BACKGROUND Esophageal stricture is one of the complications after esophageal varices sclero-therapy injection(ESI),and the incidence rate is between 2%-10%.AIM To explore the efficacy of self-expanding metal stent(SEMS)for the stricture after endoscopic injection with cyanoacrylate(CYA)and sclerotherapy for esophageal *** We retrospectively analyzed the efficacy of SEMS to improve the stricture after endoscopic injection with CYA and sclerotherapy for esophageal varices in 4 patients from February 2023 to June *** The strictures were improved in four patients after *** stent was removed after two weeks because of chest pain with embedding into esophageal mucosa in one *** stent was removed after one month,however,the stent was reinserted because of the strictures happening again in two *** stent was removed after three months,however,the stent was reinserted because of the strictures happening again in one *** stent embedded into esophageal mucosa in three *** were 3 patients suffered reflux esophagitis,and the acid reflux was relieved by taking *** was no other complication of esophageal perforation,bleeding from varices or *** SEMS may relieve the stricture which happened after endoscopic injection with CYA and sclerotherapy for esophageal ***,when we should remove the stent still needs to be explored.

A 2D axisymmetric numerical model was established to investigate the variations of molten pool with different melt rates during the vacuum arc remelting of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel,and the ingot growth was simulated by dynamic mesh *** results show that as the ingot grows,the molten pool profile changes from shallow and flat to V-shaped,and both the molten pool depth and the mushy width ***,the variation of both the molten pool shape and the mushy width melt rate is clarified by the thermal equilibrium *** melt rate increases,both the molten pool depth and the mushy width *** is caused by the increment in sensible heat stored in the ingot due to the limitation of the cooling capacity of the *** nonlinear increment in sensible heat leads to a nonlinear increase in the mushy *** addition,as melt rate increases,the local solidification time(LST)of ingot decreases obviously at first and then *** melt rate is controlled in a suitable range,LST is the lowest and the secondary dendrite arm spacing of the ingot is the smallest,which can effectively improve the compactness degree of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel.

The layer Hall effect describes electrons spontaneously deflected to opposite sides at different layers, which has been experimentally reported in the MnBi2Te4thin films under perpendicular electric fields. Here, we reveal a universal origin of the layer Hall effect in terms of the so-called hidden Berry curvature, as well as material design principles. Hence, it gives rise to zero Berry curvature in momentum space but non-zero layer-locked hidden Berry curvature in real space. We show that, compared to that of a trivial insulator, the layer Hall effect is significantly enhanced in antiferromagnetic topological insulators. Our universal picture provides a paradigm for revealing the hidden physics as a result of the interplay between the global and local symmetries, and can be generalized in various scenarios.

In this article,in-situ scanning electron microscope characterization of the tensile properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn titanium matrix composite(TMC)was conducted before and after electroshocking treatment(EST).After EST,the tensile strength increased by 113.2 *** effect of EST on the tensile strength and fracture behavior of TiB was investigated using in-situ characterization of the fracture morphology and crack propagation path of the matrix and *** EST,TiB fracture introduced cracks that extended into the matrix,resulting in material *** EST,the refined TiB improved the bearing capacity of the matrix,thereby improving TMC ***,after EST,the cracks were introduced into the matrix,and resulting the fracture of matrix *** an increase in the external load,cracks in the matrix were observed to propagate to TiB,and the refined TiB was fractured,detached,and pulled out,resulting in the formation of *** the propagation path of the main crack after EST showed that the deflection angle of the main crack *** micro structure of the fracture surface indicated that the fracture of the matrix was plastic,whereas that of TiB was *** EST,the size and area of the dimples increased,confirming the increase in *** results revealed that the comprehensive mechanical properties of TiB/Ti-2Al-6Sn improved after ***,EST is an efficient method for tailoring the micro structures and mechanical properties of TMCs.

This paper studies the optimal portfolio allocation of a fund manager when he bases decisions on both the absolute level of terminal relative performance and the change value of terminal relative performance comparison to a predefined reference point. We find the optimal investment strategy by maximizing a weighted average utility of a concave utility and an Sshaped utility via a concavification technique and the martingale method. Numerical results are carried out to show the impact of the extent to which the manager pays attention to the change of relative performance related to the reference point on the optimal terminal relative performance.

Stochastic resonance is a phenomenon in which adding random noise to a system enhances the detection or transmission of a weak signal. It occurs when the noise interacts with the system's nonlinearity, thus improving signal-to-noise ratio and increasing sensitivity. Although parametric resonances in an atomic spinor Bose-Einstein condensate have been investigated, the question of whether one can observe stochastic resonance in such a system persists. In this study we propose a scheme for generating stochastic resonance in a cavity-spinor Bose-Einstein condensate coupling system. We demonstrate stochastic resonance through numerical calculations using the mean-field theory and truncated Wigner approximation methods. Furthermore, the characteristics of the system's response to noise and periodic signals are studied in detail. This study unravels a new scheme for observing stochastic resonance via linking atomic many-body physics with cavity quantum electrodynamics.

Chronic pancreatitis(CP)is a progressive and irreversible fibroinflammatory disorder,accompanied by pancreatic exocrine insufficiency and dysregulated gut ***,accumulating evidence has supported a correlation between gut dysbiosis and CP ***,whether gut microbiota dysbiosis contributes to CP pathogenesis remains ***,an experimental CP was induced by repeated high-dose caerulein *** broad-spectrum antibiotics(ABX)and ABX targeting Gram-positive(G+)or Gram-negative bacteria(G-)were applied to explore the specific roles of these *** dysbiosis was observed in both mice and in CP patients,which was accompanied by a sharply reduced abundance for short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)-producers,especially G+***-spectrum ABX exacerbated the severity of CP,as evidenced by aggravated pancreatic fibrosis and gut dysbiosis,especially the depletion of SCFAs-producing G+***,depletion of SCFAs-producing G+bacteria rather than G-bacteria intensified CP progression independent of TLR4,which was attenuated by supplementation with exogenous ***,SCFAs modulated pancreatic fibrosis through inhibition of macrophage infiltration and M2 phenotype *** study supports a critical role for SCFAs-producing G+bacteria in ***,modulation of dietary-derived SCFAs or G+SCFAs-producing bacteria may be considered a novel interventive approach for the management of CP.
