidants are *** the molecular dynamics simulation based on ReaxFF is carried out at different temperatures and oxygen *** show that the protective mechanism of antioxidants is to release H and combine this with free radicals generated by the decomposition of unsaturated fatty acids(UFA)in the *** addition,the protective effects of four antioxidants show different *** stronger ones are tert-butyl hydroquinone(TBHQ)and butylated hydroxytoluene(BHT),while the weaker ones are butylated hydroxyanisole(BHA)and propyl gallate(PG).TBHQ has a better protective effect at lower concentrations,but the decomposition of UFA is promoted at higher *** the temperature rises,the decomposition of UFA is *** the addition of oxygen,smaller molecular compounds are easily oxidized,and the decomposition of UFA is *** above research could reveal the microscopic mechanism of antioxidant protection on vegetable oil,providing theoretical references for further exploration of effective vegetable oil aging protection technology.

Multi-performance evaluation of high-throughput accelerated corrosion test for high-strength low-alloy 921A steel

The corrosion behavior of high-strength low-alloy 921A steel in a simulated marine atmospheric environment was studied using a high-throughput experimental *** corrosion behavior,corrosion morphology,and corrosion products of 921A steels were analyzed using various techniques,including corrosion mass loss method,polarization curve,white-light interferometry,scanning electron microscopy,energy-dispersive spectrometry,microbeam X-ray fluorescence spectrometry,X-ray diffraction technique,and X-ray photoelectron *** test results indicated that 921A steel exhibits better corrosion resistance than Q450NQR1 steel in simulated harsh atmospheric environments,as evidenced by a lower corrosion mass loss rate throughout the corrosion *** corrosion products of both steels consisted ofα-FeOOH,Fe_(3)O_(4),andγ-FeOOH,withα-FeOOH being more prevalent in the rust layer of 921A steel than in Q450NQR1 *** inner rust layer of 921A steel also exhibited an appositional enrichment region of Cr,Ni,Mo,and V,leading to its superior corrosion resistance compared to that of Q450NQR1 *** efficacy of high-throughput accelerated corrosion experimental methods was highlighted for evaluating the corrosion resistance of steel materials in harsh environmental *** findings suggest that 921A steel exhibits better corrosion resistance compared to Q450NQR1 steel and has the potential to be more suitable in harsh marine atmospheric *** characterization of the rust layer structures and composition reveals the parallel enrichment of certain elements in the inner rust layer of 921A steel,which enhances its corrosion resistance.

Coordinated Capacitor Voltage Balancing Method for Cascaded H-bridge Inverter with Supercapacitor and DC-DC Stage

Cascaded H-bridge inverter(CHBI) with supercapacitors(SCs) and dc-dc stage shows significant promise for medium to high voltage energy storage applications. This paper investigates the voltage balance of capacitors within the CHBI, including both the dc-link capacitors and SCs. Balance control over the dc-link capacitor voltages is realized by the dcdc stage in each submodule(SM), while a hybrid modulation strategy(HMS) is implemented in the H-bridge to balance the SC voltages among the SMs. Meanwhile, the dc-link voltage fluctuations are analyzed under the HMS. A virtual voltage variable is introduced to coordinate the balancing of dc-link capacitor voltages and SC voltages. Compared to the balancing method that solely considers the SC voltages, the presented method reduces the dc-link voltage fluctuations without affecting the voltage balance of SCs. Finally, both simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness of the presented method.
