Corrosion of titanium in supercritical water oxidation environments

Supercritical water oxidation (SCWO) can effectively destroy many kinds of civilian and military wastes. The high temperature and high pressure SCWO operation conditions generate very corrosive environment that many engineering materials fail to withstand. Preliminary test shows that titanium may be a promising material in most of SCWO conditions. Commercially pure titanium is tested in four kinds of SCWO environments. Phenol, sodium dodecyl benzosulfonate, n amine phenol, and chlorpyrifos were chosen as typical target pollutants. The results show that titanium is only superficially attacked in the first three SCWO environments while in chlorpyrifos SCWO medium titanium is corroded. The corrosion is temperature dependent, with heavier corrosion occurring at near critical temperature. X ray diffraction analysis shows that the corrosion products consist of titanium oxy phosphates and titanium oxide, in which Ti 5O 4(PO 4) 4 is the main phase.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) constitute an important group of micropollutants, which are known to be mutagenic, carcinogenic and/or co-carcinogenic and relatively persistent in the environment. The effects of chlorine dioxide (ClO2) on the degradation of anthracene (ANTH), pyrene (PYR) and benzo[a]anthracene (BaA) in aqueous solution were investigated using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). In preliminary experiments, it was observed that ClO2 could remove these three PAHs effectively within a short time. Several factors including reaction time, the concentration of ClO2 and pH of the reaction mixture influencing the degradation ratio of PAHs have been studied by batch experiments. The results showed that the degradation ratio of PAHs was affected by reaction time and the concentration of ClO2 instead of pH. The degradation ratio of ANTH, PYR and BaA could reach their maximum as approximately 99.0%, 67.5% and 89.5%, respectively, under the condition as follows: reaction time 30, 60 and 120 min, the concentration of ClO2 0.1, 0.4 and 0.5 mmol·L-1, and pH 7.2. ANTH was selected as the representative to study the reaction mechanism with ClO2. The oxidation products formed in the reaction of ANTH with ClO2 were tentatively identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and the results showed that the main product was 9, 10-anthraquinone, which could be biodegraded more easily and quickly than ANTH. Through analyzing the reaction properties of ANTH and ClO2, the possible pathway for the ANTH-ClO2 reaction was proposed based on the theory of single electron transfer (SET).

针对一类在有限时间区间上重复运行的非线性系统,提出了一种带有初态学习的闭环D型迭代学习控制算法,并利用算子理论证明了系统在任意初态条件下经过迭代学习后,其输出能够完全跟踪期望轨迹,同时得到了该算法收敛的谱半径形式的充分条件。该算法不仅解决了闭环D型迭代学习控制的初态问题,而且还放宽了收敛条件。最后通过simulink、matlab语言和S函数相结合的方法对控制系统进行了仿真,仿真结果验证了该算法的有效性。

Structures and stability of isomers of[C,N,N,P]system

Nine isomers, twenty transition states, and some relative dissociation fragments of [C,N,N,P] system were located at the B3LYP/6-311G(d) and QCISD(t)/6-311+G(2df) (single-point) levels of theory, and the isomerization, structures, and stability of these obtained isomers were suggested. The results indicate that four nonlinear chainlike isomers NCNP, NCPN, CNPN, and CNNP with 2A′ electronic state are kinetically stable. Other isomers are kinetically unstable to-wards isomerization or dissociation because of the corresponding smaller reaction barriers. Furthermore, calculated vibrational frequencies, rotational constants, dipole moments, the first adiabatic ionization energies, and adiabatic electron affinities of the four isomers may provide some theoretical information that is helpful for identifying their existence in future laboratory and interstellar investigations. The results are also compared with [Si,N,N,P] system.

The paper proposes a scheduling algorithm obeying the CL（Compound Laxity） rule for a kind of NCS （Networked Control System） with random *** CL scheduling is evolved from preemptive single processor real-time scheduling ***-induced delay,dropout and jitter are inevitable when transmitting control information via shared closed-loop communication channel in *** to the above control problems caused by signal transmission,The paper algorithm takes all tasks into consideration to determine the moment optimal scheduling task priority due to the compound laxity,making sure all system tasks run with the critical deadline via the whole domain compound laxity,the algorithm realizes the task optimal scheduling *** example verified the validity of the algorithm.

Morphology of zinc alloy layer,from zincate solution with zinc sulfate and zinc oxide respectively,together with the consequent deposit was observed with SEM and back scattering electron *** was applied to analyze the components of zinc alloy layer and the interface of high-Si aluminum alloy substrate-zinc ***,the surface morphology of the zincated aluminum alloy after immersing in 3.5% NaCl solution for 7 d,is observed and the corrosion rate was ***,tension test is conducted to quantify the adhesion between high-Si aluminum cast substrate and the *** results show that,the zinc oxide contained zincating solution with sodium potassium tartrate and sodium citrate is a better one in multi-metal zincating *** zinc alloy layer from this one gets stable performance,perfect adhesion with deposit,and good corrosion resistance.

Electropolymerization of aniline in KOH solution and properties of the polymer are studied by using in situ reflex ellipsometry, cyclic voltammetry and fluorescence spectroscopic method. The change patterns of ellipsometric parameters and the thickness of film in the process of electropolymerization are investigated. The complex refractive indices and the fluorescence spectra of PAN indicate that the PAN is a new kind of luminous material.

The concentration dependence of the reduced viscosity of dilute polymer solution is interpreted in the light of a new concept of the self-association of polymer chains in dilute solution. The apparent self-association constant is defined as the molar association constant divided by the molar mass of individual polymer chain and is numerically interconvertible with the Huggins coefficient. The molar association constant is directly proportional to the effective hydrodynamic volume of the polymer chain in solution and is irrespective of the chain architecture. The effective hydrodynamic volume accounts for the non-spherical conformation of a short polymer chain in solution and is a product of a shape factor and hydrodynamic volume. The observed enhancement of Huggins coefficient for short chain and branched polymer is satisfactorily interpreted by the concept of self-association. The concept of self-association allows us to predict the existence of a boundary concentration C-s(dynamic contact concentration) which divides the dilute polymer solution into two regions.
