Introduction:The Nugent score,limited by subjectivity and personnel requirements,lacks *** a precise and simple molecular test is therefore essential for detecting vaginal microbiota compositions and evaluating vaginal ***:We evaluated the vaginal health of Chinese women using quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qPCR)to target Lactobacillus crispatus(***),***,Gardnerella vaginalis(***),Atopobium vaginae(***),and Megasphaera *** vaginosis(BV)-related bacteria shared a fluorescent *** 16S rDNA sequencing as a reference standard,we evaluated and validated the diagnostic accuracy of the qPCR ***:Both qPCR and 16S rDNA sequencing demonstrated 90.5%concordance in segregating vaginal community state type(CST),as visualized through heatmaps and ***’s correlation analysis revealed strong correlations between the two methods in calculating the RA of ***(CST I),***(CST III),and BV-related bacteria(CST IV),with coefficients of 0.865,0.837,and 0.827,*** operating characteristic analysis showed that qPCR had significant diagnostic accuracy for CST I,CST III,and CST IV(molecular BV),with area under the curve values of 0.967,0.815,and 0.950,respectively,indicating strong predictive ***:Vaginal health can be evaluated using a single qPCR amplification experiment,making the multiplex qPCR assay a highly accurate tool for this purpose.

Axial enantiomers with donor-regulated TADF feature for multicolor circularly polarized electroluminescence

This study optimized the TADF feature of axial chiral enantiomers through precise donor engineering,and multicolor CP-TADFwas achieved in the axial chiral *** pairs of axial enantiomers with donor-regulated TADF feature,namely(R/S)-TPCBD,(R/S)-DPCBD,and(R/S)-DPACBD,were synthesized by introducing carbazole donors with different substituents onto biphenyl cyanide *** the electron-donating ability of donors increases,the emission of these axial enantiomers ranges from 455,476 to 552 nm,their singlet-triplet energy gaps(Δe_(ST))gradually decrease from 0.30,0.22 to 0.02 e V,accompanied by an increasement in the transition rate(k_(RISC))of RISC process,and the k_(RISC)of DPACBD could reach up to 7.16×10^(5)s^(-1).These axial enantiomers also exhibit mirror-image CD and circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)***,OLeDs based on TPCBD,DPCBD,and DPACBD as emitter were then fabricated,which displayed blue,green,and orange electroluminescence with eQe_(max)of 13.0%,16.4%,and 25.0%,*** results also exhibited a phenomenon of device efficiency increasing with the enhancement of donor ***,the CP-OLeDs using(R/S)-TPCBD,(R/S)-DPCBD and(R/S)-DPACBD as emitters displayed intense CPeL signals with g_(eL)values of 3.4×10^(-3)/-4.1×10^(-3),3.2×10^(-3)/-3.1×10^(-3)and2.3×10^(-3)/-2.1×10^(-3),*** convenient molecular engineering of donor regulation in the same molecular skeleton,CP-TADF materials with multicolor CPeL and improved device performance could be conveniently achieved.

Inter-stage performance and energy characteristics analysis of electric submersible pump based on entropy production theory

The electric submersible pump(eSP) is a crucial apparatus utilized for lifting in the oil extraction *** lifting capacity is enhanced by the multi-stage tandem structure, but variations in energy characteristics and internal flow across stages are also introduced. In this study, the inter-stage variability of energy characteristics in eSP hydraulic systems is investigated through entropy production(eP) analysis,which incorporates numerical simulations and experimental validation. The eP theory facilitates the quantification of energy loss in each computational subdomain at all eSP stages, establishing a correlation between microscopic flow structure and energy dissipation within the system. Furthermore, the underlying causes of inter-stage variability in eSP hydraulic systems are examined, and the advantages and disadvantages of applying the eP theory in this context are evaluated. Consistent energy characteristics within the eSP, aligned with the distribution of internal flow structure, are provided by the eP theory, as demonstrated by our results. The eP theory also enables the quantitative analysis of internal flow losses and complements existing performance analysis methods to map the internal flow structure to hydraulic losses. Nonetheless, an inconsistency between the energy characterization based on eP theory and the traditional efficiency index when reflecting inter-stage differences is identified. This inconsistency arises from the exclusive focus of the eP theory on flow losses within the flow field, disregarding the quantification of external energy input to the flow field. This study provides a reference for the optimization of eP theory in rotating machinery while deeply investigating the energy dissipation characteristics of multistage hydraulic system, which has certain theoretical and practical significance.

Spatio-temporal Variation Characteristics of extreme Climate events and Their Teleconnections to Large-scale Ocean-atmospheric Circulation Patterns in Huaihe River Basin,China During 1959–2019

Huaihe River Basin(HRB) is located in China’s north-south climatic transition zone,which is very sensitive to global climate *** on the daily maximum temperature,minimum temperature,and precipitation data of 40 meteorological stations and nine monthly large-scale ocean-atmospheric circulation indices data during 1959–2019,we present an assessment of the spatial and temporal variations of extreme temperature and precipitation events in the HRB using nine extreme climate indices,and analyze the teleconnection relationship between extreme climate indices and large-scale ocean-atmospheric circulation *** results show that warm extreme indices show a significant(P easing trend,while cold extreme indices(except for cold spell duration) and diurnal temperature range(DTR) show a significant decreasing ***,all extreme temperature indices show significant mutations during ***,a stronger warming trend occurs in eastern HRB than western HRB,while maximum 5-d precipitation(Rx5day) and rainstorm days(R25) show an increasing trend in the southern,central,and northwestern regions of *** oscillation(AO),Atlantic multidecadal oscillation(AMO),and east Atlantic/Western Russia(eA/WR) have a stronger correlation with extreme climate indices compared to other circulation *** and AMO(eA/WR) exhibit a significant(P egative(positive)correlation with frost days and diurnal temperature *** warm events are strongly correlated with the variability of AMO and eA/WR in most parts of HRB,while extreme cold events are closely related to the variability of AO and AMO in eastern *** contrast,AMO,AO,and eA/WR show limited impacts on extreme precipitation events in most parts of HRB.

Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion ***,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its *** improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated ***,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical ***,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO *** effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn *** Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1000 cycles(360.4 mAh·g^(−1)) at a current density of 1 A·g^(−1).The high-load Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3||Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 150 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1).This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

Obesity has a multifactorial etiology and is known to be a state of chronic low-grade inflammation,known as *** state is associated with the development of metabolic disorders such as glucose intolerance and nonalcoholic fatty liver *** is a glycolytic metabolite and a crucial node in various metabolic ***,its role and molecular mechanism in obesity and associated complications are *** this study,we reported that pyruvate substantially inhibited adipogenic differentiation in vitro and its administration significantly prevented HFD-induced weight gain,white adipose tissue inflammation,and metabolic *** identify the target proteins of pyruvate,drug affinity responsive target stability was employed with proteomics,cellular thermal shift assay,and isothermal drug response to detect the interactions between pyruvate and its molecular ***,we identified cytosolic phospholipase A2(cPLA2)as a novel molecular target of pyruvate and demonstrated that pyruvate restrained diet-induced obesity,white adipose tissue inflammation,and hepatic steatosis in a cPLA2-dependent *** with global ablation of cPLA2 in mice showed that the protective effects of pyruvate were largely abrogated,confirming the importance of pyruvate/cPLA2 interaction in pyruvate attenuation of inflammation and ***,our study not only establishes pyruvate as an antagonist of cPLA2 signaling and a potential therapeutic option for obesity but it also sheds light on the mechanism of its ***’s prior clinical use indicates that it can be considered a safe and viable alternative for obesity,whether consumed as a dietary supplement or as part of a regular diet.

Optimization of resource allocation in FDD massive MIMO systems

The performance of massive MIMO systems relies heavily on the availability of Channel State Information at the Transmitter(CSIT).A large amount of work has been devoted to reducing the CSIT acquisition overhead at the pilot training and/or CsI feedback *** fact,the downlink communication generally includes three stages,i.e.,pilot training,CsI feedback,and data *** three stages are mutually related and jointly determine the overall system ***,there exist few studies on the reduction of csIT acquisition overhead from the global point of *** this paper,we integrate the Minimum Mean Square error(MMSe)channel estimation,Random Vector Quantization(RVQ)based limited feedback and Maximal Ratio Combining(MRC)precoding into a unified framework for investigating the resource allocation *** particular,we first approximate the covariance matrix of the quantization error with a simple expression and derive an analytical expression of the received Signal-to-Noise Ratio(SNR)based on the deterministic equivalence *** the three performance metrics(the spectral efficiency,energy efficiency,and total energy consumption)oriented problems are formulated *** practical system requirements,these three metrics can be collaboratively ***,we propose an optimization solver to derive the optimal partition of channel coherence *** results verify the benefits of the proposed resource allocation schemes under three different scenarios and illustrate the tradeoff of resource allocation between three stages.
