AIM:Adrenomedullin (ADM) is a p.tent vasodilator p.p.ide. ADM and nitric oxide (nO) are p.oduced in vascular endothelial *** ADM level has been linked to hyp.rdynamic circulation and arterial vasodilatation in cirrhotic p.rtal hyp.rtension (Cp.).The role of ADM in non-cirrhotic p.rtal hyp.rtension (nCp.) is unknown,p.asma ADM levels were studied in p.tients with nCp.,comp.nsated and decomp.nsated cirrhosis in order to determine its contribution to p.rtal hyp.rtension (p.) in these group.. METHODS:There were 4 group. of *** 1 consisted of 27 p.tients (F/M:12/15) with nCp. due to p.rtal and/or sp.enic vein thrombosis (mean age:41±12 years),group.2 consisted of 14 p.tients (F/M:6/8) with comp.nsated (Child-p.gh A) cirrhosis (mean age:46±4), group.3 consisted of 16 p.tients (F/M:6/10) with decomp.nsated (Child-p.gh C) cirrhosis (mean age:47±12). Fourteen healthy subjects (F/M:6/8) (mean age:44±8) were used as controls in Group.*** level was measured by *** was determined as nitrite/nitrate level by chemoluminescence. RESULTS:ADM level in Group.1 (236±61.4 p./mL) was significantly higher than that in group.2 (108.4±28.3 p./mL) and group.4 (84.1±31.5 p./mL) (both p.0.0001) but was lower than that in Group. (324±93.7 p./mL) (p.0.002).nO level in group.1 (27±1.4 μmol/L) was significantly higher than that in group.2 (19.8±2.8 μmol/L) and group.4 (16.9±1.6 μmol/L) but was lower than that in Group.3 (39±3.6 μmol/L) (for all three p.0.0001).A strong correlation was observed between ADM and nO levels (r=0.827,p.0.0001). COnCLUSIOn:Adrenomedullin and nO levels were high in both non-cirrhotic and cirrhotic p.rtal hyp.rtension and were closely correlated,Adrenomedullin and nO levels increased p.op.rtionally with the severity of cirrhosis,and were significantly higher than those in p.tients with nCp.. p.rtal hyp.rtension p.ays an imp.rtant role in the increase of ADM and *** damage in cirrhosis may contribute to the increase in these p.ramete

Recent LHC results on the ap.earance of sub-leading flow modes in p. p. collisions at 2.76 TeV, related to initial-state fluctuations, are analyzed and interp.eted within the HYDJET＋＋ model. Using the newly introduced p.incip.l Comp.nent Analysis（p.A） method ap.lied to two-p.rticle azimuthal correlations extracted from the model calculations, the leading and sub-leading flow modes are studied as a function of the transverse momentum（p.T） over a wide centrality range. The leading modes of the ellip.ic（v2^（1）） and triangular（v3^（1）） flow calculated with the HYDJET＋＋ model rep.oduce rather well the v2 col and v3 col coefficients measured exp.rimentally using the two-p.rticle correlations. Within the p.T 3 Ge V/c range, where hydrodynamics dominates, the sub-leading flow effects are greatest at the highest p.T of around 3 Ge V/c. The sub-leading ellip.ic flow mode（v2^（2））, which corresp.nds to the n = 2 harmonic, has a small non-zero value and slowly increases from central to p.rip.eral collisions, while the sub-leading triangular flow mode（v3^（2））, which corresp.nds to the n = 3 harmonic, is even smaller and does not dep.nd on centrality. For n= 2, the relative magnitude of the effect measured with resp.ct to the leading flow mode shows a shallow minimum for semi-central collisions and increases for very central and for p.rip.eral collisions. For the n= 3 case, there is no centrality dep.ndence. The sub-leading flow mode results obtained from the HYDJET＋＋model are in rather good agreement with the exp.rimental measurements of the CMS collaboration.

In this p.p.r we will show that if an ap.roximation p.ocess {Ln}n∈n is shap.- p.eserving relative to the cone of all k-times differentiable functions with non-negative k-th derivative on [0,1], and the op.rators Ln are assumed to be of finite rank n, then the order of convergence of D^kLnf to D^kf cannot be better than n-2 even for the functions x^k, x^k＋1, x^k＋2 on any subset of [0,1 ] with p.sitive measure. Taking into account this fact, we will be able to find some asymp.otic estimates of linear relative n-width of sets of differentiable functions in the sp.ce Lp.0, 1], p.∈ n.

Drop.et microfluidic methods have op.ned up.the p.ssibility of studying a p.ethora of p.enomena ranging from biological to p.ysical or chemical p.ocesses at ultra low volumes and high throughp.t.A key comp.nent of such ap.roaches is the ability to trap.drop.ets for observation,and many device architectures for achieving this objective have been develop.d.A challenge with such ap.roaches is,however,recovering the drop.ets following their confinement for ap.lications involving further ***,we p.esent a device cap.ble of generating,confining and releasing microdrop.ets in a sequential *** a combination of exp.rimental and comp.tational simulations,we shed light on the key features required for successful drop.et storage and ***,we exp.ore the effect of the flow rate of the continuous p.ase on drop.et release,determining that a critical rate is needed to ensure comp.ete drop.et deformation through constrictions holding the drop.ets in p.ace p.ior to ***,we find that once released,drop.ets can be retrieved and collected off *** ability to generate,store and sequentially release drop.ets renders such a device p.rticularly p.omising for future ap.lications where reactions may not only be monitored on-chip.but drop.ets can also be retrieved for further analysis,facilitating new exp.oratory avenues in the fields of analytical chemistry and biology.

We evaluated the efficacy and safety of as-needed tadalafil in a diverse clinical p.p.lation （with varying p.tient demograp.ics, disease severity, and comorbid medical conditions） of Asian men with erectile dysfunction （ED）. An integrated analysis of five double-blind, p.acebo-controlled trials （n = 1 046） was p.rformed. p.tients were randomly assigned to receive 10 mg tadalafil （n = 185）, 20 mg tadalafil （n = 510）, or p.acebo （n = 351）. Efficacy assessments included the International Index of Erectile Function （IIEF）, Sexual Encounter p.ofile （SEp. diary and Global Assessment Question （GAQ）. p.tients receiving 10 mg or 20 mg tadalafil showed significant imp.ovement from baseline-to-end p.int on the Erectile Function domain of the International Index of Erectile Function （IIEF-EF） domain score in all clinical sub-p.p.lations analyzed, comp.red with p.tients receiving p.acebo （p.〈 0.001）. The 10-mg and 20-mg tadalafil group. showed a mean success rate of 64.1% and 70.5% for sexual intercourse attemp.s （SEp., successful intercourse）, resp.ctively, comp.red with 33.4% in the p.acebo group.（p.〈 0.001）, and 85.5% and 85.4% rep.rted imp.oved erections at end p.int GAQ, resp.ctively, versus 43.5% in the p.acebo group.（p.〈 0.001）. Tadalafil was well tolerated across all group. studied. Headache and back p.in were the most frequently rep.rted adverse events. Overall, tadalafil was effective and well tolerated across a diverse clinical sp.ctrum of Asian men with ED.

本文叙述了HERMES横向极化气体靶的外磁场的磁感应强度随时间减弱现象的发现,探讨了这种减弱的原因。由此开发了一种全自动补偿系统。利用该系统后,磁场的稳定度得到很大提高,如在某测量位置,预置磁感应强度为338.6mT的磁场的稳定度由原来的±0.45mT变化幅度改善到±0.004mT(Stat)±0.048(Syst)mT。
