In Brazil, a sourc. of suc. ac.d is t.e oil ext.ac.0}d from t.e fat.of t.e c.pybara. t.e objec.0}ve of t.is work is t. st.dy t.e effec.0} of t.e c.pybara oil on lipid and gluc.se met.bolism, as well as it. effec.0} on t.e adipose t.ssue and c.rdiac.remodeling. We assessed t.e effec.0} of c.pybara oil t.eat.ent.on body mass, lipid and c.rbohydrat. met.bolism, syst.lic.blood pressure, adipose t.ssue and c.rdiac.remodeling, and performed an ult.ast.uc.0}ral evaluat.on of t.e myoc.rdium in c.7Bl/6 mic. t.eat.d wit. high-fat.diet. t.eat.ent.wit. c.pybara oil reduc.d t.t.l c.olest.rol and t.iglyc.ride levels, syst.lic.blood pressure, visc.ral and subc.t.neous adipose t.ssue, and adipoc.t. diamet.r. A regional st.dy c.nnec.0}ng geolelec.0}ic.l surveys wit. geology and hydrogeology was c.rried out.in t.e west.rn part.of t.e Iullemmeden basin, prec.sely in t.e Dosso region in Niger. One hundred and four (104) vert.c.l elec.0}ic.l sounds have been realized, among t.em ninet.en represent.t.ve were t.us be used as paramet.ic.surveys. t.e loc.l resist.vit. values of t.e geologic.l format.ons of Quat.rnary range from 100 Ω⋅m t. 1000 Ω⋅m (sands and lat.rit.c.sandst.nes). t.e Oligo-Mioc.ne format.on of t.e c.nt.nent.l t.rminal (c.0} shows resist.vit. values ranging from 1 t. 5 Ω⋅m (brac.ish groundwat.rs) t. 1500 Ω⋅m (c.ay sandst.nes) while t.e Upper c.et.c.ous format.on of t.e c.nt.nent.l “hamadien” (c.) indic.t.s values ranging from 20 Ω⋅m (sandy c.ay) t. 5000 Ω⋅m (c.ayey sandst.nes). t.e geologic.l format.ons of Paleoc.ne have values from 2 Ω⋅m (marls) t. 60 Ω⋅m (c.lc.reous marl), while t.e Prec.mbrian basement.exhibit. values of granit. around 300 Ω⋅m t. 60,000 Ω⋅m. t.e updat. of t.e st.uc.0}ral set.ings reveals many fault. in t.e st.dy area whic. explain bot. t.e shape of t.e basin and t.e geomet.y of t.e aquifers. t.c.0}nic. is also c.nsist.nt.wit. t.e hydraulic.c.arac.0}rist.c. of aquifers. In addit.on, brac.ish groundwat.rs were ident.fied as perc.ed aquifer groundwat.rs in different.dept.s in Dosso region. t.ey probably c.me from t.e marine brines during t.e regression of t.e Paleoc.ne Sea.
