3D printing of poly(ethyleneimine)-functionalized Mg-Al mixed metal oxide monoliths for direct air capture of CO_(2)

Direct air capture(DAC)of CO_(2)plays an indispensable role in achieving carbon-neutral goals as one of the key negative emission *** large air flows are required to capture the ultradilute CO_(2)from the air,lab-synthesized adsorbents in powder form may cause unacceptable gas pressure drops and poor heat and mass transfer efficiencies.A structured adsorbent is essential for the implementation of gas-solid contactors for cost-and energy-efficient DAC *** this study,efficient adsorbent poly(ethyleneimine)(PEI)-functionalized Mg-Al-CO_(3)layered double hydroxide(LDH)-derived mixed metal oxides(MMOs)are three-dimensional(3D)printed into monoliths for the first time with more than 90%adsorbent *** printing process has been optimized by initially printing the LDH powder into monoliths followed by calcination into MMO *** structure exhibits a 32.7%higher specific surface area and a 46.1%higher pore volume,as compared to the direct printing of the MMO powder into a *** impregnation of PEI,the monolith demonstrates a large adsorption capacity(1.82 mmol/g)and fast kinetics(0.7 mmol/g/h)using a CO_(2)feed gas at 400 ppm at 25℃,one of the highest values among the shaped DAC *** of the amino-polymers during the post-printing process affects the diffusion of CO_(2),resulting in slower adsorption kinetics of pre-impregnation monoliths compared to post-impregnation *** optimal PEI/MeOH ratio for the post-impregnation solution prevents pores clogging that would affect both adsorption capacity and kinetics.

In this paper,a class of holomorphic invariant metrics is introduced on the irreducible classical domains of typesⅠ-Ⅳ,which are strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler metrics in the strict sense of Abate and Patrizio(1994).These metrics are of particular interest in several complex variables since they are holomorphic invariant complex Finsler metrics found in the literature which enjoy good regularity as well as strong pseudoconvexity and can be explicitly expressed to admit differential geometry *** are,however,not necessarily Hermitian quadratic as the Bergman *** metrics are explicitly constructed via deformation of the corresponding Bergman metric on the irreducible classical domains of typesⅠ-Ⅳ,respectively,and they are all proved to be complete K?hler-Berwald *** enjoy very similar curvature properties as those of the Bergman metric on the irreducible classical domains,i.e.,their holomorphic sectional curvatures are bounded between two negative constants and their holomorphic bisectional curvatures are always nonpositive and bounded below by negative constants,*** the viewpoint of complex analysis,these metrics are analogs of Bergman metrics in complex Finsler geometry which do not necessarily have Hermitian quadratic restrictions in the sense of Chern(1996).

In order to study the combustion characteristics of tar in biomass gasifier inner wall and gasification gas,“tobacco stem semi-tar inside furnace”,“tobacco stem tar inside furnace”and“tobacco stem tar out-of-furnace”were subjected to thermogravimetric experiments,and the combustion characteristics and kinetic characteristics were *** result shows that“tobacco stem semi-tar inside furnace”has the highest value and“tobacco stem tar out-of-furnace”is has the lowest value on ignition characteristics,combustion characteristics and combustible stability;“tobacco stem semi-tar inside furnace”has the lowest value and“tobacco stem tar outside furnace”has the highest value on burnout characteristics;“tobacco stem tar outside furnace”has the highest value and“tobacco stem tar inside furnace”has the lowest value on integrated combustion characteristics.

Switching the reaction routes in peroxymonosulfate(PMS)-based advanced oxidation processes have attracted much attention but remain ***,a series of Co-N/C catalysts with different compositions and structures were prepared by using bimetallic zeolitic imidazolate frameworks based on ZIF-8 and ZIF-67(x Zn/Co-ZIFs).Results show that Co doping amount could mediate the transformation of the activation pathway of PMS over CoN/*** Co doping amount was less than 10%,the constructed x Co-N/C/PMS system(x≤10%)was singlet oxygen-dominated reaction;however further increasing Co doping amount would lead to the generation and coexistence of sulfate radicals and high-valent cobalt,besides singlet ***,the nitrogen-coordinated Co(Co-NX)sites could serve as main catalytically active sites to generate singlet *** excess Co doping amount caused the formation of Co nanoparticles from which leached Co ions were responsible for the generation of sulfate radicals and high-valent *** to undoped N/C,Co doping could significantly enhance the catalytic *** 0.5%Co-N/C could achieve the optimum degradation(0.488 min^(-1))and mineralization abilities(78.4%)of sulfamethoxazole among the investigated Co-N/C catalysts,which was superior to most of previously reported *** addition,the application prospects of the two systems in different environmental scenarios(pH,inorganic anions and natural organic matter)were assessed and showed different degradation *** study provides a strategy to regulate the reactive species in PMS-based advanced oxidation process.

The effects of surf zone eddy generated by alongshore currents on the deformation and transport of dye are still poorly understood,and related tracer release experiments are ***,a tracer release laboratory experiment was conducted under monochromatic,unidirectional incident waves with a large incident angle(30°)on a plane beach with a 1:100 slope in a large wave basin.A charge-coupled device suspended above the basin recorded the dye patch *** evolution of eddy dye patch was observed and the transport and diffusion were analyzed based on the collected ***,a linear instability numerical model was adopted to calculate the perturbation velocity field at the initial *** observation and image processing results show that surf zone eddy patches occurred and were separated from the original dye *** numerical analysis results demonstrate that the structure of the perturbation velocity field is consistent with the experimental observations,and that the ejection of eddy patches shoreward or offshore may be ascribed to the double vortex.

Enhancing Dense Small Object Detection in UAV Images Based on Hybrid Transformer

Transformer-based models have facilitated significant advances in object ***,their extensive computational consumption and suboptimal detection of dense small objects curtail their applicability in unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)*** these limitations,we propose a hybrid transformer-based detector,H-DETR,and enhance it for dense small objects,leading to an accurate and efficient ***,we introduce a hybrid transformer encoder,which integrates a convolutional neural network-based cross-scale fusion module with the original encoder to handle multi-scale feature sequences more ***,we propose two novel strategies to enhance detection performance without incurring additional inference *** filter is designed to cope with the dense clustering inherent in drone-captured images by counteracting similar queries with a training-aware non-maximum *** denoising learning is a novel enhancement method inspired by adversarial learning,which improves the detection of numerous small targets by counteracting the effects of artificial spatial and semantic *** experiments on the VisDrone and UAVDT datasets substantiate the effectiveness of our approach,achieving a significant improvement in accuracy with a reduction in computational *** method achieves 31.9%and 21.1%AP on the VisDrone and UAVDT datasets,respectively,and has a faster inference speed,making it a competitive model in UAV image object detection.

Let(M1×（λ1,λ2）M2, F) be a doubly twisted product complex Finsler manifold of two strongly pseudoconvex complex Finsler manifolds（M1, F1） and（M2, F2）. Denote by M the product manifold of M1and M2. In this paper, we first give the characterization for（M, F） to be of constant holomorphic curvature, and prove that（M, F） is of constant holomorphic curvature if and only if（M, F）,（M1, F1）, and（M2, F2） all have vanishing holomorphic curvature under the condition that ln λ1and ln λ2are both pluriharmonic ***, we obtain the classification for（M, F） to be a complex Landsberg manifold. Finally, we prove that a strongly convex doubly twisted product complex Finsler manifold（M, F） is projectively flat（resp. dually flat）if and only if λ1F1and λ2F2are both complex Minkowski metrics.

Phagocytosis,a vital defense mechanism,involves the recognition and elimination of foreign substances by ***,such as neutrophils and macrophages,rapidly respond to invaders;macrophages are especially important in later stages of the immune *** detect“find me”signals to locate apoptotic cells and migrate toward *** cells then send“eat me”signals that are recognized by phagocytes via specific receptors.“Find me”and“eat me”signals can be strategically harnessed to modulate antitumor immunity in support of cancer *** signals,such as calreticulin and phosphatidylserine,mediate potent pro-phagocytic effects,thereby promoting the engulfment of dying cells or their remnants by macrophages,neutrophils,and dendritic cells and inducing tumor cell *** review summarizes the phagocytic“find me”and“eat me”signals,including their concepts,signaling mechanisms,involved ligands,and ***,we delineate the relationships between“find me”and“eat me”signaling molecules and tumors,especially the roles of these molecules in tumor initiation,progression,diagnosis,and patient *** interplay of these signals with tumor biology is elucidated,and specific approaches to modulate“find me”and“eat me”signals and enhance antitumor immunity are ***,novel therapeutic strategies that combine“find me”and“eat me”signals to better bridge innate and adaptive immunity in the treatment of cancer patients are discussed.
