Prediction of contact resistance of electrical contact wear using different machine learning algorithms

H62 brass material is one of the important materials in the process of electrical energy transmission and signal transmission,and has excellent performance in all *** the wear behavior of electrical contact pairs is particularly complex when they are in service,we evaluated the effects of load,sliding velocity,displacement amplitude,current intensity,and surface roughness on the changes in contact *** learning(ML)algorithms were used to predict the electrical contact performance of different factors after wear to determine the correlation between different factors and contact *** forest(RF),support vector regression(SVR)and BP neural network(BPNN)algorithms were used to establish RF,SVR and BPNN models,respectively,and the experimental data were trained and *** was proved that BP neural network model could better predict the stable mean resistance of H62 brass alloy after *** analysis shows that the load and current have great influence on the predicted electrical contact *** wear behavior of electrical contacts is influenced by factors such as load,sliding speed,displacement amplitude,current intensity,and surface roughness during *** learning algorithms can predict the electrical contact performance after wear caused by these *** results indicate that an increase in load,current,and surface roughness leads to a decrease in stable mean resistance,while an increase in displacement amplitude and frequency results in an increase in stable mean resistance,leading to a decline in electrical contact *** reduce testing time and costs and quickly obtain the electrical contact performance of H62 brass alloy after wear caused by different factors,three algorithms(random forest(RF),support vector regression(SVR),and BP neural network(BPNN))were used to train and test experimental results,resulting in a machine learning model suitable for predicting the stable mean

Process intensification for the synthesis and purification of battery-grade li_(2)CO_(3)with microfluidics

Selective inhibition effects on cancer cells and bacteria of Ni–Ti–O nanoporous layers grown on biomedical NiTi alloy by anodization

Stents made of nearly equiatomic NiTi alloy are used to treat malignant obstruction caused by cancer,but prevention of re-obstruction after surgery is still a challenge because the bare stents possess poor anticancer and antibacterial properties to inhibit cancer/bacteria *** present work aims at endowing the NiTi alloy with anticancer and antibacterial abilities by surface ***–Ti–O nanoporous layers with different thicknesses were prepared on NiTi by anodization,and biological experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects on gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus,human lung epithelial cancer cells(A549),as well as human endothelial cells(***926).The nanoporous layer with a thickness of 10.1 lm inhibits growth of cancer cells and kill bacteria but shows little adverse effects on normal *** selectivity is related to the larger amount of Ni ions leached from the sample in the acidic microenvironment of cancer cells in comparison with normal *** Ni–Ti–O nanoporous layers are promising as coatings on NiTi stents to prevent re-obstruction after surgery.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the associations of lipid indicators and mortality in Beijing Elderly Comprehensive Health Cohort *** A prospective cohort was conducted based on Beijing Elderly Comprehensive Health Cohort Study with 4499 com-munity older *** the baseline survey,the last follow-up was March 31,2021 with an average 8.13 years of *** proportional hazard model was used to estimate the hazard ratios(HR)with 95%CI for cardiovascular disease(CVD)death and all-cause death in associations with baseline lipid *** A total of 4499 participants were recruited,and the mean levels of uric acid,body mass index,systolic blood pres-sure,diastolic blood pressure,fasting plasma glucose,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride,and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)showed an upward trend with the increasing remnant cholesterol(RC)quarters(Ptrendlipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C).During the total 36,596 person-years follow-up,the CVD mortal-ity and all-cause mortality during an average 8.13 years of follow-up was 3.87%(95%CI:3.30%-4.43%)and 14.83%(95%CI:13.79%-15.86%)with 174 CVD death participants and 667 all-cause death *** adjusting for confounders,the higher level of TC(HR=0.854,95%CI:0.730-0.997),LDL-C(HR=0.817,95%CI:0.680-0.982)and HDL-C(HR=0.443,95%CI:0.271-0.724)were associated with lower risk of CVD death,and the higher level of HDL-C(HR=0.637,95%CI:0.501-0.810)were associated with lower risk of all-cause *** higher level of RC(HR=1.276,95%CI:1.010-1.613)increase the risk of CVD ***-pared with the normal lipid group,TC≥6.20 mmol/L group and LDL-C≥4.10 mmol/L group were no longer associated with lower risk of CVD death,while RC≥0.80 mmol/L group was still associated with higher risk of CVD *** normal lipid gr-oup,the higher levels of TC,LDL-C and HDL-C were related with lower CVD *** In community older adults,higher levels of TC

Accelerating lithium-sulfur battery reaction kinetics and inducing 3D deposition of li_(2)S using interactions between Fe_(3)Se_(4)and lithium polysulfides

Although lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)exhibit high theoretical energy density,their practical application is hindered by poor conductivity of the sulfur cathode,the shuttle effect,and the irreversible deposition of li_(2)*** address these issues,a novel composite,using electrospinning technology,consisting of Fe_(3)Se_(4)and porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers was designed for the interlayer of *** porous carbon nanofiber structure facilitates the transport of ions and electrons,while the Fe_(3)Se_(4)material adsorbs lithium polysulfides(liPSs)and accelerates its catalytic conversion ***,the Fe_(3)Se_(4)material interacts with soluble liPSs to generate a new polysulfide intermediate,li_(x)FeS_(y)complex,which changes the electrochemical reaction pathway and facilitates the three-dimensional deposition of li_(2)S,enhancing the reversibility of *** designed LSB demonstrates a high specific capacity of1529.6 mA h g^(-1)in the first cycle at 0.2 *** rate performance is also excellent,maintaining an ultra-high specific capacity of 779.7 mA h g^(-1)at a high rate of 8 *** investigation explores the mechanism of the interaction between the interlayer and liPSs,and provides a new strategy to regulate the reaction kinetics and li_(2)S deposition in LSBs.

Nature provides a wealth of bio-inspiration for advanced material *** various nanomaterials into biomimetic microtextures with bioinspired functionalities has spurred increasing research interests and facilitated technological advances in various *** recent years,two-dimensional materials(2DMs)have emerged as important building block units in the biomimicry field due to their distinct chemical,physical,electrical,electrochemical,and catalytic *** this review article,various mechanically driven assembly approaches are summarized to fabricate various genealogies of biomimetic 2DM microtextures with bio-inspired ***,sequential deformation strategies are discussed to programmably construct higher dimensional 2DM microtextures,ranging from wrinkles/crumples(one-time deformation)to multiscale hierarchies(multiple deformations).Next,the current progress using higher dimensional 2DM microtextures to imitate different biological structures and/or induce bio-inspired multifunctionality is systematically *** showcases of bio-inspiration and biomimicry using different 2DM nanosheets are highlighted:(1)wrinkle patterns of an earthworm that spur the design of strain sensors with programmable working ranges and sensitivities,(2)wrinkle appearance of a Shar-Pei dog that motivates the fabrication of stretchable energy storage devices,(3)hierarchical scale textures of a desert lizard that inspire cation-induced gelation platforms for 2DM aerogels,and(4)wrinkle skin of an elephant that influences the development of 2DM protective skin for soft ***,challenges and future opportunities of adopting 2DM nanosheets to assemble biomimetic microstructures with synergistic functionalities are discussed.

A li_(3)P nanoparticle dispersion strengthened ultrathin li metal electrode for high energy density rechargeable batteries

Achievement of lithium(li)metal anode with thin thickness(e.g.,≤30µm)is highly desirable for rechargeable high energy density ***,the fabrication and application of such thin li metal foil electrode remain challenging due to the poor mechanical processibility and inferior electrochemical performance of metallic ***,mechanico-chemical synthesis of robust ultrathin li/li_(3)P(LLP)composite foils(~15µm)is demonstrated by employing repeated mechanical rolling/stacking operations using red P and metallic li as raw *** in-situ formed li+-conductive li_(3)P nanoparticles in metallic li matrix and their tight bonding strengthen the mechanical durability and enable the successful fabrication of free-standing ultrathin li metal composite ***,it also reduces the electrochemical li nucleation barrier and homogenizes li plating/stripping *** matching to high-voltage liCoO_(2),the full cell with a low negative/positive(N/P)capacity ratio of~1.5 offers a high energy density of~522 W·h·kg^(-1) at 0.5 C based on the mass of cathode and *** into account its facile manufacturing,potentially low cost,and good electrochemical performance,we believe that such an ultrathin composite li metal foil design with nanoparticle-dispersion-strengthened mechanism may boost the development of high energy density li metal batteries.

Rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in highly myopic eyes with implantable collamer lens

AIM:To investigate the clinical characteristics,treatment methods and outcomes of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment(RRD)in highly myopic eyes with implantable collamer lens(ICL).METHODS:High myopia patients who received treatment for nontraumatic RRD after ICL implantation surgery at the Retinal Department of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center from Jan 2018 to Dec 2022 were *** ophthalmologic examinations including visual acuity measurement and digital fundus photography were performed in each ***:A total of nine RRD eyes from nine patients who received V4c-ICL implantation were *** mean time from ICL implantation surgery to the diagnosis of RRD was 32.44±22.56mo(range,1-60mo).At the initial visit for RRD,giant retinal tear(GRT),horseshoe tear,simple round hole,and horseshoe tear combined with round hole were detected in 3,3,2,and 1 eye(s),respectively,with maculaoff in *** patients received surgical treatment,and one patient was treated by retinal laser photocoagulation *** ICL was preserved in 7 *** the last followup,the mean best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)improved significantly from 1.76±1.06 logMAR at presentation to 0.81±1.01 logMAR(P=0.035),and no case of recurrent retinal detachment was ***:The morphological presentation of retinal breaks is diverse in this *** ICL can be preserved in most cases during the course of retinal detachment repair surgery in our data,companied with acceptable visual and anatomical outcomes.
