Acceptance and Factors Associated With Participation in Functional Cure–Related Trials Among People Living With HIV: A Cross-sectional Study in Southern China

HIV remains a global health challenge,and research efforts directed towards a functional cure require people living with HIV(PLHIV)in-volvement in clinical *** study assessed willingness to participate in HIV functional cure–related clinical trials and associated factors among PLHIV in Guangzhou,China,using a questionnaire survey *** analyzed responses from 718 questionnaires,finding that 71.2%were willing to participate in Phase Ⅲtrials,while 51.7%were willing to participate in Phase I trials and 42.9%expressed acceptability for analytic treatment *** logistic regression demonstrated that male PLHIV,those with awareness of functional cure,and PLHIV,who had been on antiretroviral therapy(ART)for less than 1 year,were more willing to partic-ipate in Phase Ⅲ*** with a body mass index greater than 24,and those without resistance to ART drug were more willing to participate in Phase I *** major motivations for participation in Phase Ⅲtrials were access to cutting-edge treatments(62.6%)and supporting research(55.3%).Safety was the main concern contributing to *** study revealed a high willingness to participate in HIV functional cure–related trials among PLHIV in Guangzhou,China,and willingness varied across different trial phases and was influenced by multiple *** study provides valuable references for future clinical trial recruitment strategies and public health policy formulation.

小清河是山东省内从济南流向莱州湾的一条河道,在断航26年之后于2023年7月复航。本文着重探讨小清河复航前后辛丰庄断面水文水质指标的变化情况,并进一步分析主要污染因子在复航前后的变化情况。通过相关性分析和主成分分析的综合结果表明,确定复航后可能对小清河水质产生重要影响的水质指标为CODMn和TP;通过随机森林模型进行预测分析的结果表明:复航后三个月内,相关水质的关键指标均保持稳定,且优于Ⅲ类水质标准。研究表明复航对小清河水质并未产生显著影响。这一研究不仅为未来的小清河长期复航计划提供有力支持,同时也对国家“三水统筹”政策的贯彻实施具有重要意义。

针对互联网医疗模式下电子处方共享的现状,探索“互联网+处方共享”在医疗机构的实施方案,设计门诊处方共享平台的系统架构和系统功能,并从数据安全和应用安全两个层面探讨系统安全。该平台是一套基于SpringBoot框架开发的服务,采用SpringBoot 2.3、MyBatis、RabbitMQ等核心技术,前端采用Vue、AntDesign提供管理后台以快速搭建系统,通过Vant UI技术框架快速搭建微信小程序,H5等载体的多端应用提供了患者端、医生端、药师端的小程序。另外,系统通过接口平台和医院信息系统、合理用药系统、药店、医保支付等平台实现互联互通,打通“医”“药”“险”3个环节,实现线上线下一体化的电子处方共享服务。

Persistently low CD4 cell counts are associated with hepatic events in HCV/HIV coinfected patients: data from the national free antiretroviral treatment program of China

Background: Chronic liver disease has emerged as a leading cause of non-acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS)-related mortality in hepatitis C virus (HCV)/human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-coinfected patients. The relationship between CD4 cell count and HIV-related opportunistic infections and tumors has been well characterized;however, it is unclear whether CD4 cell count is associated with HCV-related hepatic ***: This observational cohort study enrolled HCV/HIV-coinfected patients from the National Free Antiretroviral Treatment Program of China from 2004 to 2019 in Guangzhou. The primary outcome was a composite of hepatic events, including cirrhosis complications, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and liver-related mortality. Kaplan-Meier survival and multivariate logistic regression analyses were ***: Among the 793 patients, 43 developed hepatic events during a median follow-up of 6.7 years, including 35 cirrhosis complications, 13 HCC cases, and 14 cases of liver-related mortality. The 5-year and 10-year cumulative incidences of hepatic events were 4.2% and 9.3%, respectively. Patients who developed hepatic events had a less satisfactory increase in CD4 cell count, lower peak CD4 (354.5 cells/μLvs. 560.0 cells/μL,P 500 cells/μL (30.2%vs. 60.7%,P 500 cells/μL. Peak CD4 was negatively associated with the risk of hepatic events in a dose-response manner (P-value for trend = 0.004).Conclusion: Persistently low CD4 cell counts after ART are independent

Thermodynamic theory of flotation for a complex multiphase solid -liquid system and high-entropy flotation

The flotation of complex solid–liquid multiphase systems involve interactions among multiple components,the core problem facing flotation ***,the combined use of multicomponent flotation reagents to improve mineral flotation has become an important issue in studies on the efficient use of refractory mineral ***,studying the flotation of complex solid–liquid systems is extremely difficult,and no systematic theory has been developed to *** addition,the physical mechanism associated with combining reagents to improve the flotation effect has not been unified,which limits the development of flotation theory and the progress of flotation *** this study,we applied theoretical thermodynamics to a solid–liquid flotation system and used changes in the entropy and Gibbs free energy of the reagents adsorbed on the mineral surface to establish thermodynamic equilibrium equations that de-scribe interactions among various material components while also introducing adsorption equilibrium constants for the flotation reagents adsorbed on the mineral *** homogenization effect on the mineral surface in pulp solution was determined using the chemical potentials of the material components of the various mineral surfaces required to maintain *** flotation effect can be improved through synergy among multicomponent flotation reagents;its physical essence is the thermodynamic law that as the number of compon-ents of flotation reagents on the mineral surface increases,the surface adsorption entropy change increases,and the Gibbs free energy change of adsorption *** to the results obtained using flotation thermodynamics theory,we established high-entropy flotation theory and a technical method in which increasing the types of flotation reagents adsorbed on the mineral surface,increasing the adsorption entropy change of the flotation reagents,decreasing the Gibbs free energy change,and improving the adsorption efficiency

Observation of gapless corner modes of photonic crystal slabs in synthetic translation dimensions

Isotopic insights on quantitative assessments of interaction of eco-hydrological processes in multi-scale karst watersheds

The dynamics of hydrological processes and the storage mechanisms of karst water resources are the most important issues in karst *** impact of environmental changes on water quantity,and the evaluation and quantification of eco-hydrological processes remain poorly *** this study,high-frequency continuous monitoring in multi-scale karst watersheds in Southwest China combined the approaches of water isotopes and the hybrid single-particle lagrangian integrated trajectory(HYSPLIT)model to identify the recharge mechanisms between atmospheric vapor,rainfall,surface water,and groundwater,and to reveal the interaction of eco-hydrological *** dominant moisture sources in Puding(PD)County were the Indian Ocean(43-69%)and local moisture(24-33%).Theδ^(18)O and deuterium excess(d-excess)values showed a positive correlation indicating that secondary or sub-cloud evaporation was prominent in the wet *** water line-conditioned excess(lc-excess)indicated that karst water interacted with recent precipitation,groundwater,and evaporation across *** to its specific hydrogeological structure,surface water and rainwater have a higher contribution rate to groundwater *** Chenqi stream replenished the Houzhai River mainly in the form of groundwater,with percentages ranging from 38.1 to 93.5%in the wet season,and 47.8-80.1%in the dry *** the Houzhai outlet,surface water and groundwater interconverted frequently with a percentage of 45.6-49.1%.We believe this is the first systematic study to quantify the supply relationship between water vapor transport,rainfall,surface water and groundwater in the Chinese karst zone,making a significant move forward in the field of karst hydrological processes and improving the efficiency of water resource evaluation and management.

Efficacy and Safety of Iron Isomaltoside Compared with an Oral Iron Supplement in the Management of Patients with Iron Deficiency Anemia

Objective: To evaluate the treatment outcome of iron isomaltoside compared with an oral iron supplement in the management of iron deficiency anemia (IDA). Methods: The study included patients with IDA who visited the Outpatient Clinic of the Department of Hematology, the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from October 2021 to August 2022 and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. According to the actual application of iron supplementation, the patients were divided into two groups: iron isomaltoside treatment group and oral iron treatment group. Baseline measurements were collected before the start of treatment, and measurements were collected subsequently at intervals of 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months. The hematological parameters analyzed included Hemoglobin (Hb), Mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH), Mean Hemoglobin content (MCH), Mean corpuscular Hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and Platelet (Plt). Safety data and adverse event profiles were recorded. Results: Intra-group comparisons: After 1 month of treatment, the Hb significantly improved (P 0.05). Inter-group comparisons: The biochemical parameters were significantly improved (P 0.05) in the iron isomaltoside group compared with those in the oral iron group after 1 month of iron supplementation in patients with mild and moderate anemia. Adverse reactions were tolerable for the patients in both iron isomaltoside group and oral iron group. Only 1 patient in iron isomaltoside group developed anaphylactic shock during medication and recovered after aggressive rescue. Conclusions: Iron isomaltoside which increases Hb more rapidly compared with the oral iron supplementation has few adverse reactions and good acceptance.
