This editorial examines a recent study that used radiomics based on computed tomography(CT)to predict the expression of the fibroblast-related gene enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)and its correlation with the survival of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).By integrating radiomics with molecular analysis,the study presented a strategy for accurately predicting the expression of EZH2 from CT *** findings demonstrated a strong link between the radiomics model,EZH2 expression,and patient *** noninvasive approach provides valuable insights into the therapeutic management of HCC.

In the intricate process of natural product biosynthesis, a metabolon can enhance metabolic flux by associating sequential enzymes. A fungal metabolon, comprising of flavin-dependent monooxygenase Spe F and P450 monooxygenase Spe g, is identified in the biosynthesis of spiro polycyclic alkaloids(+)-notoamide B and its diastereomer(+)-versicolamide B. Using notoamide E as a substance, Spe F/Spe g metabolon can control the stereoselectivity of its 2,3-epoxidation, followed by hydrogen atom ion at C-17 to generate reactive epoxide tau-m A with dienyl iminium unit. Subsequently,(+)-notoamide B and(+)-versicolamide B are produced via tandem nonenzymatic inverse-electron-demand Diels-Alder reaction and semipinacol rearrangement. This provides the first example of metabolon in the biosynthesis of spiro-prenylated indole alkaloids.

We investigate the evolution of a delayed feedforward network model with plasticity. It is found that desynchronized and synchronized firing patterns both exist in the feedforward network（FFN） with different synaptic delays. Synaptic delays may play a significant role in bridging rate coding and time coding. Then we focus on the evolution of firing rate and synaptic weights in the FFN network based on the spike-timing dependent plasticity（STDP） rules. The firing rates can be reliably transmitted after the evolution based on STDP rules. The mean synaptic weights tend to be saturated after certain time of evolution. Furthermore,the firing information can be shifted by the changes of network connection and STDP rules through the FFN network.

The exact boundary condition on a spherical artificial boundary is derived for the three-dimensional exterior problem of linear elasticity in this paper. After this boundary condition is imposed on the artificial boundary, a reduced problem only defined in a bounded domain is obtained. A series of approximate problems with increasing accuracy can be derived if one truncates the series term in the variational formulation, which is equivalent to the reduced problem. An error estimate is presented to show how the error depends on the finite element discretization and the accuracy of the approximate problem. In the end, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.
