Photocatalyst Ag/ZnO-TiO_(2)was prepared by template *** catalyst was characterized by XRD,SEM,and UVvis *** B(RhB)and target pollutants were used to evaluate the photocatalytic performance of the catalyst under 40W *** photocatalytic degradation mechanism of Rhodamine B was discussed through free radical quenching *** experimental results show that hexagonal ZnO-TiO_(2)can be successfully prepared by template method,and nano Ag particles are evenly loaded on the *** the reaction conditions of 1%catalyst input and 40W UV-lamp,the catalytic degradation rate of RhB by Ag/ZnO-TiO_(2)was 98.28%.The photocatalytic degradation mechanism of Ag/ZnO-TiO_(2)was explored by free radical quenching *** experimental results show that H+and·OH play a major role in the photocatalytic degradation of RhB by Ag/ZnO-TiO_(2).

The most difficult problem in hot gas desulfurization in Integrated Coal Gasification Combined Cycle （IGCC） is the pulverization of sulfur removal *** binders for hot gas sulfur removal sorbents can solve the pulverization *** this paper,six sorbents with binders of different argillaceous minerals were prepared by mechanical mixing *** behavior for hot gas desulfurization sorbents was investigated in a fixed-bed *** showed that sorbent NTKW2 with binder of clay had a better sulfidation ***2 had a more stable performance than other sorbents in the continuous sulfidation-regeneration *** capacity of sorbent remained the same in each *** desulfurization efficiency and mechanical strength of NTKW2 were the best among the tested *** behavior of NTKW2 at different temperatures showed different performances,and the best reaction temperature was 550 ℃.Higher heat stability,sulfur capacity and desulfurization efficiency were found on NTKW2 in six continuous sulfidation-regeneration cycles.

Anode materials were used to construct microbial fuel cells(MFCs),and the characteristics of the anodes were important for successful applied performance of the *** the cyclic voltammetry(CV)method,the experiments showed that 5 wt%multiwalled carbon nanotubes(MWNTs)were optimal for the PANI/MWNT film anodes prepared using 24 polymerization *** maximum output voltage of the PANI/MWNT film anodes reached 967.7 mV with a power density of 286.63 mW·*** output voltages of 860 mV,850 mV,and870 mV were achieved when the anaerobic fluidized bed microbial fuel cell(AFBMFC)anodes consisted of carbon cloth with carbon black on one side,copper foam and carbon brushes,*** of the anodes before starting the AFBMFC by immersion in a stirred bacterial fluid significantly shortened the AFBMFC startup *** the AFBMFC was continuously run,the anode surfaces generated active microbial catalytic material.

Establishing highly effective charge transfer channels in carbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4)) to enhance its photocatalytic activity is still a challenging ***,the delaminated 2D Ti_(3)C_(2) MXene nanosheets were employed to decorate the P-doped tubular g-C_(3)N_(4)(PTCN)for engineering 1D/2D Schottky heterojunction(PTCN/TC)through electrostatic *** optimized PTCN/TC exhibited the highest hydrogen evolution rate(565 μmol h^(-1)g^(-1)),which was 4.3 and 2.0-fold higher than pristine bulk g-C_(3)N_(4) and PTCN,*** enhancement may be primarily attributed to the phosphorus heteroatom doped and unique structure of 1D/2D g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2) Schottky heterojunction,enhancing the light-harvesting and charges’***-dimensional pathway of g-C_(3)N_(4) tube and built-in electric field of interfacial Schottky effect can significantly facilitate the spatial separation of photogenerated charge carriers,and simultaneously inhibit their recombination via Schottky *** this composite,metallic Ti_(3)C_(2) was served as electrons sink and photons ***,ultrathin Ti_(3)C_(2) flake with exposed terminal metal sites as a co-catalyst exhibited higher photocatalytic reactivity in H2 evolution compared to carbon materials(such as reduced graphene oxide).This work not only proposed the mechanism of tubular g-C_(3)N_(4)/Ti_(3)C_(2) Schottky junction in photocatalysis,but also provided a feasible way to load ultrathin Ti_(3)C_(2) as a co-catalyst for designing highly efficient photocatalysts.

Simultaneous degradation of RhB and reduction of Cr(Ⅵ) by MIL-53(Fe)/Polyaniline(PANI) with the mediation of organic acid

MIL-53(Fe)/polyaniline(PANI) composite was prepared by in situ depositing PANI on the surface of MIL-53(Fe) and their catalytic performances on the simultaneous removal of Rh B and Cr(Ⅵ) were investigated. The elimination efficiency of both RhB and Cr(Ⅵ) reached more than 98% under pH = 2 where hydrochloric acid and citric acid were used to adjust the pH. The results indicated that MIL-53(Fe)/PANI revealed an obvious pH response to the degradation of RhB, while citric acid promoted the Cr(Ⅵ)photoreduction. UV–Vis spectra, EIS, and photocurrent response experiments showed that MIL-53(Fe)/PANI had a better light response and carrier migration ability than MIL-53(Fe). The transient absorption spectra also exhibited that the lifetimes of photo-generated carriers were prolonged after the conductive polymer deposition on the MIL-53(Fe) surface. Scavenger experiments demonstrated that the main active species were·O;-and·OH. Combined with activity evaluation results, and the possible photocatalytic mechanism of MIL-53(Fe)/PANI on RhB oxidation and Cr(Ⅵ) reduction was proposed. The addition of conductive polymer can effectively improve the light response of the catalyst under acidic conditions, and meanwhile citric acid also provided a new mediation for the synergistic degradation of multiple pollutants. Good activity and stability of the catalysts made the scale-up purification of acid water feasible under UV–Vis light.

The effect of calcium oxide additive in iron oxide sorbent for hot gas desulfurization was investigated by XRD and TPR *** characterization showed that CaO was highly dispersed after the calcination of *** sulfate formed in the desulfurization was decomposed and regenerated to CaO by reacting with CO before the next sulfidation *** participated in every sulfidation/regeneration cycle and contributed to the enhancement of sulfur *** TPR results showed that the reduction temperature of the sorbent increased with the increase of the content of *** played a role of retarding ***,the addition of calcium oxide additive will benefit the utilization of iron oxide sorbent in strongly reducing atmospheres.

A double-effect reactive distillation(DERD)process was proposed for the production of propylene glycol methyl ether from propylene oxide and methanol to overcome the shortcoming of low selectivity and high-energy consumption in the tubular plug-flow reactor.A single-column reactive distillation(RD)process was conducted under optimized operating conditions based on sensitivity analysis as a *** results demonstrated that the proposed DERD process is able to achieve more than 95%selectivity of the desired *** that,a design approach of the DERD process with an objective of the minimum operating cost was proposed to achieve further energy savings in the RD *** proposed DERD configuration can provide a large energy-savings by totally utilization of the overhead vapor steam in the high-pressure RD column.A comparison of the single-column RD process revealed that the proposed DERD process can reduce the operating cost and the total annual cost of 25.3%and 30.7%,respectively,even though the total capital cost of DERD process is larger than that of the RD process.

Porous cotton stalk activated carbons(CSAC)were prepared by phosphoric acid activation of cotton stalks in a fluidized *** CSAC-supported Co-B and Co-Ce-B catalysts were prepared by the impregnation-chemical reduction *** samples were characterized by the nitrogen adsorption,XRD,FTIR and TEM *** effects of the sodium borohydride(NaBH_(4))and sodium hydroxide(NaOH)concentrations,reaction temperature and recyclability on the rate of NaBH_(4)hydrolysis over the CSAC-supported Co-Ce-B catalysts were systematically *** results showed that the agglomeration of the Co-Ce-B nanoclusters on the CSAC support surface was significantly reduced with the introduction of *** CSAC-supported Co-Ce-B catalyst exhibited superior catalytic activity and the average hydrogen generation rate was 16.42 L min^(−1)g^(−1)Co at 25℃,which is higher than the most reported cobalt-based *** catalytic hydrolysis of NaBH_(4)was zero order with respect to the NaBH_(4)concentration,and the hydrogen generation rate decreased with the increase in the NaOH *** activation energy of the hydrogen generation reaction on the prepared catalyst was estimated to be 48.22 kJ mol^(−1).A kinetic rate equation was also proposed.

Influence of CaO and HZSM-5 on oxygen migration in Chlorella vulgaris polysaccharide pyrolysis

With polysaccharides of Chlorella pyrenoidosa as the raw material,the effects of CaO and HZSM-5 on the yield of bio-oil and the oxygen content in each phase in the pyrolysis of Chlorella vulgaris polysaccharides(CVP),which occurred in a tube furnace at 600℃,were comprehensively *** reaction path of deoxidation was also analyzed by TG,GC and *** GC-MS analysis of liquids showed that liquids from the pyrolysis of chlorella polysaccharides included a range of light oxygenated compounds(e.g.,furans,ketones and phenols),and the oxygen content of furan compounds decreased significantly with CaO and *** with the direct pyrolysis of polysaccharides(CVP),the catalytic pyrolysis contributed to the decrease in the oxygen content of organic components by 7.32%and 5.76%.The GC analysis showed that there was a remarkable downtrend in the release of oxygen-containing gas(CO and CO_(2)),and the emission of CO_(2) decreased from 53.11%to 32.92%.The results of the thermogravimetric analysis indicated that the reaction paths of deoxidation in the pyrolysis process of polysaccharides(CVP)with CaO and HZSM-5 varied from those of the direct pyrolysis process:the catalytic pyrolysis with HZSM-5 promoted the conversion of carbohydrate from furans to aromatics over strong acid sites,which was consistent with previous studies;CaO not only acted as a catalyst but also participated in the reaction to change the reaction *** results and findings can help to further understand the thermochemical utilization of CPP for bio-oil.
