Energy storage devices have been extensively owing to their critical role in addressing the energy and environment *** trivalent metal batteries are promising due to their unique three-electron redox reactions for high reversible capacity and high safety [1]. Especially, aqueous aluminum-based batteries have attracted significant attention [2]. However, severe water decomposition occurs due to their low redox potential (Al3+/Al,-1.66 V vs. SHE)[3]. In contrast, the metallic indium (In)/or In3+has a more suitable redox potential (-0.34 V vs. SHE), which is within the water stability window, minimizingwater decomposition [4]. Recently, a study on trivalent indium metal batteries was firstly reported by Wu’s group in Journal of the American Chemical Society [5].

BACKGROUND Ras-related protein Rab24,which belongs to the small GTPase family,plays a crucial role in regulating intracellular protein *** of Rab24 has been recently identified in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,its clinical significance and tumor related effects remain to be further *** To explore the expression pattern of Rab24 and its role in HCC *** The expression profile of Rab24 was tested in HCC tissues together with adjacent tissues from transcriptional,mRNA,and protein *** prognostic role of Rab24 in HCC was assessed by univariate and multivariate *** outcomes were evaluated by the Kaplan-Meier analysis and log-rank *** effect of Rab24 on cell proliferation was tested through cellular experiments and xenograft *** Rab24 expression was elevated in HCC tissues compared to adjacent liver *** expression of Rab24 was significantly associated with larger tumor size and advanced tumor ***,HCC patients with high Rab24 expression showed poorer overall survival,and Rab24 was identified as an independent prognosis factor according to multivariate *** using overexpression and shRNA knockdown strategies in HCC cell lines,we found that Rab24 can promote HCC ***,we validated that silencing Rab24 significantly attenuated xenograft growth in *** Our study demonstrated that high expression of Rab24 was significantly correlated with poorer prognosis of HCC patients,indicating the potential of Rab24 as a novel clinical biomarker and therapeutic target.

采用学习 -测验 (自由回忆和再认 )研究范式和事件相关电位方法 ,研究图形的相继记忆效应 (Dm效应 )。14名大学生作为研究被试 ,根据其测验成绩将图片分为记住和未记住两类 ,对相应编码过程中的ERPs进行分析。结果表明 :⑴行为上 ,再认的平均击中率显著高于自由回忆 ;⑵脑电活动上 ,在刺激出现后 4 0 0～ 70 0ms编码过程中记住项目的ERPs更正于未记住项目的ERPs;同时两种测验方式Dm效应的脑区分布不同 ,自由回忆主要分布在额区 ,再认主要分布在中央区和顶区 ,且在 5 0 0～ 6 0 0ms自由回忆有左侧优势。这些结果表明 ,两种提取方式对Dm效应有不同的影响。

Hydrogen is a renewable and clean energy,and photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen evolution technology is a promising technical means to solve the development *** this study,the ternary composite Co_(8)POM@MXene–CdS hybrid catalyst was constructed and used for photocatalytic hydrogen *** the condition of AM 1.5G simulated sunlight,the photocatalytic H_(2) evolution rate of the ternary composite was 8.13 mmol g^(−1) h^(−1),which was more than 25 times higher than that of the bare *** means of synchronous illumination X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(SI-XPS)and density functional theory(DFT)calculations,it was proved that the loading of MXene and Co_(8)POM improved the photogenerated carrier separation and immigration efficiency on *** photogenerated electrons transfer from CdS to ***_(8)POM containing the{Co_(4)O_(3)}quasi-cubane,as an oxidation co-catalyst,accepts photogenerated holes from CdS to catalyze the oxidation reaction of TEOA,which improves the photocatalytic hydrogen production activity and the stability of CdS.

Dementia is characterized by synaptic and neuronal dysfunction in disease-specific brain regions. Repeated failure of dementia clinical trials with therapeutic drugs targeting abnormal protein aggregates has caused researchers to shift their focus to synaptic functions and increased the importance of clinically available imaging for synaptic density and the development of synapse-targeted intervention. Synaptic density imaging with positron emission tomography (PET) tracer enables non-invasive detection of synaptic loss and hence investigates the association with other neuropathological events exemplified by disease-specific abnormal protein accumulation. Many studies have reviewed the progress of synaptic density imaging;however, to our knowledge, there is no article yet that summarizes the research progress of multimodal imaging of synaptic density tracers combined with other dementia biomarkers. Moreover, synaptic function intervention for dementia therapy has not yet been summarized. In this review, first we detail the progress of synaptic density imaging including tracer development and preclinical/clinical application, followed by a discussion of multimodal imaging of synaptic density tracers combined with classic dementia biomarkers in the clinical research stage. Finally, we briefly summarize the synapse-targeted drugs for dementia therapy. © 2024

Upper bound stability analysis of tiered geosynthetic-reinforced soil wall

The tiered geosynthetic-reinforced soil (GRS) walls have been increasingly applied in the high and steep retaining soil structures. However, very little is known about the design method for the tiered GRS wall in practice. This study is aimed at proposing an upper-bound stability analysis method of a tiered GRS wall. The proposed method was firstly validated by the existing results from the centrifuge test and the numerical method, and then a parametric study was performed to investigate the effects of the cohesionless backfill friction angle φ1 and the wall geometric parameters including the offset distance, the total wall height, the batter angle δ, the number of tiers n, and wall height ratio of adjacent tiers on the dimensionless equivalent earth pressure coefficient KT. The analysis results demonstrated that as the φ1 increases, the shear strength of backfill is enhanced and thus the KT or the total reinforcement tensile force decreases, and the KT decreases with the increase of the offset distance at the initial stage and then becomes stable when it reaches a certain critical value. For a fixed offset distance, the KT or the total reinforcement tensile force decreases with the increase of the δ. For the two-tiered GRS walls having the offset distance less than the critical value, the wall with the smaller wall height ratio has a larger KT. Further, the variation of the location of the critical failure surfaces of tiered GRS walls was presented in this study with the variation of the φ1 and the wall geometry.

DecMamba:Mamba Utilizing Series Decomposition for Multivariate Time Series Forecasting

Multivariate time series forecasting iswidely used in traffic planning,weather forecasting,and energy *** decomposition algorithms can help models better understand the underlying patterns of the original series to improve the forecasting accuracy of multivariate time ***,the decomposition kernel of previous decomposition-based models is fixed,and these models have not considered the differences in frequency fluctuations between *** problems make it difficult to analyze the intricate temporal variations of real-world time *** this paper,we propose a series decomposition-based Mamba model,DecMamba,to obtain the intricate temporal dependencies and the dependencies among different variables of multivariate time series.A variable-level adaptive kernel combination search module is designed to interact with information on different trends and periods between *** backbone structures are proposed to emphasize the differences in frequency fluctuations of seasonal and trend *** with superior performance is used instead of a Transformer in backbone structures to capture the dependencies among different variables.A new embedding block is designed to capture the temporal features better,especially for the high-frequency seasonal component whose semantic information is difficult to acquire.A gating mechanism is introduced to the decoder in the seasonal backbone to improve the prediction accuracy.A comparison with ten state-of-the-art models on seven real-world datasets demonstrates that DecMamba can better model the temporal dependencies and the dependencies among different variables,guaranteeing better prediction performance for multivariate time series.
