Study of a Kit of GSM Radio Operator Site for Event-Driven Movable Coverage: Application to the Deployment of a Site of the Orange Operator in Ivory Coast

The mobile communication is nowadays one of the basic needs of humanity. It is essential to the flourishing of human beings. Considering this reality, the need to use its mobile phone is become more important and diversified. The subscribers of the various mobile telephone operators are increasingly demanding. This situation poses the problems of the cover mobile network to the operators and leads them to opt for several solutions and investments. The mobile operators in order to satisfy their customers use a policy of pushing the limits of network coverage in time and space for festive moments in targeted zones. Thus, we have conducted a study on the topic: study of a kit of GSM radio site for event-driven movable coverage. This work is applied to GSM (Global system mobile) network of the operator Orange-Ci, leader of mobile telephony in Ivory Coast. We thus proceeded under investigation initially of the various aspects of the ordinary sites (motionless radio site) which are already deployed with Orange-Ci in order to impregnate us infrastructures and equipment used. This study revealed us that a radio site comprises 4 parts: infrastructures, installations and energy equipments, installations and radio equipments, and installations and equipment of transmission. After the first analysis, we made a study of the movable site. The study of the movable site enabled us to see the various possible solutions to fulfill the basic functions of a movable radio site. After analysis we retained that our radio site will be built on a truck on which a mast of 25 m maximum length for the antennas will be embarked, it will be fed by a generator also embarked on the truck and the solution of transmission selected is the transmission by satellite more precisely technology VSAT. We choose the various equipments (radio, transmission, energy) according to features which we defined to constitute the kit of movable radio site.

Pure Condition of Both 6R Serial and 3-PRS Parallel Robots Using Grassmann-Cayley Algebra

This research presents Pure Condition approach, which has used in analyzing simultaneously the singularity configuration and the rigidity of mechanism. The study cases analysis is implemented on variable joints orientation of 6R (Revolute) Serial Manipulators (SMs) and variable actuated joints position of 3-PRS (Prismatic-Revolute-Spherical) Parallel Manipulators (PMs) using Grassmann-Cayley Algebra (GCA). In this work we require in Projective Space both Twist System (TS) and Global Wrench System (GWS) respectively for serial and parallel manipulators which represent the Jacobian Matrix (J) in symbolic approach to Plücker coordinate vector of lines and unify framework on static and kinematics respectively. This paper, works, is designed to determine geometrically at symbolic level the vanished points of inverse form of this Jacobian Matrix (J) which called superbracket in GCA. The investigation vary to those reported early by introducing GCA approach on the singularity of serial robot, variable joints orientation and actuated positions on robot manipulators (RMs) to analyze rigidity frame work and singularity configuration which involve simultaneously Pure Condition. And the results also revealed a single singularity condition which contains all particulars cases and three general cases such as the shoulder, elbow and wrist singularity for SMs while double, single and undermined singularities respectively for 3-PRS, 3-PRS and 3-PRS PMs which contain all generals and particulars cases.

Socio-Medical and Demographic Factors Associated with Perinatal Mortality in a Southern Benin Health Zone Hospital in 2020: A Case-Control Study

Background: Perinatal mortality remains a major public health concern in developing countries such as Benin. To better steer response interventions, this study was carried out in southern Benin with the aim of identifying the demographic and socio-medical factors linked to perinatal mortality. Methods: The case-control study, held from January 1 to December 31, 2020, covered 154 targets, including 77 cases of neonates deceased within the perinatal period and 77 live-born control neonates selected on a one-for-one basis. Univariate analysis using the McNemar test and logistic regression were used to identify risk factors for perinatal mortality, at a 5% threshold of significance. Results: Sahoué/mina ethnicities, only associated socio-demographic characteristic, increased the risk of perinatal death by 2.47 times (p = 0.008). Mother’s age, education, occupation, marital status, and household size were not associated (p > 0.05). Risk of death was increased 2.5 times when the mother was referred (p = 0.007), 3.3 times when she came from a hard-to-reach locality (p Conclusion: Although attention must also be paid to referral and access to care, this study identifies antenatal consultation as the main target of any intervention to reduce perinatal mortality.

Analysis of the Relevance of Evaluation Criteria for Multicomponent Image Segmentation

Image segmentation is an important stage in many applications such as image, video and computer processing. Generally image interpretation depends on it. The materials and methods used to demonstrate are described. The results are presented and analyzed. Several approaches and algorithms for image segmentation have been developed, but it is difficult to evaluate the efficiency and to make an objective comparison of different segmentation methods. This general problem has been addressed for the evaluation of a segmentation result and the results are available in the literature. In this work, we first presented some criteria of evaluation of segmentation commonly used in image processing with reviews of their models. Then multicomponent synthetic images of known composition are applied to these criteria to explore the operation and evaluate its relevance. The results show that choosing an assessment method depends on the purpose, however the criterion of Zeboudj appears powerful for the evaluation of region segmentations for properly separated classes, on the contrary the criteria of Levine-Nazif and Borsotti are adapted to the methods of classification and permit to build homogeneous regions or classes. The values of the Rosenbeger criterion are generally low and similar, so hard to make a comparison of segmentations with this criterion.

The oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is a diploid perennial plant of the Arecaceae family. It is the most important plant cultivated for oil production. To ensure this production, certain optimal conditions are required: temperature, sunshine, rainfall, etc. The oil palm ensures its survival through the fruits borne on bunches located at the axis of the 17th to 20th leaves from the central stem. From pollination to the maturity of a bunch it takes about 4.5 to 6 months. Several events occur during this period: seed enlargement, weight increase, colour change, etc., but also important physiological changes: synthesis of some pigments (anthocyanin), increase in oil content correlated with the decrease in water content, etc. All of these constitute factors that can provide a better understanding of the biology of the seed. The aim of this work was to review some of the important parameters involved in the development and maturation of oil palm fruit bunches. These factors are classified into physiological, biochemical as well as environmental. The physiological parameters are color, appearance of embryo, seed weight and fruit detachment from bunches;Biochemical parameters include water content, oil content, carbohydrate, protein, mineral contents and lipase activity while temperature is the main environmental factor that affects fruit maturation. Thorough research has not yet been done at the different stages of maturation and ripening, thus a deep look into this may open up new avenues for research on early germinated oil palm seed production prior to seed dormancy.

Estimating Directional Distribution for Co-Existent Field of Incident and Reflected Waves

In the nearshore, the wave field contains reflected and incident waves in which there is correlation between their phases due to the effect of reflection by some obstacles. Based on the extended eigenvector method (EEV) derived by Guan et al., a modified method (MEEV) is proposed as a general and practical approach to estimating directional spectra for the co-existent field of incident and reflected waves and a formula is given for direct calculation of the reflection coefficient. The results of numerical simulations show that MEEV is superior to EEV in resolution power, and the computed reflection coefficient agrees well with the real value within a certain range of incident angle.

Is There Still a Place for Post-Resuscitation Electrocardiogram for Therapeutic Management and Coronary Angiogram Indication after Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest?

Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is a common cause of death. Some therapeutic strategies performed daily are still debated, including particularly emergency coronary angiography independently of the clinical pattern. Primary percutaneous coronary intervention seems the strategy of choice in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction but in other clinical presentations, benefit of coronary angiogram remains controversial. To improve management of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and define the best timing to perform coronary angiogram, we suggest a study design based on ECG evaluation to define predictors of coronary artery disease after resuscitated cardiac arrest by distinguishing 3 groups according to ECG after resuscitation: ST segment elevation and LBBB;repolarisation disorder or no repolarisation disorder. Evaluation of ECG changes may still be useful as a triage method for establishing the indication for emergency coronary angiogram due to easy, non invasive and quick method and thus for limiting complications associated with this exam in acute phase.

Background: The diagnosis and treatment of active tuberculosis and the detection/management of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) cases are the two main strategies for the TB control, particularly in endemic countries. Tuberculin skin test (TST) and Interferon Gamma Release Assays (IGRAs) are tools for detection of LTBI. The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of the TST and QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus® (QTF-Plus) and to identify a threshold for TST in best agreement with QTF-Plus for LTBI detection in a high TB burden setting. Methods: In July 2020, a cross-sectional analytical study was performed for QFT-Plus using blood samples and TST in 101 individuals with a high risk of TB living in Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso. A crude comparison between both tests was done and receiver operating characteristic curve was generated to determine TST’s threshold. TST sensitivity, specificity, predictive values and accuracy were calculated. Adjusted agreement between TST and QFT-Plus was evaluated. Results: With the minimum threshold of positivity set at 5 mm for TST, the overall agreement between the latter and QFT-Plus was poor with a Kappa coefficient (κ) rated at 0.319 (95% CI: 0.131 - 0.508). This cut-off yielded a sensitivity of 94.12% (95% CI: 88.53 - 99.71), and very poor specificity of 36.4% (95% IC: 25.0 - 47.80). However, an adjusted cut-off set at 11 mm gave a better specificity of 72.73% (95% CI: 62.1 - 83.30) of TST and improved the PPV (86%). Moreover, concordance between both tests was improved with κ at 0.56 (95% CI: 0.385 - 0.728) and 80.20% of accuracy. Factors associated with discordance between TST (11 mm) and QFT-Plus results were BCG vaccination, OR = 7.53 (95% CI: 1.43 - 139.25), p = 0.05 and chronic cough, OR = 5.07 (95% CI: 1.27 - 20.43), p = 0.01. Conclusions: This study showed that using a minimal cut-off of 11mm for TST significantly improved the concordance between QTF-Plus (IGRA) and TST. Using the cut-off TST of

Prevalence and Risk Factors of Vaginal Trichomoniasis in Women: Study at the University Hospital of Pikine in the Suburbs of Dakar, Senegal

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the epidemiology of genital trichomoniasis in Senegal. It sought to determine the prevalence and risk factors associated with this condition in Senegal. Methodology: The study took place at the university hospital of Pikine in the suburbs of Dakar. For each of the women recruited, socio-demographic data, clinical examination data and the results of direct examination of the vaginal sample were collected in a questionnaire designed for this purpose. Results: A total of 312 women with a mean age of 31.13 (±8.41) years were recruited in this study. The majority of these women (59.94%;95% CI = 54.25 - 65.38), were seen for an infectious diseases assessment. Leucorrhea (58.33%;95% CI = 52.63 - 63.83) and genital discharge on vaginal touch (99.36%;95% CI = 97.45 - 99.89) were the predominant signs on clinical examination. The overall prevalence of vaginal trichomoniasis after direct examination of the specimens was 1.28% (95% CI = 0.41 - 3.47). Only the distribution of this prevalence by occupation was statistically significant (p = 0.0004). Conclusion: The low prevalence of genital trichomoniasis in women and the risk factors associated with it found in this study, which took place about ten years ago, should prompt an update of the data to better define the problem in Senegal.
