Background:Diagnosing latent tuberculosis(TB)infection(LTBI)and active TB(ATB)is crucial for preventing disease progression and transmission.However,current diagnostic tests have limitations in terms of accuracy and sensitivity,making it challenging to diagnose these different infection states.Therefore,this study intends to develop a promising biomarker for LTBI and ATB diagnosis to overcome the limitations of the current diagnostic tests.Methods:We developed a novelmultiepitope-based diagnostic biomarker(MEBDB)fromLTBI region of differentiation antigens using bioinformatics and immunoinformatics.Immune responses induced byMEBDM were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent spot and cytometric bead assays.This study was conducted from April 2022 to December 2022 in the SeniorDepartment of Tuberculosis at the 8thMedical Center of PLA General Hospital,China.Blood samples were collected from participants with ATB,individuals with LTBI,and healthy controls(HCs).The diagnostic efficacy of MEBDB was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic curves.Results:A novel MEBDB,designated as CP19128P,was generated.CP19128P comprises 19 helper T lymphocyte epitopes,12 cytotoxic T lymphocyte epitopes,and 8 B-cell epitopes.In silico simulations demonstrated that CP19128P possesses strong affinity for Toll-like receptors and elicits robust innate and adaptive immune responses.CP19128P generated significantly higher levels of tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),interleukin 4(IL-4),and IL-10 in ATB patients(n=7)and LTBI(n=8)individuals compared with HCs(n=62)(P<0.001).Moreover,CP19128P-induced specific cytokines could be used to discriminate LTBI and ATB from healthy subjects with high sensitivity and specificity.Combining IL-2 with IL-4 or TNF-α could differentiate LTBI from HCs(the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve[AUC],0.976[95% confidence interval[CI],0.934-1.000]or 0.986[0.956-1.000]),whereas combining IL-4 with IL-17A or TNF-α could differentiate ATB from HCs(AUC,0.887[0.782-0.993]or 0.984[0.958-1.000])

Spinel-type cathodes are considered an optimal substitute for conventional layered oxide cathodes owing to their use of inexpensive and earth-abundant manganese as the redox-active element.Moreover,the introduction of cation disorder can effectively suppress the detrimental two-phase reaction to realize high capacities in a wide voltage range.However,the continuous capacity decay during cycles has hindered the widespread application of these cathode materials.Inorganic fluorides exhibit excellent electrochemical stability at high voltage;therefore,in this study,the direct F2 gas reaction with a partially disordered spinel cathode(Li1.6Mn1.6O3.7F0.3,LMOF1.6) was initially applied to investigate the impacts of fluorination on the surface structure and electrochemical performances.The inorganic fluorinated layer,mainly containing LiF,was distributed uniformly on the surface of LMOF1.6nanoparticles after fluorination for an appropriate time without the turbulence caused by the valency of manganese cation,which improved the capacity retention and rate capability by the suppression of structural damage,parasitic reaction,and cation dissolution.The LMOF1.6cathode fluorinated for 0.5 h exhibited a capacity of283.6 mAh·g-1at 50 mA·g-1and an enhanced capacity retention of 29.6% after 50 cycles in the voltage range of1.5-4.8 V,as compared to the pristine LMOF1.6 with only27.9% capacity retention.

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease featuring rapid proliferation of epidermal cells.Although elevated glycolysis flux has been reported in psoriasis,the molecular mechanisms underlying its pathogenesis remain unclear.We investigated the role of the integral membrane protein CD147 in psoriasis pathogenesis,observing its high expression in psoriatic skin lesions of humans and imiquimod(IMQ)-induced mouse models.In mouse models,genomic deletion of epidermal CD147 markedly attenuated IMQ-induced psoriatic inflammation.We found that CD147 interacted with glucose transporter 1(Glut1).Depletion of CD147 in the epidermis blocked glucose uptake and glycolysis in vitro and in vivo.In CD147-knockout mice and keratinocytes,oxidative phosphorylation was increased in the epidermis,indicating CD147's pivotal role in glycolysis reprogramming during pathogenesis of psoriasis.Using non-targeted and targeted metabolic techniques,we found that epidermal deletion of CD147 significantly increased the production of carnitine and α-ketoglutaric acid(α-KG).

Magnesium hydride(MgH_(2))has been considered as a promising hydrogen storage material,but the pressing issues including sluggish kinetics and poor cyclic stability hampered its practical applications.Herein,a high-efficient catalyst comprising of YC_(x)F_(y)nanosheets-supported Ni nanoparticles(Ni_(30)/YC_(x)F_(y))was designed and constructed aiming to resolve the abovementioned restrictions facing MgH_(2).After hybridizing with Ni_(30)/YC_(x)F_(y),the as-achieved MgH_(2)–10 wt.%Ni_(30)/YC_(x)F_(y)composite exhibits superior hydrogen desorption kinetics with an activation energy of 80.9 kJ·mol^(−1)and a high capacity retention of 97.6%after 50 cycles.It is confirmed that the in situ formed Mg_(2)NiH_(4)and YH3 catalytic phases accelerate the hydrogen desorption kinetics,while the dispersed MgF_(2)and carbon species prevent the crystallite growth,particle aggregation,and catalyst redispersion,contributing an excellent cyclic stability.This work provides a new strategy to synthesize efficient catalysts for hydrogen desorption of MgH_(2).

Magnesium-based alloys with 18R-type long-period stacking ordered(LPSO)structures have attracted wide attention for structural and functional applications.To understand hydrogen storage properties of 18R phase,the Mg_(85)Zn_(6)Y_(9)alloy with 94 wt.%of 18R-type LPSO phase is prepared in this work.The 18R phase has a layered structure where Y-Zn-Mg and Mg layers alternately stack along the c-axis.In the Y-Zn-Mg layers,Y,Zn and partial Mg sites are co-occupied by Y and Mg,Zn and Mg,and Mg and Zn/Y atoms,respectively.Thus the 18R phase is easily decomposed intoα-MgH_(2),γ-MgH_(2),YH_(2),YH_(3),C14-type Laves phase MgZn_(2)and minor CsCl-type Y(Mg,Zn)during ball milling under hydrogen atmosphere.Af-ter further hydrogen absorption-desorption cycling,Y(Mg,Zn)disappears gradually and C14 phase trans-forms into C15-type Laves phase.By contrast,the Mg_(85)Zn_(6)Y_(9)alloy has better hydrogen storage kinetics and cycle durability than pure Mg because of the catalytic effect of YH_(2)/YH_(3)on hydrogen absorption-desorption and inhibition role of Laves phase in Mg crystallite growth.Moreover,the introduction of Ni into Mg_(85)Zn_(6)Y_(9)sample leads to a further decrease in activation energy of hydrogen desorption from 106.39 to 96.78 kJ mol−1 due to the formation of Mg_(2)Ni.This work not only provides new insights into structural features and hydrogen storage characteristics of 18R phase but offers an effective method for improving hydrogen storage properties.

This paper investigates the state-tracking control problem in conversion mode of a tilt-rotor aircraft with a switching modeling method and a smooth interpolation technique.Based on the nonlinear model of the conversion mode,a switched linear model is developed by using the Jacobian linearization method and designing the switching signal based on the mast angle.Furthermore,an ℋ_(∞) state-tracking control scheme is designed to deal with the conversion mode control issue.Moreover,instead of limiting the amplitude of control inputs,a smooth interpolation method is developed to create bumpless performance.Finally,the XV-15 tilt-rotor aircraft is chosen as a prototype to illustrate the effectiveness of this developed control method.

Pyroptosis is an inflammatory form of death mediated by gasdermin that recruits immune cells to the site of infection and promotes protective immunity.The gasdermin is a family of pore-forming proteins,including GSDMA(Gsdma1,Gsdma2,Gsdma3),GSDMB,GSDMC(Gsdmc1,Gsdmc2,Gsdmc3,Gsdmc4),GSDMD(Gsdmd),GSDME/DFNA5(Dfna5)and GSDMF/DFNB59/PJVK(Dfnb59)[1,2].Though activation of GSDMB/C/D/E has been gradually illustrated[3],the details of GSDMA activation,particular in epithelial cells such as skin and upper gastrointestinal tract,still remain so far largely elusive.

Lithium(Li)metal anodes have attracted extensive attention due to their ultrahigh theoretical capacity and low potential.However,the uneven deposition of Li near the unstable electrode/electrolyte interfaces leads to the growth of Li dendrites and the degradation of active electrodes.Herein,we directly fluorinate alkyne-containing conjugated microporous polymers(ACMPs)microspheres with fluorine gas(F_(2))to introduce a novel fluorinated interlayer as an interfacial stabilizer in lithium metal batteries.Using density functional theory methods,it is found that as-prepared fluorinated ACMP(FACMP)has abundant partially ionic C–F bonds.The C–F bonds with electrochemical lability yield remarkable lithiophilicity during cycling.The in situ reactions between the active C–F bonds and Li ions enable transfer of lithium fluoride microcrystals to the solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layers,guaranteeing effective ionic distribution and smooth Li deposition.Consequently,Li metal electrodes with the fluorinated interlayers demonstrate excellent cycling performances in both half-batteries and full cells with a lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide electrolyte as well as a nonfluorinated lithium bis(oxalate)borate electrolyte system.This strategy is highly significant in customizable SEI layers to stabilize electrode interfaces and ensure high utilization of Li metal anodes,especially in a nonfluorinated electrolyte.

Lithium primary batteries are widely used in various fields where high energy densities and long storage times are in demand.However,studies on lithium primary batteries are currently focused on the gravimetric energy densities of active materials and rarely account for the volumetric energy requirements of unmanned devices.Herein,CuF_(2)/CF_(x) composites are prepared via planetary ball milling(PBM)to improve the volumetric energy densities of lithium primary batteries using the high mass density of CuF_(2),achieving a maximum volumetric energy density of 4163.40 Wh L^(-1).The CuF_(2)/CF_(x) hybrid cathodes exhibit three distinct discharge plateaus rather than simple combinations of the discharge curves of their components.This phenomenon is caused by charge redistribution and lattice modulation on the contact surfaces of CuF_(2) and CF_(x) during PBM,which change the valence state of Cu and modify the electronic structures of the composites.As a result,CuF_(2)/CF_(x) hybrid cathodes exhibit unique discharge behaviors and improved rate capabilities,delivering a maximum power density of 11.16 kW kg^(-1)(25.56 kW L^(-1)).Therefore,it is a promising strategy to further improve the comprehensive performance of lithium primary batteries through the use of interfacial optimization among different fluoride cathodes.
