Five new solid complexes were synthesized about transition metals with Schiff base（ L, C18H23NO2 ） derived from adamantaneamine and o-vanillin, and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, infrared spectra, UV-vis spectra, thermal analysis. Their chemical formula are [ML2]（ClO4）2 （ M= Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn）, and the coordination numbers are four, The antibacterial activity of Schiff base ligand and its complexes was studied.

Objective To investigate the potential effects of herbicide quinclorac (3,7-dichloro-8-quinoline-carboxylic) on the culturable microorganisms in flooded paddy soil. Methods Total soil aerobic bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi were counted by a 10-fold serial dilution plate technique. Numbers of anaerobic fermentative bacteria (AFB), denitrifying bacteria (DNB) and hydrogen-producing acetogenic bacteria (HPAB) were numerated by three-tube anaerobic most-probable-number (MPN) methods with anaerobic liquid enrichment media. The number of methanogenic bacteria (MB) and nitrogen-fixing bacteria (NFB) was determined by the rolling tube method in triplicate. Soil respiration was monitored by a 102G-type gas chromatography with a stainless steel column filled with GDX-104 and a thermal conductivity detector. Results Quinclorac concentration was an important factor affecting the populations of various culturable microorganisms. There were some significant differences in the aerobic heterotrophic bacteria. AFB and DNB between soils were supplemented with quinclorac and non-quinclorac at the early stage of incubation, but none of them was persistent. The number of fungi and DNB was increased in soil samples treated by lower than 1.33μg·g-1 dried soil, while the CFU of fungi and HPAB was inhibited in soil samples treated by higher than 1.33μg·g-1 dried soil. The population of actinomycete declined in negative proportion to the concentrations of quinclorac applied after 4 days. However, application of quinclorac greatly stimulated the growth of AFB and NFB. MB was more sensitive to quinclorac than the others, and the three soil samples with concentrations higher than 1 μg·g-1 dried soil declined significantly to less than 40% of that in the control, but the number of samples with lower concentrations of quinclorac was nearly equal to that in the control at the end of experiments. This study employs the regional Climate-Weather Research and Forecasting model(CWRF)to first investigate the primary physical mechanisms causing biases in simulating summer precipitation over the Yangtze River Basin(YRB),and then enhance its predictive ability through an optimal multi-physics ensemble *** CWRF 30-km simulations in china are compared among 28 combinations of varying physics parameterizations during 1980−***-term average summer biases in YRB precipitation are remotely correlated with those of large-scale *** teleconnections of biases are highly consistent with the observed correlation patterns between interannual variations of precipitation and circulations,despite minor shifts in their primary action *** YRB precipitation aligns with a southward shifted East Asian westerly jet,an intensified low-level southerly flow south of YRB,and a south-eastward shifted South Asian high,alongside higher moisture availability over ***,decreased YRB precipitation corresponds to an opposite circulation *** CWRF control configuration using the ensemble cumulus parameterization(ECP),compared to other cumulus schemes,best captures the observed YRB precipitation characteristics and associated circulation *** ECP with the Morrison or Morrison-aerosol microphysics and the CCCMA or CAML radiation schemes enhances the overall CWRF *** to the control CWRF,the ensemble average of these skill-enhanced physics configurations more accurately reproduces YRB summer precipitation’s spatial distributions,interannual anomalies,and associated circulation *** Bayesian Joint Probability calibration to these configurations improves the ensemble’s spatial distributions but compromises its interannual anomalies and teleconnection *** findings highlight substantial potential for refining the representation of climate system physics to improve YRB precipitation *** is notabl

A new genus within the family Mesosciophilidae,Jurasciophila ***.,with two new species,J,curvula *** *** *** *** ***.,are described and *** are established based on fossil specimens with bodies and complete *** of them were collected from the late Middle Jurassic Jiulongshan Formation of Daohugou in southeastern Inner Mongolia,*** with two known genera,Mesosciophilina(Kovalev,1985) and Mesosciophilopsis(Blagoderov,1994),the new genus has transitional characters. The distribution pattern of Mesosciophilidae is briefly discussed.

Structural modulation of Cd(Ⅱ) supramolecular frameworks with a versatile 2,4-dipyridyl-type building block and different dicarboxylate ligands

A series of Cd(Ⅱ) coordination complexes with an elongated 2,4-dipyridyl-type building block trans-1-(2-pyridyl)-2-(4-pyridyl)ethylene (bpe) and different dicarboxylate ligands have been presented. Generally, bpe shows the unidentate coordination mode and serves as the terminal pendant, whereas the dicarboxylate ligands display various binding fashions to interlink the metal centers to form 1-D comb-like chain, ribbon, and fishbone arrays, as well as 2-D 44 and 4.82 layered networks. Notably, the bpe building block is also involved in secondary interactions such as hydrogen bonding and aromatic stacking to construct the resulting supramolecular architectures. Thermal stability of these complexes has been studied by TG-DTA technique.

The preparation and electrocatalytic activity of polyaniline-poly （ propylene oxide ）（ PAN-PPO ） modified by Pt particles （ Pt/ PAN-PPO ） were investigated. Pt/ PAN-PPO was characterized by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and energy dispersive spectroscopy （ EDS ）. Pt particles on PAN-PPO were in the nanometer range, and dispersed in a three-dimensional distribution on the surface of PAN-PPO film. Compared with polyaniline and glassy carbon modified with Pt particles under the same conditions, Pt/PAN-PPO exhibited a high electrocatalytic activity for lysine oxidation.

In this paper, we will study the temporal-spatial landscape change from 1978 to 2001 in Daqing City, based on the mul- ti spectral scanner (MSS) and thematic mapper (TM) images of remote sensing (RS) of 1978, 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2001. In order to explain the effects of the component change on the whole landscape, we make a statistic analysis about the transfer probability matrix of the component types of the landscape by using the ARCGIS platform through the overlay analysis of different landscape components. Based on the transfer probability matrix, we calculate the in-transfer ratio, the out-transfer ratio and the contributor ratio of the special transfer process of the main landscape components. The results illustrate that the cultivated-land, grassland, swamp, and alkaline land are the main contributors resulting in the landscape change: the out-transfer ratios of grassland and swamp are much higher than the in-transfer ones; the in-transfer ratio of alkaline land is much higher than the out-transfer one; the in-transfer ratio of the land-lot is always higher than its out-transfer with the highest rate per year, although there is a small difference among the in-transfers and the out-transfers per year. The main landscape changing processes are the salination of cultivated-land, salination or desertification of grassland, salination and degeneration of swamp. Results in this paper can provide scientific basis for investigating the landscape change mechanism of resources-based city.

Dielectric spectroscopy(DS) was utilized to investigate the toxicity of the Cu2+ solution to Microcystis *** was found that 0.04 mM Cu2+ had no effect on dielectric increment,whereas the Cu2+ concentrations above 0.1 mM decreased the value of Δε/Δε *** toxic effect of Cu2+ on *** cells was time-dependent and *** was a threshold concentration between 0.04 mM and 0.1 mM,which affected the cell membrane,suggesting that Cu2+ at the concentrations higher than 0.1 mM caused serious plasmalemma damage to *** *** addition of 1 mM Ca2+ or Mg2+ did not protect *** cells from 1 mM Cu2+ *** study demonstrates that DS monitors cell biomass facilitating observation of the toxic effects of metal ions.
