The present work deals with topology optimization for crashworthiness. The ground structure consists of rectangular 2D-beam elements with plastic hinges. The objective of the optimization is to obtain a desired energy absorption of the structure when the mass is prescribed. Geometric nonlinearities are also included in the analysis, so the elements can perform large rigid body rotations. The finite element solution is obtained with an implicit backward Euler algorithm. From the finite element solution the analytical sensitivities are computed using the direct differentiation method.

A switch off in jasmonate(JA)signaling by hydroxylation upon wounding was described in 2008(Miersch et al.,2008).This initiated the cloning of CYP450 enzymes involved in hydroxylation and carboxylation of JA and its amino acid conjugate JA-le,the most active form of JA compounds(reviewed by wasternack and Feussner[2018]and Heitz et al.[2019]).Due to the central role of JA and JA-lle in plant stress responses and development(wasternack and Hause,2013),catabolism of JA and its derivatives is an essential component in the sustainment of homeostasis of active JA compounds(Howe et al.,2018;Heitz et al.,2019).Catabolism of JA and JAIle takes place by JA-induced oxygenases(JOXs),also named JA-oxidases(JAOs),and by hydroxylation(CYP94b3/b1)followed by carboxylation(CYP94C1),respectively(Heitz et al.,2019).Another reaction performed by IAR3/ILL6 results in the deconjugation of JA-lle and 12-OH-JA-le to JA and 12-OH-JA,respectively(Heitz et al.,2019;wasternack and Feussner,2018).

Modern software systems are subject to a continuous evolution under frequently varying requirements andchanges in systems＇ operational environments. Lehman＇s law of continuing change demands for long-living and continuouslyevolving software to prolong its productive life and economic value by accommodating changes in existing software. Reusableknowledge and practices have proven to be successful for continuous development and evolution of the software effectivelyand efficiently. However, challenges such as empirical acquisition and systematic application of the reusable knowledge andpractices must be addressed to enable or enhance software evolution. we investigate architecture change logs -- mininghistories of architecture-centric software evolution -- to discover change patterns that 1） support reusability of architecturalchanges and 2） enhance the efficiency of the architecture evolution process. we model architecture change logs as a graphand apply graph-based formalism （i.e., graph mining techniques） to discover software architecture change patterns. wehave developed a prototype that enables tool-driven automation and user decision support during software evolution. wehave used the ISO-IEC-9126 model to qualitatively evaluate the proposed solution. The evaluation results suggest that theproposed solution 1） enables the reusability of frequent architectural changes and 2） enhances the efficiency of architecture-centric software evolution process. The proposed solution promotes research efforts to exploit the history of architecturalchanges to empirically discover knowledge that can guide architecture-centric software evolution.

This review analyzes progress and limitations of diagnosis, screening, and therapy of patients with chronic hepatitis b infection. A literature review was carried out by framing the study questions. Vaccination in early childhood has been introduced in most countries and reduces the infection rate. Treatment of chronic hepatitis b can control viral replication in most patients today. It reduces risks for progression and may reverse liver fibrosis. The treatment effect on development of hepatocellular carcinoma is less pronounced when cirrhosis is already present. Despite the success of vaccination and therapy chronic hepatitis b remains a problem since many infected patients do not know of their disease. Although all guidelines recommend screening in high risk groups such as migrants, these suggestions have not been implemented. In addition, the performance of hepatocellular cancer surveillance under real-life conditions is poor. The majority of people with chronic hepatitis b live in resource-constrained settings where effective drugs are not available. Despite the success of vaccination and therapy chronic hepatitis b infection remains a major problem since many patients do not know of their disease. The problems in diagnosis andscreening may be overcome by raising awareness, promoting partnerships, and mobilizing resources.

In this paper a stochastic volatility model is considered. That is, a log price process Y whichis given in terms of a volatility process V is studied. The latter is defined such that the logprice possesses some of the properties empirically observed by barndorff-Nielsen & Jiang[6]. Inthe model there are two sets of unknown parameters, one set corresponding to the marginaldistribution of V and one to autocorrelation of V. based on discrete time observations ofthe log price the authors discuss how to estimate the parameters appearing in the marginaldistribution and find the asymptotic properties.

AIM To evaluate magnitude/direction of changes in peripheral lipid profiles in patients undergoing direct acting therapy for hepatitis C by *** Mono-infected patients with hepatitis C were treated with guideline-based DAAs at a university-based liver clinic. Patient characteristics and laboratory values were collected before and after the treatment period. baseline demographics included age, ethnicity, hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, treatment regimen, and fibrosis stage. Total cholesterol(TCHOL), high density lipoprotein(HDL), low density lipoprotein(LDL), triglycerides(TG), and liver function tests were measured prior to treatment and ETR. Changes in lipid and liver function were evaluated by subgroups with respect to genotype. Mean differences were calculated for each lipid profile and liver function component(direction/magnitude). The mean differences in lipid profiles were then compared between genotypes for differences in direction/magnitude. Lipid profile and liver function changes were evaluated with Levene's test and student's t test. Mean differences in lipid profiles were compared between genotypes using ANOVA, post hoc analysis via the bonferroni correction or Dunnett *** Three hundred and seventy five patients enrolled with 321(85.6%) achieving sustained-viral response at 12 wk. 72.3% were genotype 1(GT1), 18.1% genotype 2(GT2), 9.7% genotype 3(GT3). baseline demographics were similar. Significant change in lipid profiles were seen with GT1 and GT3(ΔGT1, p and ΔGT3, p), with TCHOL increasing(+5.3, P = 0.005 and +16.1, P were seen with TCHOL(+5.3 v. +0.1 v. +16.1, P = 0.017) and HDL(+12.3 v. +2 v. +7.9, P = 0.040).
