An ultrathin and crack-free metal-organic framework film for effective polysulfide inhibition in lithium-sulfur batteries

Due to their extensive microporous structure,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)find widespread application in constructing modification layers,functioning as ion ***,the modification layers prepared by existing methods feature gaps between MOFs that are noticeably larger than the inherent MOF pore *** and lithium ions unavoidably permeate through these gaps,hindering the full exploitation of the structural ***,an ultrathin(20 nm)and crack-free MOF film is formed on the separator by atomic layer deposition for the first *** on the separator,the mechanism of different MOF layers has been verified by phase field simulation and in situ Raman *** results accurately prove that the MOF particle layer can relieve the shuttle of polysulfides,but it does not have the effect of homogenizing lithium *** the ultrathin and crack-free MOF film with proper pore size can act as the ion sieve for both polysulfides and lithium *** a result,under the test condition of 2mA cm^(-2)-2 mAh cm^(-2),the overpotential of the Li/Li symmetric battery is only 18 mV after 2500 *** capacity retention rate of the lithium-sulfur battery is 95.6% after 500 cycles and 80% after 1000 cycles at 2 C.

Rechargeable magnesium-metal batteries(RMBs)have gained much attention due to their abundant resources as well as high ***,the high charge density of Mg^(2+)is one of the main reasons for the slow kinetics performance of RMBs,and modulation of the charge density is an important strategy to improve the kinetics and electrochemical performance of ***,we report on the conductive polymer polyaniline(PANI)for RMBs,which is found to have excellent kinetics and high discharge voltage when storing MgCl^(+).In the storage of MgCl^(+),PANI exhibits a high average discharge voltage platform is 2.3 V ***^(2+)/Mg,which is higher than that in storage of Mg^(2+).We demonstrated the reversible intercalation/de-intercalation of MgCl^(+)in PANI accompanying with the reversible transformation between the quinone ring(C–C,–N=)and the benzene ring(C=C,–NH–)during charging and *** functional theory calculation reveals that PANI exhibit higher voltages(2.25 V vs.1.82 V)along with lower diffusion energy barriers(1.27 eV vs.1.55 eV)for MgCl^(+)storage compared to Mg^(2+)*** work refines the storage mechanism of PANI in RMBs and provides new guidelines for the application of PANI in RMBs.

The plant genome produces an extremely large collection of long noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)that are generally expressed in a context-specific manner and have pivotal roles in regulation of diverse biological ***,we mapped the transcriptional heterogeneity of lncRNAs and their associated gene reg-ulatory networks at single-cell *** generated a comprehensive cell atlas at the whole-organism level by integrative analysis of 28 published single-cell RNA sequencing(scRNA-seq)datasets from juvenile Arabidopsis *** then provided an in-depth analysis of cell-type-related lncRNA signatures that show expression patterns consistent with canonical protein-coding gene *** further demon-strated that the cell-type-specific expression of lncRNAs largely explains their tissue *** addi-tion,we predicted gene regulatory networks on the basis of motif enrichment and co-expression analysis of lncRNAs and mRNAs,and we identified putative transcription factors orchestrating cell-type-specific expression of *** analysis results are available at the single-cell-based plant lncRNA atlas data-base(scPLAD;https://***/scPLAD/).Overall,this work demonstrates the power of inte-grative single-cell data analysis applied to plant lncRNA biology and provides fundamental insights into lncRNA expression specificity and associated gene regulation.

Neonicotinoids(NEOs),a large class of organic compounds,are a type of commonly used pesticide for crop *** uptake and accumulation in plants are prerequisites for their intra-and intercellular move-ments,transformation,and *** the molecular mechanisms that underpin NEO uptake by plants is crucial for effective application,which remains ***,we demonstrate that NEOs enter plant cells primarily through the transmembrane symplastic pathway and accumulate mainly in the *** plasma membrane intrinsic proteins discovered in Brassica rapa,BraPIP1;1 and BraPIP2;1,were found to encode aquaporins(AQPs)that are highly permeable to NEOs in different plant species and facilitate NEO subcellular diffusion and *** conserved transport function was further demonstrated in Xenopus laevis oocyte and yeast ***1;1 and BraPIP2;1 gene knockouts and interaction as-says suggested that their proteins can form functional *** of the potential of mean force indicated a negative correlation between NEO uptake and the energy barrier of BraPIP1;1 *** study shows that AQPs transport organic compounds with greater osmolarity than previously thought,providing new insight into the molecular mechanisms of organic compound uptake and facilitating innovations in systemic pesticides.

This paper focuses on a Pareto cooperative differential game with a linear mean-field backward stochastic system and a quadratic form cost functional. Based on a weighted sum optimality method, the Pareto game is equivalently converted to an optimal control problem. In the first place,the feedback form of Pareto optimal strategy is derived by virtue of decoupling technology, which is represented by four Riccati equations, a mean-field forward stochastic differential equation(MF-FSDE),and a mean-field backward stochastic differential equation(MF-BSDE). In addition, the corresponding Pareto optimal solution is further obtained. Finally, the author solves a problem in mathematical finance to illustrate the application of the theoretical results.

In the scenario that a solid-fuel launch vehicle maneuvers in outer space at high angles of attack and sideslip for energy management,Approximate Analytical Solutions(AAS)for the threedimensional(3D)ascent flight states are derived,which are the only solutions capable of considering time-varying Mass Flow Rate(MFR)at *** uneven MFR makes the thrust vary nonlinearly and thus increases the difficulty of the problem *** AAS are derived based on a 3D Generalized Ascent Dynamics Model(GADM)with a normalized mass as the independent *** simplify some highly nonlinear terms in the GADM,several approximate functions are introduced carefully,while the errors of the approximations relative to the original terms are regarded as minor ***,a finite series with positive and negative exponents,called Exponent-Symmetry Series(ESS),is proposed for function approximation to decrease the highest exponent in the AAS so as to reduce computer round-off *** calculate the ESS coefficients,a method of seeking the Optimal Interpolation Points(OIP)is proposed using the leastsquares-approximation *** to the artful design of the approximations,the GADM can be decomposed into two analytically solvable subsystems by a perturbation method,and thus the AAS are obtained ***,to help implement the AAS,two indirect methods for measuring the remaining mass and predicting the burnout time in flight are put forward using information from *** results verify the superiority of the AAS under the condition of time-varying MFR.

Green solvents such as water and ionic liquids(ILs) are pillars of the great mansion of green chemistry and green processing. Initially proposed as a new family of ILs,deep eutectic solvents(DESs) have received fast development in the past two decades. In this contribution,DESs are reviewed critically and the concept is extended to lowmelting mixture solvents(Lo MMSs),which cover all kinds of materials including ionic compounds,molecular compounds,and metals. Six classes of Lo MMSs are proposed as the new classification system and examples are given. Finally,several thermodynamic issues concerning Lo MMSs are discussed. Two new concepts,robustness of Lo MMSs and high-entropy Lo MMSs,are proposed.

In this paper,the dynamics(including shadowing property,expansiveness,topological stability and entropy)of several types of upper semi-continuous set-valued maps are mainly considered from differentiable dynamical systems points of *** is shown that(1)if f is a hyperbolic endomorphism then for eachε>0 there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that the induced set-valued map F_(f,U)has theε-shadowing property,and moreover,if f is an expanding endomorphism then there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that the induced set-valued map F_(f,U)has the Lipschitz shadowing property;(2)when a set-valued map F is generated by finite expanding endomorphisms,it has the shadowing property,and moreover,if the collection of the generators has no coincidence point then F is expansive and hence is topologically stable;(3)if f is an expanding endomorphism then for eachε>0 there exists a C^(1)-neighborhood U of f such that h(F_(f,U,ε))=h(f);(4)when F is generated by finite expanding endomorphisms with no coincidence point,the entropy formula of F is ***,the dynamics of the set-valued maps based on discontinuous maps on the interval are also considered.

To explore the kinetic adsorption under continuous and nonequilibrium states, an integration of continuous measurement and adsorption platform kinetics method was proposed, which was initially called the ICM-AP kinetics method, and a corresponding kinetic adsorption experimental method was developed. Adsorption experiments of europium(Eu) on Ca-bentonite,Na-bentonite, and the D231 cation exchange resin were performed using the ICM-AP kinetics method and continuous measurements. Because the kinetic experimental results observed in this study were different from those of traditional batch adsorption data, pseudo-first-order or pseudo-second-order kinetic models were unsuitable for fitting the experimental ***, a liquid membrane diffusion(LMD) model was developed based on the assumption of simultaneous adsorption/desorption to discuss the mechanism of kinetic adsorption. The kinetic adsorption mechanism was also studied by using *** results indicated that the proposed adsorption model can fit the experimental data more suitably, and the adsorption/desorption behaviors of Eu on bentonite and the D231 resin were simultaneously observed, suggesting that the adsorption kinetics of Eu(Ⅲ) was mainly dominated by hydrated Eu(Ⅲ) ions on the liquid membrane.
